17.5. 𝘼𝙣 𝙀𝙥𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙚𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣

ᴘᴀʀᴀᴍ'ꜱ ᴘᴏɪɴᴛ ᴏꜰ ᴠɪᴇᴡ

"Jaise voh majboor the, main bhi majboor thi! Jaise unke liye desh sabse pehle hai, mere liye bhi humara desh sabse pehle hai! Maine by chance party ke baad Karan, Sid aur Koo ki baatein suni thi! They didn't told me! Mujhe bhi voh so called Mask Of Pretence pehen-na pada tha!" Monami shouted as her hidden pain was finally getting out.

I glanced at Karan, Faizi, Sanju, Sid and Koel who were shedding silent countless tears and then looked at Monami whose mental wounds were opening to get the medicines.

I sighed as I murmured inaudibly, "Baccha tumhare yeh mental wounds maine khulwa diye hain kyunki main jaanta hoon ki eski dressing sirf tumhare yeh paanch namoone kr sakte hain...."

My trance of thoughts were broken as she painfully shouted about her unknown endurance, "Mujhe unhone kuch nahi btaya because voh meri jaan khatre mein nahi daalna chahte the but in all this voh bhool gye ki main en sabme directly involved hoon!"

Well true that, never thought that Karan, Faizi and Sanju will get so emotional to let go off such an important fact but I guess, falling in love gave them this habit of overprotective-ness.

"Mujhe unke plans ke baare mein nahi pta tha Bhai! Mujhe sirf yeh pta tha that the stakes in this game are higher aur maine esliye Karan ke informant ko bachane ke orders diye and to let Karan know about it." she continued.

I glanced at others who were numb to say anything when my Baccha concluded, "Maine Parakram ko es sabke beech involve nahi kiya because I knew ki Charu ke hideout mein hum sabme se koi nahi jasakta because usne humare faces dekhe hain, esliye maine Gunjan ma'am aur baaki sabki help li. And shayad, ek reason yeh bhi tha ki main unhe esse bhi bade danger mein nahi dalna chahti thi. They didn't knew that the game is bigger but I knew it and was ready to step inside willingly for revenge but I couldn't allow five of them to risk their lives."

She paused and taking breaths, she tried to calm herself while the five souls were broken which reflected on their faces, while I knew its not my cue to say anything yet.

I have dealt with worst things but seeing my Baccha like this, is hurting me much more. I wish I was here sooner to resolve all these emotional conflicts. But just few minutes more and everything will be fine.

"Bhai, us party ke baad jo hua, aap sab usse mere guilt aur plan mein daal sakte hain, so my facade isn't off. Lekin..." she paused once more and I knew its gonna be something to shatter us....

My chain of thoughts broke as she spoke up being broken, "Lekin, Balli ka sach pta lagne ke baad Karan ko dhundne tak, voh pain of separation sach tha! It was not a lie! Jab Karan ko dard hua mujhe voh feel hona is our connection! Karan ko us pillar ke neeche daba hua dekhna and when my breathing stopped for a moment is the ultimate truth!"

"Karan ki voh baatein sunna, uske mooh se ek baar phir Rani Sahiba sunne ke baad mera rona! The promises which I made to him before he went for mission is our truth! Hospital mein Karan ki uniform apni haanthon mein lena, those breakdowns! Voh jhoot nahi tha Bhai! Us ek din mein main har pal mari hoon!" she continued with tears flowing down her eyes.

And here, I couldn't stop myself from tearing apart, as a tear rolled down from my eyes whereas Karan was trying his best to hold back along with Sid, Sanju, Koel, and Faizi.

That's when I heard Monami say, "Jaante hain, ab samajh mein aarha hai ki Karan me nightmares kitne valid the! Uska pain, uska guilt sab samajh mein aarha hai because aaj vahi feel kr rahi hoon main!"

On receiving this piece of information, all six of us looked at her startled not knowing how to react when she revealed, "Bhai, aapko pta hai Karan ko aapke jaane ke baad nightmares aate the...."

I looked at her and then Chotte who quietly stole a glance at me, as tears rolled down his eyes when Monami chuckled sarcastically when she told us, "But main toh usse bhi ek step aage nikli, last ke 2-3 weeks se, I am suffering from insomnia."

Insomnia? I didn't knew what it was exactly except the thing that it's related to sleeping when she said, "It's the sleeping disorder. Jab insaan nahi so sakta, lack of sleep or no sleep. Khud ko es guilt mein rakha hai, just taaki main Charu ko khatam kr sakun, es vajah se apni Mumma ke colleagues ki jaan khatre mein daali!"

"Yash, Rishabh, Ajeet, Anubhav, unki teams aur Gunjan ma'am ko on-field bhej diya aur khud yahaan academy mein thi! Just ordering them.... Aur kuch nahi! Aaj Yash aur uski team missing hai, Sneha isn't alive! Sab meri galti hai! Sab!" she shouted broken and I realised that she is taking everything in a negative way...

I tried my best to not to break as I spoke up in order to console her, "Baccha, staying back is the bigger responsibility. Tum peeche rahi taaki tum backup plan kr sako, mission successful rahe us baat ka dhyaan rakho, because unhe bhi pta tha Baccha, ki yeh mission end of the day sirf tumhare haanthon pura hosakta hai, tumhara stay back zaroori tha."

