Azur Lane Base, 2 days after the destruction of Orochi :

3rd P.O.V

The Royal Navy, Eagle Union, Sakura Empire and Ironblood were all together in the Azur Lane base. They were preparing the papers to sign the new Azur Lane treaty to get back together before going to Iris République's Headquarters in the Mozambicain Strait.

After the destruction of Orochi, Iris République went back to to their main base. Amagi stayed with the Sakura Empire to spend time with them, especially with Akagi, Kaga and Tosa. Littorio went back to the Sardegnia Empire to report what happened with Orochi before going back to Iris République. Needless to say that Vittorio Venito was surprised of the power of the Iris République, especially Charles that managed to destroy by himself the 5 Orochis.

Now, we can see Nagato, Bismarck, Enterprise and Queen Elizabeth with the rest of their corresponding factions. They are ready to go to the Basilica, after they chose a few representatives to come with them to represent their nation.

Queen Elizabeth : Thank you everyone for coming here on such a short notice.

Bismarck : The reason we are here is to choose a few girls from each faction to represent them with us for the treaty we're going to sign with Iris République.

All the girls were whispering about who would be chosen, and hoped they will go to the Mozambicain Strait.

Queen Elizabeth : For the Royal Navy, I choose Warspite, Belfast, Hood, Prince of Wales and Illustrious to accompany me.

The mentionned girls smiled while the rest pouted.

Enterprise : For the Eagle Union : Cleveland, Benson, North Carolina, Lexington and Baltimore will join me.

Those chosen by Enterprise screamed "YES !!!" while the rest shouted "DAMMIT !!!".

Nagato : To represent the Sakura Empire, I choose Mikasa, Amagi, Akagi, Kaga and Takao.

Mikasa, Amagi, Kaga and Takao smiled when they heard their names, the rest being sad for not coming. However, Akagi's smile was crazed as she was thinking about Charles, wanting to claim him, unknown to everyone.

Bismarck : As for Ironblood, those who are coming with me are Graf Zeppelin, Admiral Hipper, Z23, U-556 and Prinz Eugen.

The chosen girls made a victory smile while the rest were bummed about it.

Queen Elizabeth : To all the girls coming with us, please prepare yourselves as we're leaving the base tomorrow to go sign the treaty to bring Azur Lane back together in the Mozambican Strait.

Representatives : YES !!!/HAI !!!/JAWOHL !!!

Queen Elizabeth, Bismarck, Enterprise and Nagato were waiting for the representatives to get to the harbor so they can leave to the Basilica. It didn't took long for everyone to show up.

Enterprise : Is everyone here ?

The representatives : YES !!!

Bismarck : Then, let us depart now.

Later in the day, entrance of the Mozambicain Strait

The coalition group just entered the Mozambicain Strait. They were admiring the scenery, except Illustrious as she has already been there with Fortune, Richelieu, Jeanne d'Arc, Béarn, Le Téméraire and L'Opiniâtre where they faced Algérie, Vauquelin and La Galisonnière during the events of Skybound Oratorio.

Baltimore : You aren't seem fazed by the beautiful scenery, Illustrious.

Illustrious : Well, I have already been there with Fortune with some members of Iris Libre to take back the control of the Basilica against Ironblood and the Sirens. And we fought Algérie, Vauquelin and La Galissonnière there.

Bismarck : I never sent anyone from my faction there.

Illustrious : Well, we never saw any Ironblood girls at that time, but they were two Sakura Empire submarines there.

Nagato : Who were they ?

Illustrious : They were I-26 and I-58 if I remember correctly.

Prinz Eugen : Yes, I remember. They came to our base after that. We had to give them a secret message for the Sakura Empire.

Takao : Yeah, that's what happened.

I was waiting on the harbor for the four main factions to arrive as my Panther sent me a message that they were approaching the base. I changed the settings of the turrets so they don't shoot the members of Azur Lane and Crimson Axis. Richelieu and Jean Bart were with me right now.

Jean Bart : Where are they right now ?

Charles : A few miles away from the harbor from what my Panther sent me.

Richelieu : Today will be the day when we will finally all unite against one common enemy : the Sirens.

