Judge's Review: Number three's Confidential: Espionage is not a luxury was really hard to figure out(judging wise). It took me quite some time to place it in third, and it honestly probably could have tied for second.

The entire story is completely action-centered, even though it opens with almost a horror or mystery theme. It is a prequel to another one of his popular books, though you can totally understand the book by itself and wouldn't miss anything. The writing style of the book is very professional, but still easy to follow and understand. It has very few mistakes and issues, maybe a grammar error here or there, but no repeats or consistant problems .You can tell that the writer is comfortable writing and has written stories before, and is very fluent through the book. The book is a very good read and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Judge's Review: The second place book, 17 Days, was also fairly well-written.

I'll start with the errors. The one thing that probably stopped it from tying first was the commas. The book was consistently missing commas where it wasn't maybe necessary, butDefinitely would have improved the entire story. However, it's well-paced and definitely provides a realistic view that readers can easily relate to. The entire plot line is very interesting and really unique, and you can really see the characters develop. The whole thing together makes a good story and one that lots of different people, especially teens, would love.

Judge's Review: For League of Shadows, it is really engaging and interesting.

The cover is nicely played, catching attention and not overdone. Then the actual prologue was written wonderfully ! It caught the reader's attention and gave a full idea of what the book was about all while staying realistic.

As the book went on, several of the main characters really grew. The word choice was excellent and really helped me get the picture, while leaving out excess details. There were a few grammar mistakes that could have been fixed, the one most frequent was not starting a new paragraph every time someone spoke, but it wasn't very distracting or obvious, and I overlooked it for the writing style.

It fit the action category, and always had me on my toes in the midst of an assassination. All in all, the book appeared and was, very professional and I would totally buy it from a bookstore.
