Urgh... What happened...?

I was waking up and I was trying to remember what happened. After a while, I remembered that I pushed Richelieu out of the way to protect her from a huge attack from the Creator, only to be hit instead.

I looked around to see everything was black. Did I die ? My thoughts were interrupted as I heard a voice calling me.

??? : It's been a long time, isn't it, Charles ?

I turned around only to see my admiral, but how he is here ? I remembered that he disappeared from my mind after I sunk Observer Alpha.

Charles : How are you here ?

Louis de Gaulle : How I am here isn't important, what matters now is about your condition.

Charles : Wait ! Did I die ?

Louis de Gaulle : You almost died, but you survived.

Charles : How ?

Louis de Gaulle : Well, about that, look at yourself first.

As if on cue, a mirror appeared. As I looked at it, I widen my eyes at my new appearance. I saw myself clothed in a black and red Siren armor going up to my face with a mask. I also had a fur cape on my back. I decided to look back at my admiral to get some answers.

Louis de Gaulle : Your only way of surviving was to inject in you Siren blood, which would turn you in a Siren.

Charles : ...I see. Whose blood was it ?

Louis de Gaulle : It was Arbiter's blood.

Charles : QUOI ?!

Louis de Gaulle : She volunteered to give some of her blood to you as a way to apologize for what happened with the Creator.

Charles : But she did nothing wrong.

Louis de Gaulle : While it's true, she felt guilty about it. And the others, your wives included, didn't objected to this.

Charles : ...

Louis de Gaulle : Are you okay ?

Charles : Yeah... I'm grateful for this... it's just... a lot to process... Is there something else I need to know ?

Louis de Gaulle : Oui. You are actually in the Dreamworld right now.

Charles : The Dreamworld...?

Louis de Gaulle : Yes, a place between all the worlds, or simulations as the Sirens would call, where you can observe all the different worlds. And this where your help will be needed.

Charles : What do I need to do ?

Louis de Gaulle : There is a shipgirl trapped in this Dreamworld. Your goal will be to help her to bring her back to real world. And don't worry about who is it, you will recognize the person you will look for.

I see that he starts to disappear.

Louis de Gaulle : My time has come... I wish you farewell and continue to protect the world.

Charles : I will admiral.

His smile was the last thing I saw before he completely disappeared.

As he disappeared, my surroundings were no longer black, but instead shows a landscape similar to the Sakura Empire but with floating islands as well. And also, I'm on water.

But as I turned around, I saw a humongous rigging looking at me, which scared me.

Charles : OH PUTAIN !!! LA VACHE !!!

I jumped backward when I saw the rigging. While I was frightened by the view, the rigging looked at me with confusion, like if it didn't know why I jumped backwards.

When I looked at it, I saw that it was similar to Arbiter's rigging, but the rigging itself was more a dragon than a shark. He was still looking at me, like it was waiting for me to do something.

I was looking around to see my riggings but I couldn't find them anywhere, there was only that rigging.

Wait... Didn't I became a Siren ? So, does this mean... that THIS rigging is MY rigging ?!

I try to test my theory by hesitantly moving forward my hand to see its reaction. It's rection was to bend his head before moving it again, so my hand would be on his head, almost like it wants headpats.

So, I decided to headpat him. I can hear that he is enjoying it. But I soon stopped, remembering the reason why I was here. It started whimpering.

Charles : As much as I want to headpat you, there is something I need to do, umm... do you even have a name ?

It shook his head.

Charles : How about I give you one ?

It nodded. I thought a bit before coming with an idea.

Charles : How about... Alduin ?

It roared at the name, like it pleases him, before nodding.

Charles : Alduin it is then. Let's go search that shipgirl trapped in this Dreamworld.

It roared before we move around to find that shipgirl.  After a while, we are hearing some cannon shots and explosions, so we went investigating in the direction where those cannon shots and explosions went.

???2 P.O.V

I was still stuck in this world, observing other worlds, or "simulations" as the Sirens called it, to see how I can assure the future of the Sakura Empire and the world against the Sirens.

Between all the worlds I have observed, there was one that was standing out. It was one where there was an Aircraft Carrier from Iris Orthodoxy. But what shocked was that it was a male and it claimed coming from the future.