Charles : We still have to unite with us the Sardegnia Empire and the Northen Parliament. Normally, I should go soon to the Sardegnia Empire as Vittorio Venito wants to meet me.

Jean Bart : Who will you choose to come with you ?

Charles : I'm still debating as they are more important matters right now. But I will tell you who will come after I made my mind.

They nodded at that.

Back to the coalition fleet :

3rd P.O.V

They finally saw the Basilica. Illustrious was surprised to see the Basilica in all its splendor. After all, after the Skybound Oratorio events, the Basilica was in a pitiful state. And now, here it is looking completely brand new, like nothing ever happened there.

The other girls were scared at the turrets defending it. After all, those turrets shoots very powerful artillery, not even the submarines are safe from them. They were glad that they weren't aiming them.

They finally get to the harbor, where they saw Charles, along with Richelieu and Jean Bart waiting for them.

Charles : Bienvenue to you all. I hope the travel went smoothly.

Queen Elizabeth : It went well.

Richelieu : Good to know. Are the rest of the people the representatives you chose to accompany you ?

Bismarck : That's exact. Is everything ready to sign the treaty ?

Jean Bart : It is. We are just waiting for you. Now follow us to the meeting room.

Everyone : Right ! Jawohl ! Hai !

Charles P.O.V

We were all in the meeting room, sat down around a circular table. Enterprise and Queen Elizabeth with their representatives were on the right side while Bismarck, Nagato and their representatives were on my left. I was sat between Richelieu and Jean Bart.

Charles : Welcome everyone. We are all here today to bring back Azur Lane together. Let's see if everyone is here. Queen Elizabeth ?

Queen Elizabeth : Here. And I came with Warspite, Belfast, Hood, Prince of Wales and Illustrious.

They nodded.

Charles : Good. Enterprise ?

Enterprise : Present. And I'm here with Benson, North Carolina, Lexington, Cleveland and Baltimore.

They responded with a "Here !"

Charles : Great. Nagato ?

Nagato : I am here. And I asked Mikasa, Amagi, Akagi, Kaga and Takao to be here as well.

They bowed to show their presence.

Charles : Very well. Bismarck ?

Bismarck : Right here. Z23, Admiral Hipper, Prinz Eugen, U-556 and Graf Zeppelin are also there to accompany me.

They saluted.

Charles : So almost everyone is here. God and Satan ?

Illustrious : Wait, what ?

God : I am here.

Satan : I'm over there.

They looked to see him standing there, looking formal.

The leaders gave me their paper. I saw that they only one demand, but it was the same : making the Basilica the main HQs of Azur Lane.

Charles : Is there any particular reason why you want our base to become the main base of Azur Lane ?

Queen Elizabeth : Well, first, it would be because the defenses of this base are quite strong and can push off the Sirens without problems.

Nagato : The fact that the base isn't in one of the countries we represent gives a vibe of equality. No one can feel superior unlike if the base was in one of our country.

Jean Bart : ... You raise good points, but we need time to build your respective dormitory. I hope you understand that.

Enterprise : Yes. We can wait at our base the time you build it.

Bismarck : We can use that time to tell the others to prepare themselves to go live here.

Richelieu : That seems acceptable to me.

Charles : Very well. Let me sign it before giving it back. *signs the paper* And now, it is your turn.

They sign it as well before giving it back to me.

Charles : Then, it's official. I hereby declare that Azur Lane is whole again.

Azur Lane : YAY !!!

Charles : Well, I won't waste time. I'll ask the Manjuus to start the construction. We'll send you a message once they have been finished.

Nagato : Very well. We will wait for your message.

3rd P.O.V

It has been a week since the Manjuus started building the dorms for each faction. The girls from the other factions started coming there as some rooms were ready to welcome them. For now, only the representatives that were present for signing the treaty are here. But it won't take a lot of time for everyone to be present there.

Right now, we can see Charles with the other Iris République girls drinking coffee with some biscuits coming right from the city of Nantes.
They were eating them while enjoying the conversations about various subjects :

They were pretty much enjoying the beginning of the afternoon, especially Richelieu and Jean Bart that were leaning their head on Charles's shoulders, profiting of the time spent together whenever the Sirens aren't attacking, and then fleeing after seeing Charles shouting sentences such as "PURGE THE HERETICS !!!", "REPENT FOR YOUR SINS !!!" or even "BEGONE !!!".

