Monami was standing in the corner as someone accidentally pushed her, while she was about to fall on the ground but before her back could touch the ground, he grabbed Monami by her waist as they shared an intense eyelock.

Suddenly the reality striked Monami yet again as she realised who was holding her, she was supposed to feel disgusted and uncomfortable by his touch just like it happened on Holi and numerous times before, but here she was feeling that she had found her solace in that touch, it was melting her and making her feel if he is him? she thought!

But then dismissing every thought, her eyes wandered around, no one was looking at them, while she managed to stand on the ground and slightly pushed him away as she said fiercely, looking directly into his eyes, "Stay away from me!"

Saying so, Monami left from the hall while he stood there, as he looked at her retreating figure and then at his hands, as he wiped the alone tear which threatened to fall down his eyes, and made his way towards the cafeteria.

While it was 10'o clock at night as she pulled up her jacket and made her way towards the cafeteria, just to have some alone time with a cup of caffeine.

She was outside the cafeteria, as she felt her feet trembling, her breath got hitched in her throat. She took few steps behind, and then few deep breaths, and she wore that mask of pretence again, but something had changed!

She made her way inside the cafeteria as she questioned, "Kya chupa rhe ho?"

There stood Siddharth, Koel and him, as Siddharth looked at Monami with a stern expression and spoke up, "Mera pta nahi, tu kabse mujhse chizen chupane lagi Bro?"

Monami raised her eyebrows, while Koel and he looked at her and Siddharth for a moment tensed when Siddharth bursted out laughing as he said, "Sorry-sorry! Just look at your face Monu, hahaha!"

Monami smiled at her bestfriend, as Baby, Mr. Batra, Sanjana, and Faizi entered, while Baby went to hug her chachi, while Monami opened her arms, as she hugged Baby.

Sanjana, Siddharth, Faizi, Koel were sitting on one table, while Mr. Batra, he, Baby and Monami were sitting just infront of them.

Baby was the one speaking, while others were listening to her, but no one actually was thinking about the same! They were lost in their own thoughts, when Monami's phone rang.

It was an unknown number as Monami answered the call, "Hello, who is this?"

The caller answered something from the other side to which Monami's expression got stern and serious as she replied hurriedly, "Main 15 minutes mein hospital aarhi hoon! And, mere aane tak mujhe unki medical reports aur medical histories apne table pe ready chahiye! And, hold on till I come, zaroorat pade toh ek baar kisi senior doctor se consult kijiye!"

Monami instantly disconnected the call and was about to leave when Mr. Batra stopped her as he said, "Monami, tum academy ki ek cadet ho, esliye main tumhe es vakt yahaan se jaane ke liye permission nahi desakta..."

Even though Batra Sir tried to make it sound normal, and in concerned tone but everyone except Baby knew that he was stopping her from going as there was risk of her getting kidnapped by Charu, Aneesh and others even though Siddharth and Koel decided to just show a normal, concerned expression as they couldn't react much, atleast not now when they are unknown to the mission according to Monami.

Monami stopped as she turned to Mr. Batra as she spoke up firmly, "Sir aap apni Cadet Monami Mahajan ko rok sakte hain, lekin Doctor Monami Mahajan ko nahi! Main aaj bhi ek Cadet hone se pehle ek doctor hoon, and mera voh farz sabse pehle aata hai!"

She took a moment as she said, "I am sorry but I will have to disobey your orders Sir."

Monami was about to leave, when Baby held her hand, as Baby said authoritatively, "Level pe aao!"

Monami smiled as she bent down, Baby forwarded her hand, as she questioned, "Chachi jaldi vapis aaoge na?"

Monami nodded her head, while Baby questioned, "Soldier's Promise?"

Monami smiled as she placed her hand on Baby's as she smiled and said, "Soldier's promise ma'am!"

Everyone smiled looking at them, as Monami walked out of the room as she secretly stole a glance at him, and a small sad smile appeared on her face as she left, and everyone's face inside the cafeteria except Baby got stern and filled with guilt.

While he just stood and looked at her retreating figure with helplessness, guilt, and regret as Faizi went near him and placing his arm on his shoulder he spoke up, "Chinta mat kro Janaab ji, usse kuch nahi hoga..."

Karan wore his mask of pretence of being Balli, as this was the change in him, while when Monami came out of the Academy, as she was driving the jeep as there came a divider, she was supposed to take the way towards the hospital, towards the right, but she drove straight, as she tucked her hair behind her ear, an earpiece was there in her ear as she said authoritatively, "Monami here! 10 minutes mein. Mission se related saari details apne paas hi rakhiyega..."

And, there was the change inside her, and it was the she had to double play just like her Karan, for everyone!

Monami removed her earpiece as she said to herself, "Sorry Karan, but jaise tumhare liye desh se badhkar kuch nahi hai, vaise hi mere liye bhi mere desh se badhkar kuch nahi. Tum apna mission pura kro, main apna mission krongi, tum Parakram ke saath aur main unke saath. Humara tarika aur raaste alag hain, lekin manzil ek hi hogi."
