Himikos pov

I thankfully arrived home before my parents had noticed I was gone. I would have been in for a world of hell if they did!

I slowly opened the door and shut it so that my parents wouldn't be alerted about my presence. I tiptoed inside to see my parents sitting on the couch watching TV. They probably didn't even notice I was gone. Parents of the year everyone!

I ran upstairs and jumped on my bed. It's time for my favourite time of the day. Laying in bed daydreaming.

My parents see me as nothing but a lazy girl who has nothing better to do with her time (which is why they make me do all their work!) but what they don't understand is that most of my energy gose into my mind.

I always wanted to be a mage. I'd spent hours daydreaming about souring through the air and casting spells. I never truly believed that magic was real. That is until I met that wolfkin.

He was rude and didn't seem to understand personal space but he was also fascinating. His existence alone proved that magic was real. A part of me never wanted to see that rude boy again but another part of me wanted to learn more about him and his race.

Before I knew it it was dark outside. I sighed and curled up into bed.