Everything was going well until Charles was interrupted by a beeping sound.

Charles : Huh ? *looked at the radar*

Richelieu : Something's wrong, mon chéri ?

Charles : Ouais, I got a SOS Signal. I gotta prepare myself.

Jean Bart : Where is it ?

Charles : The signal is emitted from the Mediterranean Sea, not far from Toulon.

Jean Bart : I'll come with you.

Richelieu : Same for me.

Charles : I see. Do you mind if you can watch over the Basilica while we're gone, Dunkerque, Algérie ?

Dunkerque/Algérie : Of course !/Leave it to us !

Charles : Merci beaucoup. Let's hurry up.

Richelieu/Jean Bart : Right.

We are approaching the place where the SOS Signal was sent. It didn't took long before we see the origin of the signal : an Aircraft Carrier.
For some reason, it feels familiar to me, but that can wait because they are Sirens approaching. They are still attacking despite the destruction of the Orochis and the disappearance of Purifier, Tester Beta and Observer Alpha.

Charles : Girls, let's transform to destroy those Sirens.

Skill activation : Divine Protection

Skill activation : Siren Killer X

Skill activation : Enfants de la Patrie

We turned into rigging mode. While I prepare my planes, Richelieu and Jean Bart already shoot their salvoes which destroyed already a quarter of the Siren Fleet. Their AA does a good job to get rid of the planes menacing them. A few minutes later, my planes were ready.

Charles : Get back ! I'll finish it !

Richelieu/Jean Bart : Bien reçu !

I launched 2 Mirages who dropped the bombs on the rest of the Siren Fleet.

Siren 1 : ARGHHHH !!!

Siren 65 : NOOOOO !!!

Siren 441 : *Siren pain noises*

All the Sirens died. They couldn't stand the power of God's chosen faction. Now that's done, let's go see who is this Aircraft Carrier. I went to the hull to see its identification. When I saw it, I widen my eyes as I saw the number on it :

"R98"

How is it possible ? He was scrapped 10 years ago, how can he be here ? I slapped myself to see if I was dreaming. Even after doing that, the ship was still here in front of me. I must have stared at it so long that Richelieu and Jean Bart approached me because I wasn't moving, which worried them.

Richelieu : Something wrong, chéri ? You were staring with widen eyes at the ship.

Charles : That identification, I recognize it.

Jean Bart : Wait, you mean he is from the same world and time as you ?

Charles : Yeah, but he is actually older than me.

Richelieu : So, do you know it's identity ?

Charles : Oui. There's only one ship with that identification. It's my brother, Clémenceau. Let's search in the ship for him before more Sirens come here.

Richelieu/Jean Bart : D'accord !

3rd P.O.V

Jean Bart went searching on the lower levels while Richelieu went on the upper floors. Charles went into the commander's desk. Charles entered the commander's room only to see a man on the bed. He went to see if he's alive, and was reassured that he is only unconscious. He took the man with him and regrouped with Richelieu and Jean Bart.

Richelieu : Looks like you find him.

Jean Bart : He looks good, but he can't beat mon amour in terms of beauty.

Charles : *smirks* Heh. I'll remember that. *serious* But let's get back to business. We have to bring him back to the Basilica. I'm gonna launch my Panther, as well as my Caimans and Dauphins to help for protection.

Richelieu : Let's pull him together. Charles, do you mind if you bring him in your room ?

Charles : Pas du tout.

Jean Bart : Let's not waste time.

Meanwhile at the Basilica :

Akagi P.O.V

Hehehe~ I finally managed to get my hand on a Oath Ring that I will give to Charles. If he doesn't want, then I will force him to. But those Richelieu and Jean Bart are way too close to him in my opinion. Oh well, I will get rid of them. Their love to him cannot compare to mine. He will be mine... heheheheheh... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!

Kaga : What are you doing, Sister ?

Akagi : Huh ? Oh, just preparing to oath Charles, even if this means getting rid of those pesky vixens~.

Kaga : You shouldn't. This is a really bad idea.

Akagi : Yeah, a bad idea for them to be in my way.

