Honourable Mention:

Are by: EPrescott

Review: Within the first sentence, I was intrigued. While reading further, my curiosity got the better of me. Inside this book, it has a very interesting concept, which pulled me in, wanting to read more. The unknown entity of the mysterious woman is bizarrely entertaining (in a good way), and urged me to read on despite the errors in some of the sentence structures.

Description wasn't much of a strong point, but the plot is definitely the reason to read this book. The emotions and thoughts of the main character pulls you in, wanting to read more to find out about what's going on next. There's so much tension and that's fantastic. You did a great job with that too, making all the characters involved scared and totally unpredictable. Even the woman has a few unexpected things, which made me laugh quite a bit (I have a dark and twisted sense of humor).

Although grammar wasn't a strong point (which needs a bit of an edit), ARE is still a fun read. The twists and spin on things is very unique and the supernatural side of things is quite intriguing. Pacing felt on cue with enough information to trickle through to add a bit of mystery to everything. The development of the characters are at a good pace and is balanced very well. If you're into something a little bit different, I suggest to give this book a read.

Congratulations lovely!

Review: This book pulled me in straight away. The tension created instantly grabs your attention and puts your through a thought provoking ride. It was quite unexpected, which is excellent to write. The description is great with the vast use of adjectives. They best describe the emotions and thoughts of the main character, and really gets you into their persona straight away.

Grammar was fantastic. There was barely any errors at all, which was nice. Although some of the paragraphs were a little lengthy in a few places, it didn't provide as too much of a distraction. The mood you created was quite dark (which I love by the way), but deals with mental health appropriately in terms of addiction. The description helps with this immensely.

The paragraph and sentence structure is good without being repetitive, and the pacing is well thought out as the events unfold. I'll definitely be reading the rest of this when I get a chance as it was a book that took me by surprise, which doesn't happen often. I highly enjoyed this book so far.

Congratulations lovely! <3

Coming in at Second Place we have!!:

Lunar's Edge by: AFleetingDream_91

Review: The amount of description and prose is what caught my attention straight away with this book. The sentence structure was superb with little to no errors. The prologue pulls you in straight away, and ends with a decent enough cliffhanger that pushes you into the plot.

Paranormal vibes are apparent the instant you read this book too, and even has a little humor in the mix. The amount of diction is quite extensive too, which adds to the descriptive pleasantries that helps visualize the scenes. Also having varying sentence structures and sizes made the reading easy and the flow created a great reading experience.

Overall, I found the experience quite rich and tickled the imagination. Everything works and flows effortlessly. However, the plot seemed a little slow paced, but the development of the characters makes up for this. If you're after a book that has good pacing, full of character depth and fantastic use of words, then Lunar's Edge is the read for you.

Congratulations lovely!! <3 <3

Annnd Finally!!! For our First Place Winner!!!:

Catharsis: End of Mankind by: DeannaHellerErskin

Review: This book has a gripping first paragraph and made me wanting more. The description is fantastic and instantly places you into the dark world the main character is in. It captivates the senses, and isn't for the lighthearted.

Grammar and word choice was superb, however some of the paragraphs were a little clunky or too long, which made the reading a little hard in a few places. In saying that though, the pacing is completely fine and pulls you into the book wanting to find out more with how the beginning seems mysterious about who the main character is, and the questions that sits on the reader's mind.

Although the scenes can be a little brutal, there is beauty within the text. You've managed to captivate the emotion and desolation of the main character and show character depth straight away. I can't wait to read more of this book since the world building is quite fascinating considering the perspective is quite unique.

Congratulations lovely!!! <3 <3 <3
