Honourable Mention:
Darkness & Light by: StellaMaria77
Review: The story starts with a captivating prologue that gives a glimpse of what happened in the past to one of the main characters Jingyi. The descriptions and word choices paint a wonderful world for the reader and are able to capture one's heart with the character's personalities.
Overall, there were a few grammar and spelling mistakes but nothing major to disrupt the flow of the story. With some chapters, I wished there was more descriptions of the surroundings that would allow further world-building and tension growth.
The general setting of Darkness & Light can be considered as somewhat of a cliche as the vampire's curse can be healed through pure-hearted human love but the writer is able to bring new twists into the plot that keep the reader interested all the way to the end.
The title and cover are highly suitable for the story. One thing I would recommend for the cover though is to make the contrast between light and dark more obvious so the cover really catches one's eye.

Claiming Third Place we have!:
Vermilion by: charlottemallory
Review: Vermillion takes you to a journey with Melissa Barton, an orphan and a blood donor for Vermillion Inc. With one of the best covers, Vermillion is able to draw attention with a catchy description that gives a general view of the core plot. For me personally though, I felt like the description gave out too much of what is going to happen.
With new twists to the typical vampire lores, in Vermillion vampire's come from a different dimension and they buy human blood based on their preferences in taste. The descriptions are done flawlessly! It is easy to dive and drown in the world of Melissa Barton, to the point where I felt like Vermillion would be better suited for traditional publishing. I highly encourage Charlottemallory to give this a thought!
With the descriptions and occasionally lengthy chapters, the pace of the story can get rather slow for a Wattpad reader. The world-building and how characters are introduced is done in an even pace but I personally got slightly impatient. This is a personal preference and does not hinder the beauty of the story at all.
The spacing of paragraphs and dialogues do need some work for them to be more pleasing for the eye, especially when reading from a tablet or a phone. The varying lengths of the chapters can be vexing for some especially when they get too long.
The characters seem balanced and well thought off. My first impression was is this another cinderella type of story but I was wrong. Melissa is an independent woman living in a dangerous world who is thrown into a completely new situation in life as she's bought by a vampire Henry Tallmer. This book is going to stay on my list of recommendations.

Coming in at Second Place we have!!:
Poison by: Siennafrost
Review: This story captivated me from the start with the main character's, Veronica's quirky sense of humor and strong personality. Her family has been murdered by vampires and she has become a lethal vampire huntress herself. From the very first chapter, the reader is plunged into a world of danger, magic and sensual attraction. There are a few tense issues, lengthy paragraphs, and other spelling mistakes but the flow of the descriptions is incredibly well done!
The dialogues feel natural and show the different characteristics of each person. I really liked how Remus, the vampire leader, is first shown from Veronica's perspective and later on the point of view is changed into his. This way both characters are introduced to the reader in more depth and the power play and tension the two have built up nicely.
The idea of a vampire huntress getting romantically involved with a vampire leader is not a new thing. However, the characteristics, humor and political power play bring out a new twist into things.
I was troubled by how much the description gives out. The reader could easily skip the first five chapters and just continue from there as all the main points have been given out. For some, this works as a pull in, but for me personally it kind of kills the mystery from finding out what's inside.
Poison has, in my opinion, the best cover out of all contestants in this awards. It's clear and is able to draw attention from a mile away.

Now the time has come to present our First Place Winner!!!:
The Year Package by: Jumping_Jiminys
Review: Let me warn you! This story is steaming hot!
Mae is an escort for the supernatural. Always ready to take upon a new role, whatever the customer wants. She's placed into a new situation as a vampire customer, Dominic Aldrek, who buys her for a whole year. She's not given any characteristics to play on which begs the question is Dominic actually interested to know who she truly is?
With a captivating first chapter that makes one's cheeks burn red, The Year Package pulls in the reader into a world of vampires, humans, fae's and other magical creatures. The descriptions and pace of the story are just unlike I've ever seen before. I could not stop reading!
Dominic's directness, occasional rudeness, and masked kindness are aspects that keep me wanting to know more about him. Mae's self-confidence, sexiness and the way she interacts with others made me fall in love with her character. I noticed how much I was cheering for Mae to break the hard shell of Dominic's and rock his world. I smiled a snickered thinking how hard it is for Dominic to show that he actually cares. This story really earned itself a fangirl! *waves pom-poms*
With well-done spacing, catchy word choices the few missing commas and typos were easy to ignore. For a tablet or a phone reader, some chapters can get lengthy but with the captivating descriptions, it's not much of a hinder.
The title is perfect for the story but for the cover, I would suggest something more eye-catching. The current one does not portray how steaming the story actually is. For a novel this good, it's too plain and the lady in the front, unfortunately, sinks into the background. With minor changes, this novel is sure to catch a fanbase!
