For my story break today I'm sharing an AWESOME book series called "His Fair Assassin". It's by Robin LaFevers and there are currently three books.

The first, "Grave Mercy", is about a girl named Ismae who escapes an arranged marriage and is taken in by a convent who worships Death, because she is one of Death's daughters. Ismae is trained to be an assassin, and then sent to court to find out who is trying to undermine the young Empress. Her partner in this is the sizzling, duty-obssessed, adorable bastard prince Duval.

The romance builds slowly but surely, the story is action packed, the intrigue will leave you breathless and even if you see the twists coming (one actually surprised me) you will love the way Robin plays everything out. Her writing is exquisite and her characters are so real that you want to cheer and cry for them all the way! 

If you haven't read this series, get going! I'm so sold that I bought the books, and I never buy a book that I won't reread over and over again. It's definitely worth your time!