Amagi : And a very bad idea to do whatever you are doing.

Akagi : Amagi-nee-san ?!

Amagi : You won't do that. Trying to oath him with your mindset is the same thing as asking for death. And let's not forget that he has already been oathed.

Urgh... I started to wake up to find myself in a bed. I tried to remember what happened. I was somehow in the middle of the sea and the last thing I saw where weird looking girls with white hair and yellow eyes attacking me. And now, I am in what looks like a cabin. As I wondered more about the situation, I heard the door opening, and a man entered. He looked surprised.

??? : You have already awakened ?

Clémenceau : Yeah. Can I ask you who you are ?

??? : I'll let you guess : Who was the one who replaced you ?

Clémenceau : What do you mean ? There is only one ship- wait. Charles, is that you ?!

Charles : I'm glad to see you again, frérot.

Clémenceau : Indeed. I'm glad to see you again.

Charles : Yeah, although I don't know how you got here. I mean, you were scrapped 10 years ago. How can you be here ? Nevermind that, what is important is to be by your side again.

Clémenceau : Can I ask you what is the situation ?

Charles : Yeah, but it will take some time to explain.

Charles has told Clémenceau everything that happened until now : from Charles's appearance in this world to the return of the true Azur Lane, while mentioning the Sirens and the fact that they are girls that are reincarnations of WW2 ships.

Clémenceau : Punaise... that's quite a lot to take.

Charles : Indeed.

Suddenly, the door opened, and Richelieu and Jean Bart entered.

Richelieu : I see you are awake.

Jean Bart : You we're trying to cross the border, right ?

Author : Crap, wrong script. Let's get back to the story.

Jean Bart : You don't know how happy he was when we found you.

Clémenceau : Who are you ?

Richelieu : I am Richelieu, 1st battleship of the Richelieu-class and member of Iris République.

Jean Bart : I am Jean Bart, Richelieu's sister and 2nd Richelieu-class battleship, as well as a member of Iris République.

Clémenceau : Nice to meet you. Wait, Iris République ? I thought it was Iris Libre and Vichiya Dominion.

Charles : It was until I came along and managed to bring them back together under the same banner of Iris République.

Clémenceau : I see.

Jean Bart : And it's nice to meet our brother-in-law.

Clémenceau : Yeah... Wait, what ? Brother-in-law ?! Charles, are you married ?!

Charles : Yeah, Richelieu and Jean Bart asked my hand in marriage and I accepted. I'm truly glad to have them as my wives.

Richelieu/Jean Bart : And we couldn't more proud to have you as our husband.

Clémenceau : Hehehe... You surely have grown up since I was scrapped.

Charles : Yeah... although it was hard to move on, I continue to do my best to protect peace in my world... Now, we can do the same together here, and this is our duty, after all.

Richelieu : What are you going to do now, Clémenceau ?

Clémenceau : I think it would be best that I join you to defeat those Sirens.

Jean Bart : So, you're going to join Iris République ?

Clémenceau : Yeah, that's the best course of action. And after all, I can talk to mon frère again.

Charles : Then, as the leader of Iris République, I officially welcome you in our faction.

Clémenceau : Wait, you're Iris République leader as well ?!

Richelieu : Yes, he is.

Jean Bart : We actually chose him as the leader. He brought us together again, and he is the link to our unity.

Clémenceau : How many surprises have you still in your sleeve, Charles ?

Charles : Honestly, I don't know. It depends on how easy it is to surprise you.

Clémenceau : I see. So where are we going ?

Richelieu : We are going to our base, the Basilica in the Mozambicain Strait. It will become the new main headquarters for the reunited Azur Lane.

Jean Bart : We just passed the Strait of Gibraltar. We won't take long before we arrive to the base, so rest up a bit.

Clémenceau : You're right. Wake me up when September ends.

Charles : We will. Go rest up, now.

Clémenceau went back to rest in the bed. Meanwhile, Charles is thinking about how to spend some time with his brother whenever he will have the time. But most of all, they will stop the Siren threat together and bring peace back to this world.

It is really great : from simple walking to visit the Secret Base V3 at Mimoyecques and the Totd Blockhaus since I like history, especially when it comes to WW2.
