3rd P.O.V

It has been a few weeks since Charles has started researching for improvements of the weaponry for the rest of the Iris République.
He has started by fixing Jean Bart's cannon, which didn't took very long. And now, Jean Bart can finally use her full power against her foes, finally regaining the power she lost to match her sister's firepower.
After that, he decided to improve the armements of everyone to make them do more damage more quickly. It becomes obvious that Iris République's power has tremendously increased, enough to catch up to the firepower of the main factions.
The Destroyers as well as Surcouf got stronger torpedoes, the Cruisers got better Guns and AA Guns. Béarn got more powerful planes, inspired from Charles's planes. As for Dunkerque, Gascogne, Richelieu and Jean Bart, their shells are deadlier.
It is safe to say that now, the Iris République shall never be looked down ever again, as they have enough power to destroy the Sirens more easily.

However, the same cannot be said for Ironblood and the Royal Navy, as they were victims of the wrath of Charles.

Ironblood main HQs, the day after the defeat against Charles - 6:26 P.M

Tirpitz P.O.V

I was waiting for my Schwester and her fleet to come back on the harbor, with Z23 and Z1 at my side. I was starting to get worried because she is taking way too much time than I like her to do about the Vichiya Dominion case. They apparently knew that we were working with the Sirens, and decided to put them to silence, despite I warned her that it was a bad idea to attack them since Charles clearly stated when they met that he will defend his homeland, no matter what or who is in his way.

Z23 : What is taking them so long ?

Tirpitz : I'm afraid that Charles might heard that Bismarck was going to attack Vichiya Dominion, maybe because Jean Bart told him that.

Z1 : Do you think they will win against them ?

Tirpitz : Honestly, no.

Z1: WHAT ?! But, we have the best technology here. How can they possibly loose ?!

Tirpitz : Maybe it is the case, but remember that Charles is from the future. This means he has more advanced armements, even more than the Sirens. Also, if he could defeat easily Purifier and her fleet while holding back, then Bismarck and her fleet would be a child's play for him.

Z23 : As much as it hurt to hear that, this seems like the most likely aftermath that Bismarck will loose.

I looked back at the sea and I could finally see them. But even though I knew the outcome, I was still shocked by the damage the fleet has taken, it was a miracle that they can still somehow sail. We run to them as they were docking on the harbor, the Manjuus rushing to the ships to start repairing them.

Tirpitz : Schwester, are you okay ?

Bismarck : No... I need- *loses consciousness*

Tirpitz : *mind* All the damage he did to them, and yet, it feels like he was holding back.

I looked at the rest of the fleet that lost consciousness as well.

Tirpitz : Hurry up, girls ! Let's bring them to the medical bay !

Me, the girls and some of the Manjuus started to bring them to the infirmary.

I was waking up. I looked around and I saw that I was in the medical bay of Ironblood. I think I lost consciousness after arriving at the harbor. I saw that my Schwester was sleeping on the chair next to me. I gently touched her shoulder and then...

Tirpitz : FEGELIEN !!! FEGELEIN !!! FEGELEIN !!!

Author : The hell is this ?!

Hitler : NEIN !!! NEIN !!! NEIN !!! NEIN !!! NEIN !!!

Author : SHUT UP !!! *shoots Hitler in the head*

Hitler : *dying Führer noises*

Author : We did it boys. The Third Reich is no more. Now, back to the story.

Tirpitz : Hmm ? *unknown waking noises* Schwester, you're awake ?!

Bismarck : Yeah, could you tell me what happened to me and the rest ?

Tirpitz : We saw you in a very bad state. So we bring you to the medical bay. You and the others are okay now, but you need rest. Friedrich is taking care of them right now. But could I ask you what happened in Vichiya Dominion ?

Bismarck : Well, we went there because we heard that Charles had slapped Kaga and we wanted to know why. Turns out they discovered that we were working with the Sirens. So, I decided to put them in silence by sinking them.

Tirpitz : THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU ?!?! Why are you working with the Sirens ?! But that's beside the point, continue the story.

Bismarck : Me and my fleet almost sunk them until some missiles exploded on us. Next thing I knew, Charles was here and he wasn't very happy about what we did.

Tirpitz : Of course he would be, you're attacking his homeland. I'm surprised you're still alive.

As Bismarck was going to speak, the door opened, showing Friedrich der Grosse entering.

Friedrich der Grosse : There you are, my child. I was listening to your conversation and I got curious. I decided to join, could you continue that story now ?

Bismarck : Well, after Charles appeared, everything went south for us.

Friedrich der Grosse : How bad was it ?