Feeling curious, I decided to look at this world. The more I look at it, the more surprised I got. First, he managed to unify again Iris Orthodoxy under the new banner of Iris République. Then, he did the same thing with Azur Lane and Crimson Axis. And also, he managed to uncover a truth about the Sirens in this world, going to the point he has made the Advisor-class Sirens join Azur Lane.

But however, I saw that after his fight with Arbiter, the Creator showed up and killed him by sacrificing himself to save Richelieu. But when I thought this world would end, it actually continued. I saw that he was turned in a Siren as a way to save him from death. And the last image I saw of this world was... myself looking at other worlds ? So, there is something more going on.

But as I was about to watch this, I heard a cannon shot. As I looked, I saw some Siren approaching my position. One of them was different, looking like an Advisor-class Siren. I remember seeing her in only one world : the one the Siren refers to the codename "Crosswave".

???3 : Well, well, well. I never thought I would meet Shinano, one of the members of the legendary Yamato-class, in the middle of the Dreamworld.

Shinano : This one's would like to know who you are.

???3 : Well, if you need a name, then, I am Editor, an Advisor-class Siren.

(A/N : She's an actual Siren that has been released with the DLC in Azur Lane Crosswave the October 5th that contained shipgirls such as Taihou, Roon, Formidable, Sirius, Le Malin and more.)

Editor : And now, prepare to face your demise once again.

As the Sirens were about to launch an attack on me, I noticed some Siren planes heading towards my direction, but those Siren planes had really strange designs. But as I looked closely, I saw that their design were similar to the planes that this Aircraft Carrier from Iris République have.

But I was avoiding at the same time all their attacks, causing some explosions behind me. I don't know how long I'm gonna last.

Charles P.O.V

I finally got to the place where the explosions happened. I was surprised to see that even in the Dreamworld, there were Sirens. But those Sirens are completely different from the one I met since they weren't yellow, blue nor purple.

They were instead red, and they were even wearing some futuristic red glasses. But one of them was different. It was stronger than those Sirens, but the power emanating from her was weaker than Arbiter. So, she might be an Advisor-class Siren.

But among them was what seems to be a kitsune, but she also have some riggings. If my assumption is correct, she might be the one my admiral was talking about.

I decided to launch 2 Mirages on the Sirens. When they got launched, I saw that my Mirages have been recolored with Siren colors, but they still kept their original abilities. They dropped the bombs, killing a part of the mass-produced Sirens.

Editor P.O.V

As I was about to shoot once again Shinano, I heard some planes flying above us. I looked up only to see some bombs dropping on us, exploding and killing some mass-produced Sirens.

I got angry and looked to see who did that until my eyes crossed the view of a male Siren !

Hold up ! A Male Siren ?! There is no way that this is possible ! Observer Alpha, Tester Beta and Purifier never told there was any male Siren ! But he try to interrupt my attack !

Editor : Who are you to interrupt my attack ?!

???4 : ...

Editor : Answer me ! I know that you can talk !

???4 : Why should I give you my name ? What do I gain from this ?

Editor : I don't have time for this ! Sirens, attack him !

Charles P.O.V

I saw that some Sirens were going to attack me.  On my way, I discovered that Alduin has sent me data in my brain. Those databases are actually a list of numbers, each one corresponding to a "simulation", or in my terms, world and all the informations about it.

But the data also contained all the modifications I got from the Siren blood injection. So I decided to test this.

Charles : Alduin, change bullet types to black holes.

The modifications were done and Alduin was already charging a black hole, waiting for my command to release it. I waited until those Sirens were at the good distance before firing it.

Charles : FEU !!!

Alduin fired the bullet before turning into a huge black hole swallowing every Siren around before it disappeared, killing all the Sirens trapped in it.

The shipgirl looked with amazement at what happened while the siren called Editor looked in fear. The mass-produced Sirens were already doubting about attacking me.

Editor : What... are... you...?

Charles : A ship turned human that became a Siren to survive...

Editor : There is no way that this is possible !

Charles : Then look at the data of the simulation #19422020. This is where you will find your answers.

