9. 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙊𝙛 𝙇𝙞𝙚𝙨

ᴍᴏɴᴀᴍɪ'ꜱ ᴘᴏɪɴᴛ ᴏꜰ ᴠɪᴇᴡ

All of us had gotten down all the goons, as we were standing at certain distance from one another.

When I heard Sid shouting, "Karan bro! Watch out!"

Saying so, he pulled out his gun while everyone was utterly confused when my eyes fell on a man who was aiming his gun at Karan!

Shit!

I rushed up to him, and the sound of bullet shot was heard, as I had pulled the trigger of my gun and the man was shot dead by me but then I felt something warm wetting my black shirt.

I was numb for a moment as I noticed blood oozing out from my upper forearm, and then processing everything, I realised that I am shot!

I didn't knew that I was on my knees by then, as Karan instantly sat on his knees worried and then we were joined by Sid, Sanju, Koel and Faizi as they questioned me at once, "Silver tum thik ho?"

No, I can't speak infront of them! They will recognise me, and I have already made the mistake of opening my mouth infront of them when I alerted them a few moments back.

Thankfully, they didn't noticed it due to the goons who surrounded us and made us engrossed in fighting.

My trance of thoughts were broken, as Gunjan ma'am, Rishabh, and Anubhav arrived, as I nodded my head from up to down, and gestured them to take Karan, Sid, Sanju, Koel and Faizi out of here.

They can't stay here any longer, if they did then my truth will be out which I can't afford at any cost right now!

Rishabh spoke up after he stole a glance at me, "Karan, tumhe aur tumhari team ko yahaan se jaana hoga. Retreat."

"Sir, lekin hum aap logon ko aise chodke nahi ja sakte, specially when Silver got shot while saving me." said Karan a bit sternly.

Rishabh didn't responded instead just took Karan out of there, followed by others.

After they left Gunjan ma'am helped me in getting up and took me to the secret room and said concerned, "Silver, tumhe toh goli lagi hai..."

I looked at my wound and then responded, "Goli lagi hai, but baahar dikh rahi hai, so esse abhi nikalna hoga..."

Gunjan ma'am widened her eyes as she said, "Silver, don't give me that look. Hum tumhe hospital le chalte hain..."

"Uska time nahi hai. And remember, yeh ek secret mission hai, agr hospital gye toh reasons dene honge jisme humari identity aur mission ko khatra hosakta hai..." I explained calmly to her.

She glanced at me and then enquired being concerned, "Toh ab kya kren?"

I sighed as I informed her, "Aapko yeh bullet nikalni hogi."

Gunjan ma'am was shocked on my demand as she exclaimed, "What!? Monami, I know main doctor nahi hoon lekin mujhe pta hai ki aise moments pe anesthesia ki zaroorat hoti hai, or the person's condition can worsen. Aur main koi professional nahi hoon!"

I looked keenly at her and then spoke up, "Teen baatien! Pehli, abhi ke liye I am Silver for you, not Monami. Dusri, aap nahi lekin main ek doctor hoon toh mujhe pta hai what am I doing. Teesri, aap mujhse badi hain lekin aapne hi mujhe es team ka lead banaya hai ma'am, so if you can't accept this request then consider it an order."

I could see on her face that she is surprised at my authoritative tone.

I gestured Anubhav to bring my small bag which contains some medical stuff and my clothes along with a gun as I told her, "Ma'am, mere bag mein ek scalpel hai, uski help se you will take out the bullet."

Gunjan ma'am was hesitant but she had to give in because of my orders, as I instructed her but as soon the scalpel touched my wound, I wanted to scream so loud.

I flinched and then I covered my mouth with my elbow, as I left out muffled screams but to my luck, Gunjan ma'am was quick enough to remove the bullet while her hands were covered with blood and I finally downed my hand.

She was having tears in her eyes as I assured her, "It's alright ma'am. Main thik hoon."

She knew I wasn't that good but was just fine, so she didn't interrupted when Rishabh entered the room and informed us, "Silver, Siddharth ne shayad Charu ki baatein suni thi, she is planning to attack some female cadet in the academy. Aur shayad voh tum ho Silver, I mean Monami. Yeh baat tumhare friends figure out kr chuke hain. They left for Parakram."

I analysed the situation and said, "Main Parakram jaungi. And mere upr jo attack hoga, I will deal with it aur Parakram mein es wound ka reason usse hi btaungi. Because Silver ke haanth mein bullet lagi hai, yeh unhe pta hai..."

"So, it's better ki agr main aise kron. I can't let them doubt me..." I concluded.

All of them nodded understanding when Anubhav said, "Silver, lekin tumhari chot se khoon nikal rha hai..."

I glanced at my wound, I can't do the proper dressing or everyone will doubt me so I looked at Gunjan ma'am and said, "Ma'am, meri chot pr ek handkerchief baandh dijiye... Loose enough ki lage ki maine khud bandha hai..."

Gunjan ma'am did as instructed and I was about to leave from there, after ordering everyone to keep me updated timely when Gunjan ma'am pulled me aside as she enquired being tensed, "Aashna thik hai na?"

