Charles P.O.V

I was watching the rest of the Siren Fleet I defeated sink to the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea. I was quickly interrupted by some bickering. As I looked back behind me, I see some Shipgirls, 2 of them were arguing with each other while the others looked at the scene, facepalming at their attitude.

Richelieu: Who said he will join your faction ? He will most likely join mine.

Jean Bart : Why would he join a harlot like you ?

Richelieu: Bold of you to assume he will join a old hag.

Jean Bart : You will regret this.

I quickly became pissed off at their attitude, so I decided to shoot with one of my cannons in the air to get their attention.

Charles : COULD YOU STOP THAT ?!?!

And it worked because they stopped, and they were scared because of my glare that said "Continue and I'll shoot you next". Now that they calmed themselves, I approached them to see what they want.

Charles : You're calm now ?

I see they all nodded their head.

Charles : Good, because it seemed to me you wanted to speak with me, so what do you want to talk about ?

Richelieu : Yes, we wanted to know who you are because, first, you're a shipboy, which is a first in the world, second, you have destroyed that Siren Fleet like it was nothing, and finally, what are those wired planes you carry with you, because I can clearly see that no one has something like that, not even the Sirens.

She has a point, after all, I came out of nowhere with technology from the 21st century in the period of WW2, and also because I am apparently the only ship that is a boy in the world from what I have heard.

Charles : I can answer all the questions you want to ask me, but would it be possible to do that in one of your bases instead ?

Jean Bart : Why would we do that ? We don't know your intentions !

Charles : I could say the same thing to you, seeming interested in me because of how different I am from all of you, but that's beside the point. Also, doing a meeting in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea would not be a good idea because there could be spies around, whether there are Sirens or from other nations.

Jean Bart P.O.V

He seems just as wary as me, due to the good points he raised. He really know what he does and say, but he doesn't seem like the type of person to lie, especially because of the flag he has on his ship which is similar to both Iris Libre and Vivchiya Dominion, except for the symbol at the center which is completely absent.

Richelieu P.O.V

He is wary of us but I can't blame him, after coming out of nowhere and his first contact, which was with the Sirens, wasn't pretty welcoming either to him.

Richelieu : Do you mind if I discuss this with the others ?

Charles : Take your time, I can understand.

Richelieu: Merci.

Charles : De rien.

I widen a little my eyes due to the fact he can understand and talk our native language. Keeping that in mind, I turned back to the girls to ask if we shall do as he said.

Richelieu : Shall we go to one of our bases ?

Saint Louis : While I don't know his intentions, he has a point about possible spies from the Siren or even Ironblood or other factions observing us.

Dunkerque : I think this is the safest choice. I could feel the seriousness in his voice, he doesn't feel like someone who would attack us for no reason.

Jean Bart : We still need to have an eye on him, we never know what one person can think.

Richelieu : So, is everyone okay with this ?

All the girls nodded.

Richelieu : Let's not make him wait any longer, then. And send a message to the rest to join us there.

Charles P.O.V

I was waiting patiently for their discussion to end. It didn't take long before the blond girl with the crown come back to me.

Richelieu: We accept your choice, however, know that the others girls will keep watch on you, to make sure you don't do anything suspicious.

Charles : Understandable. I shall let you ladies lead the way then.

I can see that she blushed as I said that, the other girls doing the same, but I just let it slide for now as I prepare myself to follow them.

Richelieu P.O.V

After an hour of travel, we finally got to the base in Toulon. We were lucky to not find any Sirens on our way, not like they could do anything with that shipboy with us.

Richelieu: Here we are, welcome to the base of Toulon.

As I said "Toulon", the shipboy's eyes widen before quickly coming back to a neutral look, I might ask him why later.

Richelieu : Follow us to the meeting room where we can ask you questions and answer the eventual questions you may have.

???1 : Very well.

As we enter the base, we see a few girls from both Iris Libre and Vichiya Domion that were waiting for us.

???2 : Bonjour. Could you explain why both of the factions are here ?

???3 : Yeah, why are we here when we shall both be ennemies ?

Jean Bart : Calm down. It's about that new shipgirl, or should we say, shipboy.

