Hiding The Wolfkin
Himikos pov
I ran downstairs to the kitchen where my parents were waiting with angry expressions.
"bout time you got up" my father slammed my food in front of me "now eat up and get to work!"
"good morning to you too" I muttered under my breath before digging into my food. When they weren't looking I grabbed a plate for kokichi since I figured he hadn't eaten anything yet.
I carefully walked upstairs with the plate in hand and walked into my room to find kokichi out of sight.
"Umm kokichi are you still there?" I called out.
"I'm right here" kokichi burst out of my closet covered in my old magician equipment "I don't know you were into magic"
"oh well that was a long time ago" I muttered, feeling a little embarrassed that he found something so personal.
He picked up my old hat and placed it on my head "this witches hat looks cute on you" he grinned.
"thanks" I blushed slightly. It felt nice to have someone support my dream even just a little bit.
Suddenly I remembered about the plate in my hand "here I brought you up some food" I handed it to him.
"thanks himi it looks delicious" his tail wagged excitedly as he dug in.
I watched him with fascination. Until yesterday I had no idea that strange creatures like wolfkins exist. It made me want to learn more about the world I live in.
Kokichi caught me staring and grinned "you know if your so interested in my people then you should check out the blood moon festival"
"the blood moon festival" I questioned "what's that"
"it's a festival that happenes once every blood moon" he explained "its very important to my people"
A festival that's very important to wolfkin culture. That dose sound interesting.
"I might take you up on that"