Bismarck : He can resist Roon's attacks without difficulty, but that's nothing compared to what he did to Deutschland's rigging.

Tirpitz : What did he do ?

Bismarck : Not only he could catch it with his bare hands, but he also broke it in two, with sheer force alone.

Tirpitz/Friedrich der Grosse : WHAT ?!?!

Bismarck : Our riggings were so scared they left a stain of oil on the sea.

Tirpitz/Friedrich der Grosse : *mind* Good thing we stayed here.

Bismarck : And then, he used some planes that he called the BRRRRRTTTTT !!!

Tirpitz : What the hell is that kind of name ?

Bismarck: It's because of the sound it makes. It hurts so much.

Friedrich der Grosse : How are you still alive, then ?

Bismarck : He actually gave mercy and let me leave, but however, if I start again, then he won't have any mercy against us.

Tirpitz : *sighs* Just rest for now. Friedrich will watch over you for now. I hope you have learned what happened if you threaten his homeland. And I'm also disappointed in you for working with Sirens. *leaves the room*

I can't believe I forgot that Charles is protective of his homeland. But what should I do now ?I'm starting to wonder if it was a good idea to help the Sakura Empire build Project Orochi. The more I think about it, the more I feel like it was the wrong choice. What have I done ? I'm starting to regret to ally myself with Akagi and Kaga. I hope that Charles will forgive me for that mistake.

In the room next to Bismarck's one :

Admiral Hipper P.O.V

Hurg... I started to open my eyes, though it was hard. I found myself in a bed, most likely in the Ironblood due to color of the walls. I tried to sit on the bed. It hurt a lot but I managed. I saw that my Schwester was there, still asleep just like Graf Zeppelin, Roon, Graf Spee and Deutschland. Deutschland was the one in the worst condition. I heard groans and saw that Schwester woke up.

Prinz Eugen : *groans* What happened... ?

Admiral Hipper : SCHWESTER !!!

Prinz Eugen : Not so loud... jeez... Are we in Ironblood... ?

Admiral Hipper : Yeah, apparently.

Prinz Eugen : Did we won against Vichiya ?

Admiral Hipper : No, we lost, even Bismarck was severely injured against Charles. But Deutschland was the one who took it the worst.

Prinz Eugen : What do you... Oh, I remember now... Didn't her rigging got shred in half by him ?

Admiral Hipper : Yeah... It was a miracle that he didn't decided to sink us... Although that was our fault for attacking the equivalent of his homeland...

Prinz Eugen : ...Did we make the good choice ?

Admiral Hipper : What do you mean...?

Prinz Eugen : Siding with the Sirens... was it a good idea...?

Admiral Hipper : Honestly, no... but we didn't have the choice in the matter since it was Her Kommandant's decision... Do you think she will reconsider her decision...?

Prinz Eugen : ...It might be possible... especially after that one-sided fight against Charles...

I thought about that matter. The Sirens were supposed to be our ennemies, and yet we have sided with them because of the Sakura Empire's plan. I don't know what I am supposed to do now.

Meanwhile at Azur Lane HQs :

3rd P.O.V

Enterprise was waiting on the harbor for the Royal Navy's return with Javelin, Laffey and Monarch at her side. Enterprise thought that Queen Elizabeth's view on the Iris Libre was questionable at best. Iris Libre helped them a lot but when they needed help, she only sent mass-produced ships, which weren't very helpful.

The fact that Iris Libre sent less reports displeased her, which lead to her going to their territory. Enterprise wanted to help them by sending a few girls there to help them, but Queen Elizabeth insisted by telling her that she would be the one helping them, making her back down.

It made Enterprise regret that she didn't responded back to her at that time.
As she looked in front of her, she saw the Royal Navy coming back, although they were in a pretty bad shape.

Enterprise : Looks like we need help from the Manjuus.

Javelin : Why do you- *eyes widens* What happened ?!

Javelin understood why after seeing the state of Queen Elizabeth's fleet.

Laffey : ...ZZZZ.... Huh ?

As they docked, The girls as well as some Manjuus take them to the infirmary while the rest take care of the repairs.

Queen Elizabeth P.O.V

I finally woke up in a bed. I tried to remember what happened. I realized that we all lose to Charles and both Iris Libre and Vichiya Dominion. How dare he destroy my magnificent fleet. My thoughts were interrupted when the door opened and saw Monarch entering the room. She noticed that I was awake and decided to start a conversation.

Monarch : So, you are awake ? Do you mind explaining what happened at Iris Libre ?

Queen Elizabeth : It is Charles's fault !!! He attacked us with Vichiya Dominion !!! And Iris Libre joined them to destroy us !!!