???4 : What ? Impossible ! There's no way it can happen.

Dunkerque : Then how can you explain this man, then ?

As the girls looked at him, they were shocked that there was indeed a shipboy in front of them.

???5 : Analysis : Anomaly dubbed as "shipboy" has been recognized as real. More research needs to be done for the reasons of his existence.

Richelieu : Now that you're here, we need to go to the meeting room to know his identity.

Jean Bart : And no fighting, at least until we say so. We are in a truce for now. So behave yourselves.

???3 : Very well. I'm quite curious about him, to be honest.

???5 : Order recognized. Initialization of the command begins.

Charles P.O.V

We were in the meeting room. I sat down with everyone else present around a huge table. I must admit that the room looks quite magnificent but there are more important matters right now, I will have time to admire that later.

Charles : So, could we start by introducing yourselves first, because I need names with your pretty faces.

They all blushed after saying that but quickly got rid of it.

Richelieu: Oh, mes excuses. Let us introduce ourselves. I am Richelieu, first battleship of the Richelieu-class and leader of Iris Libre. Ravi de vous rencontrer. (A/N : French words are here on purpose.)

Jean Bart : I am Jean Bart, second battleship of the Richelieu-class and leader of Vichiya Dominion.

Saint Louis : I am Saint Louis, a heavy cruiser of the Saint-Louis class from Iris Libre.

Dunkerque : My name is Dunkerque, I am a battlecruiser from Vichiya Dominion.

Le Triomphant : Bonjour, I am Le Triomphant, a Le Fantasque-class destroyer from Iris Libre.

Le Malin : Le Malin, Le Fantasque-Class destroyer of Vichiya Dominion.

Jeanne d'Arc : Salutations, I am Jeanne d'Arc, a Jeanne d'Arc-class Light Cruiser from Iris Libre.

Algérie: Hi, I am Algérie, an Algérie-class Heavy Cruiser from Vichiya Dominion.

Richelieu: Now that we introduced ourselves, could you do the same ? And could put your hat on the table, so we can see your face

Charles : Of course, it's only fair to do the same. My name is Charles, more known as Charles de Gaulle, the only nuclear Aircraft Carrier of France.

Gascogne : Question : What is a nuclear Aircraft Carrier ?

Charles : A nuclear Aircraft Carrier is a stronger version of an Aircraft Carrier that does not need oil to run but a nuclear reactor instead.

Forbin : You don't need oil, but how long can you last with it ?

Charles : I can pretty much go anywhere without limits for a period between 20-25 years.

Le Mars : You can last that long ? Punaise, that's impressive !

Le Triomphant : What about these weird planes you have, because it doesn't looks like a plane to me.

Charles : It's because they aren't planes but rather helicopters. The difference, apart from their looks, is that planes fly with the lift produced by the airfoil wings and the thrust produced by the engine. An Helicopter, however, flies by the thrust and lift produced by its rotor assembly. Also, the helicopter has the advantage to hover as well as moving forward and backward, useful for rescue missions for example.

Jeanne d'Arc : We saw that you managed to destroy the Siren fleet with only 3 helicopters, as you called them, as well as some cannons, but I can safely assume you have more.

Charles : You're indeed correct about that. Counting those 3 helicopter as well as 2 others and the rest being planes, I have in total 47 planes and helicopters in my arsenal. But I will keep secret about what the rest of the planes are, you never know who is listening. And let's not forget about the missiles I also possess that I have used against that Siren called Purifier.

Béarn : Where do your planes and helicopters comes from ? There are none of those models in all the factions existing, not even the Sirens.

Charles : Because I am from another world as well as from the future.

The girls were shocked by that fact.

Gascogne : Error : Answer is illogical. Explanations are needed to apprehend your case.

Charles : I'm from a world similar to yours but in the future, in the year 2020.

Richelieu: Are there any differences between them ?

Charles : First, there are nothing such as Shipgirls or shipboys. Also, there were no Sirens in my world, only World wars, *frowns* at least that was what I thought.

Jean Bart : *raises her brow* Did the Sirens came to your world ?

