(A/N: I really think Astrid has kind of long nails.)

Getting home well past 2 AM in the middle of the night, they had simply dropped everything in the hall and gone to bed, spent after the shopping and picnic, - not to mention three rounds of sex under the stars. 

They had woken up quite late, - some cats couldn't wait forever for their food - and started the day by cleaning up what they had left in the hall before lazily eating breakfast and then flopping into the couch.

Ever since then, they had been watching TV. 

Hiccup was leaned against the armrest of the couch, his left leg on it while his right one rested on the floor. Astrid was leaned against his chest and he was brushing his fingers through her loose hair and playing with it.  

His free hand was laying over her shoulder, resting on her chest and holding her hand.

He sighed in contentment before he jerked up. Astrid sat up swiftly and looked at him, letting go of his hand. "What's wrong, babe?" She asked.

Hiccup tried to reach behind his back to stretch the itch he was having but without success. "Itch. Can't reach it," He said, his voice kind of forced.

Astrid chuckled. "Turn around. I'll get that for you," She said and watched as Hiccup turned around, lifting the shirt on his back to his neck, exposing his back.

"Where?"

"Kind of the middle of my back."

Astrid places her hand on his back and started to scratch lightly. "Just a little more down," He said and she did what he told her. "Oh, yes. Yep. That's the spot," Hiccup said, relief laced in his voice.

"That feels so good..." He said even after Astrid had scratched the itch away. "You good? Does it still itch?"

"Nope. But, that feels so good," He said, sighing. "What? Back scratches?"

"Uh-huh."

Astrid laughed and placed her hand in between his shoulder blades, dragging her nails up and down his back.

"Oh, okay. Wow..." Hiccup said and raised his arm, showing her it, goosebumps forming on his skin.

She laughed softly and leaned in, placing both of her hands on his back. "You are such a dork," She whispered before kissing his shoulder. "Thanks. You still love me, right?" He asked, looking back at her.

Astrid pulled away swiftly and looked at him, hands still on his back. "What are you talking about? Why wouldn't I love you?" She asked, confusion laced in her voice.

Hiccup let down his shirt and Astrid pulled her hands away from him. "I...I don't know. Sometimes, it feels like...maybe, you don't love me so much anymore. That I'm not good enough for you and I know I'm not. You're beautiful and you're amazing and you're perfect and...I'm just, Hiccup. I'm exactly what my name means. A runt," Hiccup paused for a second. "Useless-"

Astrid interrupted him. "You are not a runt and you're definitely not useless," Astrid said, placing her hands on his cheeks. "You're perfect to me. You always will be. No matter what happens. Listen to me, you're amazing and I would've probably been dead by now if it hadn't been for you. You're my boyfriend, my significant other..." Astrid trailed off.

Hiccup looked at her with a smile, pulling her hands away from his cheeks. "Thank you, Astrid. For everything," He said, leaning in and pressing a small kiss to her lips.

Astrid snaked her arm around his neck and buried her hand into his auburn locks, grabbing a fistful of it.

Hiccup pulled away and stood up, pulling her up with him and hugging her against him. "You have no idea how much I love you," He whispered.

"I love you too, babe..." Astrid whispered, smiling. "Wait, no," She said and paused before looking up at him. "As cliche as it sounds, you're not my babe. You're my king," She said.

Hiccup laughed and kissed her head. "If I'm your king, then you're my queen."

Astrid shrugged before leaning up. 

He met her halfway with a smile and kissed her.