Monarch : *glares* What have you done to make them attack you ?! I'm pretty sure they didn't attacked you for absolutely no reasons !!!

Queen Elizabeth : *starts sweating* Hum... nothing ! Nothing at all !

Monarch : *grits teeth* I know you're lying ! SO, SAY THAT DAMN TRUTH !!!

I was surprised by the outburst. Knowing that it will be worse if I continues to lie, I decided to say the truth.

Queen Elizabeth : Fine... I went there to see the reason why they stopped reporting. After they said that they wanted to leave Azur Lane, I ordered my fleet to shoot at them.

Monarch : WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ?! *slams the table next to Queen Elizabeth*

Queen Elizabeth : Eeek... We almost sunk them until Vichiya Dominion intervened by shooting us. Next thing we knew, Charles showed up with them, declaring that both factions wanted to work together again. They fought against us and destroyed us without any problem because of their strategy. We could have won if Charles wasn't there.

Monarch : Impressive. Just when I thought you couldn't be lower than that, you managed to get even lower.

Queen Elizabeth : HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ?!?!

Monarch : Enterprise told me about him, since I was curious about that shipboy. And from what I've heard, he attacked you because you have threatened his homeland. You truly are low. As if discarding me when I was not even built to finally build me wasn't low enough from you, you go as far as to attack them because you mistreated them by not helping them correctly.

Queen Elizabeth : HOW CAN YOU TAKE HIS DEFENSE ?!?!

Monarch : Simple. He didn't attacked you. He only defended his homeland and friends from your attack. So, you are at fault, there. Now, I'll let you rest, since you have been lectured enough. I hope this will be a lesson you will not forget.

She left the room, leaving me to think about what she said. The more I thought about it, the more I find that she was right all that time. I let my anger take the better of me. I have mistreated Iris Libre, to go as far as attacking them just for a lack of report. No wonder Charles was pissed off because of that. I really need to change my behavior. I hope he will give me a second chance, so I can show him that I can be a better leader. And I should work on it as soon as I get out of here.

Meanwhile in the room next to Queen Elizabeth's one :

Enterprise P.O.V

I was with the rest of the fleet that went to Iris Libre. I never understood why they didn't treated Iris Libre the same way as the Eagle Union, but it must be because they aren't as powerful as us. I heard groans and saw that Warspite is waking up. After she has fully woke up, I decided to talk to her.

Enterprise : Tell me. What have you done ?

Warspite : Where's Her Majesty ?

Enterprise : Don't worry about her. She is in the room next to this one, most likely- *hears a door slam* Nevermind, Monarch already finished to lecture her.  But let's get back to our discussion, why did you attacked Iris Libre ? And how I know, I heard the conversation between Queen Elizabeth and Monarch.

Warspite : Because it was Her Majesty's orders.

Enterprise : And why did you followed them ?

Warspite : Because it was Her Majesty's orders.

Enterprise : And was it a good idea ?

Warspite : If it was Her Majesty-

Enterprise : STOP !!!

She was surprised by my outburst.

Enterprise : I'm not asking the opinion of Warspite, the one who obeys every order of the Queen, I'm asking Warspite as an individual !

Warspite : ...No...It was a bad idea...

Enterprise : And you still did it. Why ?

Warspite : I had no choice. If I disobeyed her, I would have been punished.

Enterprise : You had the choice ! Everyone does ! You just took the wrong one. I'm not saying that you should disobey her all the time. I'm saying that you should think more about the matter in hand to make sure you make the good choice and not obey blindly.

Warspite : ...

Enterprise : I will let you rest for now. Use that time to reflect upon what I've said.

Warspite P.O.V

I reflected on what Enterprise said to me. As much as I hate to admit, she was right. Even though I should obey Her Majesty, I should at least have said my opinion on the matter instead of blindly follow her. I should really progress on that.  I heard some groans and saw Wales waking up.

Prince of Wales : Have we... lost ?

Warspite : Yes. We did. Because we obeyed Her Majesty.

Prince of Wales : WHAT ?! How can you say that ?!

Warspite : I didn't raised my opinion on the matter and followed her blindly, without knowing her real intentions. We had the choice, we took the wrong one.

Prince of Wales : You mean... attacking Iris Libre was an error ?!

Warspite : Yes... Attacking our allies is never a good idea... and yet... we still did it...

Prince of Wales : ...No wonder the Eagle Union refused to come. They might have knew about their situation and decided to stay on the side. They even proposed their help for Iris Libre, but Her Majesty insisted that she will do it herself.

Warspite : But we didn't do it the right way. And Charles gave us that lesson the hard way.