Charles : Yeah, one of them, the girl known as Observer Alpha, showed up in front of me, and next, explosions happened, killing my crew as well as my admiral before sinking me. And then I woke up in this world, as a shipboy.

The girls looked at me with sympathy, for what I've been through.

Saint Louis : What are you going to do now ?

Charles : The most likely thing I will do is defend my homeland, France, from any threat. And also take my revenge against Sirens for killing my crew and admiral by launching a mass genocide against them. If they are a threat to humanity, then that's what they deserve.

3rd P.O.V

As Charles answered to the question for his future, the girls saw hatred in his eyes at the moment he said Sirens. But there were curious about one thing.

Richelieu : Well, which faction will you join then ?

Charles : This is complicated because from what I've seen, you are 2 factions supposed to represent the same country, and yet, I can feel you are at the throat of each other, which won't help you defend our country.

Jean Bart : We were in the same faction, once. We were called the Iris Orthodoxy. However, our differences in beliefs caused a split, creating the factions of Iris Libre and Vichiya Dominion.

Charles : This is problematic for me because, if I followed correctly what you said, I would be considered as a member of the Iris Orthodoxy faction, because in my world, France has been unified again after a split because of beliefs and German control which happened 80 years ago. I suppose there are more factions.

Jeanne d'Arc : Yes, there is the Royal Navy, Eagle Union, Dragon Empery and Northen Parliament. With us included, we form Azur Lane. We believe that our weaponry is enough to destroy the Sirens.

Dunkerque: Meanwhile, Vichiya Dominion is part of Crimson Axis alongside Ironblood, Sakura Empire, and Sardegnia Empire. Crimson Axis believe in using the Siren technology to destroy the Sirens.

Charles : *sighs* I don't know who to choose. Would it be possible to visit both Azur Lane and Crimson Axis, so I can make up my mind for the faction I will join.

Richelieu : I suppose it can be possible. We have to call their main bases before to see if they accept.

Jean Bart : I will accompany you in Crimson Axis base. However, Richelieu will accompany you to Azur Lane.

Charles : Très bien, alors. Will this be all ?

Richelieu : For now, yes. Saint Louis, would you mind bringing him to his temporary bedroom, please ?

Saint Louis : Bien sur, follow me, Charles.

Charles gets up and follow Saint Louis out of the room.

I have contacted the Azur Lane base. Needless to say, they were curious about Charles and asked to bring him there as soon as possible. We will most likely to do that tomorrow. But I hope he will join me. He is really powerful and he is very handsome as well. I hope he will become my king one day.

At the same moment, Jean Bart P.O.V

I have finished the call with Crimson Axis. Even if they are busy, they really are eager to meet Charles, and asked me to bring him there in 4 days from now here. I hope we can convince him to join Crimson Axis. His power will be helpful against the Sirens, and I really find him handsome. I will try to gain his love.

Siren world ??:?? ?.M

Observer Alpha P.O.V

I'm starting to get impatient. What is taking Purifier so long to destroy him ? She cannot fail as she had a fleet while he was alone. Speaking of the devil, a portal opened with a heavily injured Purifier.

Observer Alpha : How could you loose ?! You had an entire fleet against one Aircraft Carrier and you managed to loose ! Explain me ! NOW !!!

Purifier: He is... too strong... with 3 weird planes... he completely annihilated the fleet... he even had cannons... and missiles... despite being an Aircraft Carrier... *faint*

No way, did I underestimate him ? It doesn't matter, he was just lucky, I'm pretty sure he cannot defeat me, Project Orochi, and Arbiter. But he could still be a thorn in our plans. Whatever, when he will cross path with me, I will destroy him for good. You better prepare yourself, Aircraft Carrier, because your luck will run out in our next encounter.

1) - make Charles visit both Ironblood and Sakura Empire (note that if you choose this, I will do one chapter in Ironblood and the next one in Sakura Empire).

Or (don't choose that unless you want to fight 999 billion robotic spider version of Thomas the train wielding lasers and chainsaws)

2)- make Charles visit only the Sakura Empire, but Ironblood will also be present there (note that if you choose this, it will be done in 1 chapter).

I will leave the choice to you for how the visit of Crimson Axis will be done.