Editor : ...Fine ! I'll go see it ! Know that this isn't the end !

Editor created a portal in which she enters to leave while the rest of the mass-produced Sirens teleported away as well.

I looked at the shipgirl, who was looking at me, before starting the conversation.

???2 : So I finally meet you face to face, MNF Charles de Gaulle.

Charles : Do you mind introducing yourself ?

???2 : Of course. I am Shinano, 3rd member of the Yamato-class.

I never thought I would meet a legendary ship, but here I am.

Charles : Then, Shinano, how do you know about me ?

Shinano : Well, this one has been traveling through numerous dreams to find a way to save the world. Then, this one came across your world which was really unique compared to what this one saw.

Charles : You mean about the Siren's situation ?

Shinano : This, and the fact you became a Leader-class Siren.

Charles : What do you- Oh, it is because Arbiter gave some of her blood to me, isn't it ?

Shinano : Yes, this and your enormous power that you still hold back.

Charles : So you know... But since I became a
Leader-class Siren, I would need a new name that I can use whenever I am under that form.

Shinano : What would it be then ?

Charles : Let me think a bit...

After a few minutes, I finally found an idea.

Charles : I found it. My Siren name shall be Executioner I : The Judge.

Shinano : This one's suppose this is fitting for everything you have done until now.

Charles : True.

And we ended up continuing our conversation.

(A/N : From now on, each time you see Executioner instead of Charles in front of a quote, this means Charles is in his Siren Form and he will be referred as such.

However, if you see Charles in front of a quote, this means Charles is in his Human Form.)

I can't believe this male Siren made me retreat when we clearly had the superiority in numbers.

And now, I need to look at the data of the simulation #19422020 to know about his origins.

Thanks that Google exists, I would have much more difficulties to find it. So anyway, here goes nothing about this simulation.

I can't believe what I saw. This male Siren was actually an Aircraft Carrier from the Iris République. And he was also the one that could save the Sirens from the Creator. And I just attacked him. I facepalmed at this mistake.

But it didn't go unnoticed by the Dreamworld Sirens, who approached me to see what's going on.

Dreamworld Siren 1 : Wait ! Isn't this guy the one we fought just earlier ?

Dreamworld Siren 2 : Yeah ! But he seems to be the one who will free the Sirens !

Dreamworld Siren 3 : Is that true ?

Editor : It is. He got Arbiter's attention after all. And if he got Arbiter on his side, who know how long it will take for the other Leader-class Sirens to learn about him and to go see him.

Dreamworld Siren 4 : So, shall we go back to see him ?

Editor : Yeah, we should. I still have an apology to do.

We opened a portal back to where Shinano and Charles were.

Back to Executioner and Shinano :

3rd P.O.V

As Executioner and Shinano were talking, a portal is opening in front of them. Both of them were standing ready for a fight, and same for Alduin readying his cannons, waiting for Executioner's order.

A figure exited the portal, revealing to be Editor. But several Dreamworld Sirens came out of the portal as well. However, this time, they didn't have any intention to attack. Despite that, Executioner's rigging was still aiming at them, in the case they try something.

Executioner : I take it you have found the answers you were searching for.

Editor : Yes. So, you really are THE MNF Charles de Gaulle ?

Executioner : Indeed, at least in my human form. In my Siren form, I now go under the name of Executioner I : The Judge, Leader-class Siren. But just call me Executioner for short.

Shinano : So, what are you gonna do now ?

Executioner : Well, unless my body wakes up, I cannot do much, since my mind is stuck in the Dreamworld for now.

However, as Executioner said that, his body is starting to become transparent.

Shinano : Looks like you don't need to wait anymore. You're getting transparent, so this means your body is waking up.

Executioner : Yeah. Editor, please send me the data containing the coordinates of the Dreamworld, so I can bring you all back to the real world.

Editor : Roger that. See you soon.

That was the last thing that Executioner heard before he completely disappeared from the Dreamworld.

Meanwhile in Charles's world A.K.A Simulation #19422020

3rd P.O.V

In a room of the medbay, we could see 2 persons. The first one being Charles, or rather Executioner I : The Judge since he is in his Siren Form, and Richelieu. Both were asleep.

