In The Storeroom

I paced around the storeroom looking for the arrangements, being a bit nervous because it's not Sid G types, like the lavish thing.

This time it's Sanju's Siddharth and Miss Tod Fod 's Chirkut doing these small arrangements, as I looked around a table for two, candles, roses, Pani Puri and fairy lights.

Simple but fascinating.

I heard the footsteps and instantly a smile crept on my face as I rushed to switch off the lights and hide behind the shelf as she stepped inside, the room getting filled with her fragrance.

"Siddharth?" I heard Sanju calling out for me.

I pressed the button, turning on the fairy lights while I just looked at her change of expressions, changing from worried to stunned and then stunned to a bright smile.

"I wish ki tumhare face par yeh smile humesha rahe...." I mentally prayed to God Ji Bro.

I glanced at the rose in my hand and decided to take this last chance.

Sanju was looking at me with tears emerging in her beautiful deep eyes but I nodded my head in a no, asking her silently to not to shed her precious pearls like this and she wiped the corner of her eyes while her tears threatened to fell while I continued, "But us din, video call par tumse baat krke laga ki mere jaisa bhi koi hai... After Monu you became my family Sanju. I know humare arguments huye, jhagde huye, lekin phir dosti aur pyaar bhi toh hua hi na?

I inhaled deeply and finally confessed, "I love you Sanju! I love you so much! Thankyou keh raha hoon Miss Tod Fod, meri life mein aane ke liye, meri life ko better banane ke liye... Mujhe meri life ka purpose aur aim dene ke liye.... Meri family banne ke liye."

And here she instantly took the rose from my hand, she made me stand by holding my shoulders while I smiled seeing her and as soon I was on my feet, she wrapped her arms around me tightly, making me startled.

But no sooner did I reciprocated the warm hug, wrapping my one arm around her waist protectively while the other was on her backhead, while my chin rested on her shoulder and her chin rested on mine.

We stood in the same position silently when I heard her sobbing and started to caress her hairs lightly and whispered in her ears softly, "Sanju, ro kyun rahi ho? Agr abhi kuch nahi bolna toh mat kaho lekin aise ro mat... Please Sanjuuuu."

I gently untangled her from me when she didn't stopped crying and so cupping her face, I started to wipe her tears with my thumb with utmost gentleness while she smiled seeing my gesture as I tried to sooth her, "Tumhare aansu bohot precious hain mere liye.... So, don't cry!"

"Aur vaise bhi Chirkut ki Miss Tod Fod rote huye acchi nahi lagegi aur Karan bro ko pta chala toh voh toh mujhe boxing match mein hi bhej denge! No! No! No!" I said in an attempt to make her laugh, and guess what? I am successful!

Her laugh! That's all I could wish for at the moment!

"I love you keh raho hain Siddharth!" she said with a blush creping her face and a shy smile lingering on her lips making me grin.

"I love you too keh raha hoon Sanju!" I said with an wide, ear to ear grin being plastered on my face.

Her cheeks were covered in deep shades of red by now as I teased, "Blushing and all? Haan, Sanju? Personality development! Mujhe nahi pta tha ki meri Miss Tod Fod blush bhi krti hai...."

"Katayi Chirkut hai tu!" said Sanju, hitting my shoulder playfully.

Whereas I planted a soft gentle kiss on top of her head making her smile widely and that's when my eyes fell on her plumpy lips and her gaze followed mine and the next moment while she buried her face in my chest, trying to hide her shyness while I chuckled at her child like antics and wrapped my arms around her.

Truly, who needs the lavish restaurant to go on a date when your love can end up cuddling in your arms like a child and you can end up confessing your inner feelings!

This is the best feeling!

We separated from the hug as I pulled out a chair for her, and made her sit while she smiled seeing my efforts and gestures.

I sat infront of her and opened the bowl and observed her expressions and the sight made my heart flutter as her lips broke into a wide smile as she started to have Pani Puri and gulping down one of it, she closed her eyes in satisfaction while I adored her.

How can someone be so cute and adorable at the same time?

"Chirkut..." she said shaking me, breaking my chain of thoughts.

I hummed in response while she took my hand in her's and started, "Dekh, hume jey sab teri tarah yoon lambi baatein krno toh na aato lekin tab bhi..."

"Humara saath dene ke laane, hume samjhne ke laane aur humse pyaar krne ke laane, thankyou keh raho hain Siddharth! Jab tum es academy mein aaye the, hume na lago tha ki tum kabhi hume samjhoge ya hum kabhi samjhenge lekin jey samay ka khel hogo aur tumhara humare liye pyaar jo hume yahaan leke aao hai... Agr tum na hoto toh shayad hum Aaj es academy mein katayi na hote... I love you keh raho hain Siddharth kyunki jey se zaada humare paas kuch kehne ko na hai..." Sanju confessed, pouring her heart out to me and I couldn't stop my tears.

While she instantly leaned forward on the table and cupping my face, she started to wipe of my tears while I murmured audibly, "Esse zaada tumhe kuch kehne ki zaroorat bhi nahi hai Sanju... I love you too keh raha hoon!"

"Tu thik hogo?" she enquired while concerned was clearly reflecting in her tone and love for me in her eyes.

I smiled and replied affectionately, "Ab hogo!"

She grinned hearing my response as we continued our date, while most of the time I was just staring at her!