"She is fine ma'am, don't worry." I assured.

"Ek ajeeb si feeling aarhi hai Monami, as if something wrong is about to happen..." said Gunjan ma'am worrying.

I sighed as I took her left hand in my right hand and promised, "Aashna ko kuch nahi hoga aur yeh Cadet Doctor Monami Juhi Mahajan ka vaada hai aapse, aur Silver ki assureity."

She sighed in relief and side hugged me as I picked up my small bag and headed out of Charu's hideout, not before changing my clothes once I was left alone by everyone.

I started to drive the car, being dressed up in my usual get up with my brown bag on the passenger seat.

I was almost near the academy but as expected I was stopped by Charu's goons.

Four goons were there, I would have stepped down into the fight but to their luck I was injured enough to not to stress myself by torturing them from my bare hands.

I pulled out the gun from my backpack and before they could even react, I shot them to death and continued to drive towards Parakram Academy.

I stopped my Jeep infront of the academy and stepped down, my wound was covered with my jacket, if by chance, I am able to escape all of them without knowing about my wounds then it's best. Or, I do have my Plan B ready with me as well.

I entered the academy as it was 4 in the morning, and I knew very well that no one will be awake at this hour except them.

I just took few steps forward when I found five of them looking around for me tensed.

And that's when their eyes fell on me as they ran up to me while Sid embraced me tightly and the others stopped aside.

All of them were sweating profusely with tensed forehead marks visible, when Sid tightened his grip around me as he said, "Thankgod that you are safe Monu!"

But then I flinched, as unintentionally Sid pressed my wound and I tried to be normal but then I guess he sensed me flinching and everyone else read my reaction and then I felt pressure on my wound as I shrieked in pain even after controlling for this long, "Ouchh!?"

Sid instantly backed off on hearing my scream, as all of them looked at me worried when my right hand out of reflex went to caress my left upper arm, as I closed my eyes to calm myself and opened them again to find Karan, Sid, Koel, Faizi and Sanju looking at me worriedly.

"Monami kay hua?" questioned Sanju, trying to calm herself from freaking out.

Before I could reply Sid ordered me, "Remove this damn jacket right now!"

"Sid..." I started.

"Monu! Remove the jacket! Tujhe meri kasam!" He said sternly.

I removed my jacket from my left side with difficulty, and then I examined everyone's faces.

Five of them looked at me with bloodshot red eyes, I could feel their anger rising within them along with worry and tension for me, and I realised that they are literally gonna forget that they have to act infront of me.

I quickly glanced at Karan whose eyes were screaming to hug me tightly and take my pain away, while his fists were clenched as if ready to kill Charu with his bare hands.

Sid, Sanju, Faizi and Koel were no better, when I decided to break their trance of thoughts knowing that they will end up foiling their plan because of this, "Guys, it's okay. Pehle dispensary chalein? I need to get the dressing..."

This was the only way to distract them, because I knew that I don't have any other option left with me as they led me to the dispensary silently.

After reaching dispensary, I looked at Siddharth to put the oinment and do my dressing as no nurse or doctor was present at the hour.

He silently took out the medical kit, when Koel enquired in a stern tone, "Kaise hua yeh?"

I kept mum, I knew that they know the truth but I couldn't let them know that I know, as five of them questioned, this time a bit loudly, "Charu ne kiya na yeh!?"

And here, five of them got me startled because I really didn't expected them to take her name right here at the moment.

I raised my eyebrows looking at them as I questioned, "Charu?"

"Sid? Koel?" I turned to look at them.

Five of them were actually horrified on realising what they just did and I knew that Karan is pretending to be Balli so he couldn't speak a word here while Sanju and Faizi won't be able to come up with a suitable lie, so I directly questioned Sid and Koel.

"Voh..." Koel and Sid started but couldn't come up with an excuse.

I need to help them and so I said, "Tumhe Sanju aur Faizi ne btaya, right? Aur tumhe sab pta hai?"

Sid and Koel quickly glanced at eachother and nodded, and I knew that they have already came up with a plan in their minds as Koel started, "Hume Sanju aur Faizi ne aaj hi sab kuch btaya hai..."

"Kyunki humne unki aadhi baatien sunli. We realised ki us bomb blast mein Charu zinda bach ke nikal gyi aur esliye tum upset ho....right Karan Sir?" continued Sid, as he said the last line looking at Karan to which first he was confused but then understanding the plan be nodded his head in a 'yes'.

While I already knew that Sid and Koel's plan was to just let me think that only know about Charu and not about Karan's death.

I nodded my head, not wanting to cause further problems to them and I could see relief washed over their faces when Batra Sir entered the dispensary as all of us saluted him while I stood up, "Jai Hind Sir!"

"Monami, mujhe tumse kuch baat krni hai." said Batra Sir looking at me, as he asked me sit.

Karan, Sid, Sanju, Faizi and Koel wore there facades and now it's time for me to wear mine, and the thing is all of us are wearing the facade of lies.