Speaking of her, Richelieu was always at his side, waiting for her husband to wake up. She felt guilty for what happened to him since he saved her from a lethal attack. Even though the others reminded her that he said he will protect his country and his patriots no matter what, just like he did with her.

Everyone did come to see him as well, hoping he would wake up soon, especially his wives and brothers that were worried. But that worry would stop as Charles/Executioner will come back.

Charles/Executioner P.O.V

After what seems an eternity, I finally woke up. I looked to see that I was still in my Siren form. Good thing I learned from the data that I can change my appearance however I like, so I can simply switch between my Human and Siren Form. But I still need my Siren Form to bring them back.

I looked around to see if there was anyone. The only person I saw was my wife Richelieu, who was sleeping on a chair, her head on my left leg.

Suddenly, the door of my room opened. A person entered. It was Arbiter. As she closed the door, she looked on the bed where I am, only to realize that I woke up.

Arbiter : Thank God, you woke up.

Executioner : I actually just woke up. So, what happened ?

Arbiter : Well, after you almost died. Most of the people helped to fortify the defenses of the base, while we are researching a way to bypass the Creator's skill that negates everyone's skill.
But everyone was worried about your condition, and without exception.

Executioner : What about Richelieu ?

Arbiter : Well, she was there almost all the time, to wait for you to wake up, and to the cost of ignoring her own health. Good thing your brothers and your wives saw it and watch over her to make sure she doesn't overdo it.

Executioner : Well, let's wake her up then.

I focused on my transformation to turn back into my Human Form. As I finished the transformation, I decided to kiss her forehead. It worked because she started moving before stretching her arms. She opened groggily her eyes, not fully waken up.

Richelieu : Oh, Bonjour mon amour...

I waited for her to fully wake up. I made a countdown in my head.

...

She still hasn't fully woken up. I should have made my countdown longer.

But as she fully opened her eyes, she widen them while some tears where threatening to escape.

Richelieu : MON CHÉRI !!!

She throw herself at me to give me a hug. She had a very strong grip right now, but this is understandable, because since I almost died, she really wanted to hug me very tightly, to make sure I was still there and to never let go.

I was caressing her hair, while whispering words such as "it's okay", "I'm here", and even "I'm not going anywhere" while she was crying. It lasted a few minutes before she calmed down.

Richelieu : ...I was so scared... that you would die...

Charles : I won't lie, I was scared myself, but I managed to survive thanks to Arbiter.

Arbiter : Don't worry about that. It was a way to apologize for not anticipating the Creator's apparition.

Charles : I'm pretty sure no one would have anticipated this. So, let's forget that.

Arbiter nodded.

Charles : By the way, what is the state of my ship right now ?

Richelieu : The repairs were done very quickly, maybe because of your newly Siren blood.

Charles : Oh yeah, I still need to get accustomed to this.

Arbiter : Why do you need to know this ?

Charles : Because I need to use it. As for why, let's say I need to bring some people back to reality.

I started to get up. Richelieu understood what I wanted to do and helped me in the process. After that, we went towards the harbor.

Charles/Executioner P.O.V

I got to the harbor with Richelieu and Arbiter. On my way there, some girls were minding their own business until they looked in my direction. As they saw I was awake, their eyes widen before they went running somewhere, most likely to tell everyone that I woke up.

Before I transformed in my Siren form, I looked back to see that everyone on the base showed up to see if I was truly awake. I waved at them.

Charles : Bonjour tout le monde. My apologies if I worried you back there, but now I'm back.

I could see that my wives, my brothers as well as the faction leaders approached me. My wives gave me a quick affectionate hug accompanied by a kiss while my brothers gave me a manly hug.

Enterprise : While it's nice see you're all right, what are you doing already out of the medbay ?

Charles : I need my ship for something.

Bismarck : For what ?

Charles : To bring someone back to the real world.

They were puzzled by my answer, until I decided to change into my Siren Form. As I changed in my Siren form, so did my ship to take the form of Alduin.

As I finished my transformation, Alduin roared to show he's back before looking back at Executioner, scaring the others at the length of this beast made of steel.