Prince of Wales : I hope we can correct those errors and become better people.

Warspite : I agree.

Wherever you are Charles, I hope you will forgive us for our acts. I swear on my honor as a knight that I will change for the better.

Prince of Wales P.O.V

Charles, I'm sorry for what we have done to your homeland. As a Prince, it is my duty to do whatever it takes to rebuild the broken bonds. I swear it on my name.

Sakura Empire, a few weeks after the creation of Iris République.

3rd P.O.V

It was a beautiful day in the Sakura Empire. Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and Ark Royal is stalking on the Mutsuki-class Destroyers.

Author : Wait a minute ! What the hell is she doing there ?!

Ark Royal : *sweats profusely*

Author : ... *leaves*

Ark Royal : That was close.

It was a beautiful day in the Sakura Empire. Flowers are blooming, birds are singing and we can see Yuudachi, Shigure and Yukikaze and Ayanami talking together.

Shigure : Hey, girls... Have you heard about what happened about Ironblood when they went to Vichiya Dominion ?

Yuudachi : You mean about how they got destroyed by one Aircraft Carrier ?

Yukikaze : They lose because they didn't have the luck of Yukikaze the Great.

Ayanami : I don't think your luck would have been effective, especially that the Aircraft Carrier was the shipboy that came here a few weeks before, desu. The one who slapped Kaga, desu.

Yuudachi : Wait, he slapped Kaga ?! The hell is wrong with him ?!

Shigure : From what I've heard, he discovered that her and Akagi were working with the Sirens. It's safe to assume he was pissed off. And because of that, Lady Nagato stopped the project.

Yukikaze : You should not worry. As long as Yukikaze the Great is among you, nothing will beat us, that I can guarantee.

Ayanami : Luck doesn't affect him, desu. You forgot he already beat Purifier and a huge Siren fleet by himself with only 3 planes, desu. Do you think you stand a chance against him, desu ?

Yukikaze : ...

Yuudachi : I think I'll pass.

Their discussion is suddenly interrupted by some tremors.

Yuudachi : WHAT IS GOING ON ?!?!

An explosion occurred not far from it, and in the smoke, a shape, a ship is taking form. Orochi has awakened from its slumber.

Shigure : WHAT ?! But I thought... they stopped it !

At the same moment, Zuikaku P.O.V

I was training with Takao in a spar with the katanas. Shoukaku, as well as Atago, Maya and Choukai were watching the duel. As they were ready for the final blow, some tremors appeared, followed by an explosion.

Choukai : What is going on ?

Maya : Is it an attack against us ?! If it is, then I shall give no mercy !

We go look at the sea. We were terrified to see that Orochi has awoken, despite it should have been stopped.

Zuikaku : Oh no... they dared continue that dreaded project. This is looking bad.

Takao : We might need help to destroy that thing. I'll go warn Lady Nagato. *starts running*

Zuikaku : HEY !!! Wait for me ! *follows Takao*

3rd P.O.V

Shoukaku : When I will find our senpais, I'll make sure to slap them as hard as Charles. Especially Akagi because ayyy lmao.

Maya deadpanned while Atago chuckled and Choukai laughed in an embarrassed way.

At the same moment, Nagato P.O.V

I was doing the paperwork, with Mikasa helping me while Mutsu is resting next to me. As I was about to sign the next paper, I felt some intense tremors before an explosion occurred.
Mutsu was brutally awakened from her slumber.

Mutsu : OH NO !!! WE'RE SCREWED !!! GODZILLA IS GONNA EAT US ALL !!!

Nagato : Sister, calm down, he's not real !

ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRR !!!

I looked outside and saw a giant reptile in front of us.

Nagato : Oh fu-

Author : Goddammit Abercrombie ! Get back here !

Abercrombie : Nope ! Have fun !

Author : NELSON !!! Abercrombie stole your curry again !

Nelson : WHAT ?!?! GET BACK HERE AND GIVE IT BACK !!!

I looked outside to see Project Orochi. This is not good, the 1st Aircraft Carrier Division somehow managed to finish it. I heard the door slammed open, seeing Takao and Zuikaku.

Takao : Lady Nagato-

Nagato : I know. Go find our best warriors and tell to prepare themselves. Mikasa will accompany you. I'm gonna call reinforcement in Ironblood to help us.

Mikasa/Takao/Zuikaku : Right !

I went to call reinforcements. I hope we can destroy it. Maybe Azur Lane can help us, but this will be hard to tell because we are ennemies. And let's not talk about Charles, there's no way he will come to help us, after what we did. But somehow, I hope that he will nonetheless come to help us destroy Orochi, if Grey Ghost cannot do it.