Executioner : Change your bullets to portals and start aiming at the sea.

He turned around and started to aim.

Executioner : Prepare to launch a portal to create a pathway to Simulation #0, codename "Dreamworld".

The cannon charged up.

Executioner : FEU !!!

The cannon fired a blue ball before exploding in the air, creating a portal. I shouted to the portal.

Executioner : It's time for you to come back to reality !

3rd P.O.V

As Executioner shouted, a figure could be seen coming out of the portal. It was Shinano.

Executioner : Let me introduce her to you. This is one of the member of the legendary Yamato-class : IJN Shinano.

Shinano : Hello, everyone. This one's is glad to be back here.

Everyone was shocked to hear her name, especially the Sakura Empire.

As if they weren't surprised enough, another figure emerged from the portal. This time it was a Siren. Most of the people tensed at her apparition and started to aim at her. But Executioner held his hand in his air to let him explain.

Executioner : Before you gonna shoot, let me introduce her. She is Editor, an Advisor-class Siren.

Editor : Hello everyone.

She then noticed Observer Alpha, Tester Beta and Purifier.

Editor : There you are girls. Do you recognize me ?

Observer Alpha : I don't even know who you are.

Purifier : Who's that simp ?

Tester Beta : I have no data on her.

Editor : *sad Siren noises*

Arbiter : Where does she come from, Charles ?

Executioner : She was actually spotted in only one simulation other than the Dreamworld. It was in the Simulation #449, codenamed "Crosswave".

All the Sirens except Editor : Oh.

Executioner : Also, call me Charles only if I am in my Human Form. Since I am in my Siren Form, you should use my Siren name.

Queen Elizabeth : Which is ?

Executioner : Executioner I : The Judge, but just call me Executioner whenever I am in this form.

Tester Beta/Gascogne : Data about Charles's Siren Form updated.

Executioner : Also, Editor, do you mind if I ask you why you send me a file called "Tester Beta Retrofit" ?

Tester Beta : Wait, what ?

Editor : Well, I was supposed to bring this data to this world to test it out, but since you were from that simulation, I gave it to you.

Executioner : Alright. Are you ready, Tester ?

Tester Beta : Yus.

Executioner : Alright. Also, Arbiter, prepare to receive the data from by combat abilities.

Arbiter : Alright.

Executioner started the process to retrofit Tester Beta. She soon got engulfed by a white light that lasted for a minute. After the light disappeared, Tester Beta's appearance has changed.

(A/N : From now on, this is Tester Beta's new look. Her rigging is still the same but does more damage and is stronger.)

Tester Beta : I feel stronger. I need to test that later.

Purifier : Boo ! Why didn't I got a retrofit ?! Executioner, I want a retrofit !

Executioner : I have nothing in my data about "Purifier's Retrofit". But I suppose I can give you this.

Executioner took an AK-12 and gave it to Purifier.

Author : Everyone gangsta until Purifier gets the AK-12 and starts shooting everything.

Purifier : What's this ?

Executioner : This is a AK-12, a rifle that was given to me by a certain Russian Aircraft Carrier from the Simulation #19432030, codenamed "Shtorm". Sadly, I didn't found any occasions to use it, so I decided to give it to someone who can use it more often.

Purifier : So, I can shoot things with it to kill them ?

Observer Alpha : *sarcastic* No, you use it to paint your nails.

Purifier : Nice sarcasm. I can't wait to shoot some enemies with it. Thanks, Executioner.

Executioner : You're welcome.

Jean Bart : So... what are we gonna do now ?

Executioner : I still need to train to master my Siren Form. But that can be done in a Mirror Sea that I can create.

Akagi : Wait ! YOU CAN CREATE MIRROR SEAS ?!

Arbiter : Well, all Leader-class Sirens can do that. I will talk about the other Leader-class Sirens later.

Amagi : That would be logical. After all, there cannot be only one Leader-class Siren existing.

Executioner : Yeah. But for now, I shall train to get accustomed to my new form.

Arbiter : I will help you master it.

Executioner : I'll accept the help.

After that, Executioner turned back into his human form, so they could spend some time together before starting the training.