"Aur rahi baat order dene ki, toh you know what? Esse ordering nahi, supervising kehte hain.... Jaanti ho baccha, a perfect team requires six things. Ek planner, ek executer, ek superviser, atleast ek fighting expert, ek technology expert, aur ek diverter." I told her but she didn't respond, and I knew that she was confused with what I wanted to explain.

I inhaled deeply as I elaborated, "Baccha, tumne 6 logon ka kaam akele kiya hai. Planner banke, yeh pura mission plan kiya, sabke roles decide kiye. Executer banke, yeh plan execute kiya jo bohot crucial part hota hai. Supervisor banke, sabko sahi instructions diye, unhe mentor kiya even though they were elder to you."

"Diverter banke, you distracted Charu from focussing on one thing. Fighting expert banke, you are the person jisne Aashna ko rescue kiya, and you are the only one jisne Karan aur baaki sab ke saath ladi. Technical kaam bhi tumne khud kiye, like hacking Charu's phone, voh pure mission ki details nikalna." I concluded.

I received silence but I was trying to keep myself positive that she is thinking about my words but then she said, "But you can't change the fact Bhai, ki yeh mission aaj bhi incomplete hai. Aashna ki jaan bhi meri carelessness ki vajah se khatre mein aayi. Aneesh ke time maine Karan ko misunderstand kiya, jiski vajah se baat itni badhi. Sneha isn't alive usme bhi meri galti hai. And you can't deny to the fact, ki jo maine plan C banaya tha usme ek bhi galti se yeh pura mission barbaad hosakta tha...."

"Sab barbaad hosakta tha!" Monami yelled and finally fell on her knees broken but before I could go near her, Karan, Faizi, Sid, Sanju, and Koel rushed to her and going on their knees, they pulled her into a warm hug and I smiled.

Six of them were crying in one another's arms and here I am smiling because I know that it's their reunion.

Monami was startled for a moment before she reciprocated the hug, as six of them were getting the solace in that hug as I just adored them from afar, and after what felt like an eternity they separated from one another and looking at their red faces, I tried to suppress my laugh.

And that's when Karan shouted , "Pagal ho tum! Itna sab kuch sahi se handle krne ke baad keh rahi ho sab barbaad hosakta hai, jo hona tha ho chuka aur bohot ache se hua hai Rani Sahiba!"

"Sach mein Kameeni! Ek number ki idiot hai tu! Aise kaun kehta hai. Moti billi se kya buddhu billi ban gyi hai!?" Sid yelled as well.

Monami glared at the duo as she snapped back, "Acha, aur tum paanchon meri aur bhai ki chupke baatein sun rahe the uska kya!?"

Okay, this is gonna be fun, their arguing session is gonna be epic just like them!

"Ek minute! Don't turn the topic Mona, yahaan tere state of mind ki baat horhi hai ki tu khudko blame kr rahi hai!" said Koel, crossing her arms around her chest.

Sanju sided with her as she said, "Aur vaise bhi, tanne agr hume kuch na btayo toh humne kaunsa tujhe khud kuch aake btayo tha? Galti toh humare bhi huyo phir?"

"Tum chaaro humari behen ko daantna band kro!" snapped Faizi, as he went to Monami and side hugged her which she reciprocated with a warm smile and showed her tongue to the four as their reactions to Faizi were like, 'You are on our side or her's!?'

Monami glared at the other four as she said sarcastically, "Vaise, I guess us din dispensary mein, main ro rahi thi, haina Karan?"

While Karan instantly stopped himself from scolding her, as she eyed Sid and said in the same tone, "Aur I guess main hi us din rote-rote, shivering hands se apni bandage kr rahi thi jab mujhpe dusri baar attack hua tha?"

Sid was standing with a 'Not fair bro' expression, while Monami turned to look at Koel and said, "And, main hi thi kya voh jisne kl khudko hug krliya tha after blast incident to console myself?"

Koel stood there with a look which read, 'Just wait and watch, I will see you later!' and lastly she turned to look at Sanju and finally uttered, "Aur shayad mujhe khana dene ka kaam bhi maine khud ne hi Kiya tha?"

'That should have been out of topic right now.' is what Sanju's look read and I bursted out laughing seeing the five dumbstruck while Monami glanced at me and joined me in the laugh.

"Bhaiya, aap meri side ho ya Rani Sahiba ki?" questioned Karan whining.

I chuckled as I said, "Chotte mujhe tujhse pyaar toh hai, lekin shayad yahaan ab koi aisa hai, jiska mere pyaar par tujhse zaada hak hai, mera Baccha! Come Monu baccha..."

I said and opened my arms for my Baccha as she left Faizi and hugged me tightly while five of them were whining as if someone stole their favourite chocolate.

I glanced at the other two girls and said, "Chalo, tum dono bhi aasakte ho!"

And their faces lit up like it's diwali today, as Koel was standing near to me, so she was about to step forward when her leg slipped as she was about to fall on ground, and the others were shocked to react but Faizi was quick enough to hold her by her waist, as they were sharing an intense eyelock, forgetting that they are having audience here.

Karan, Sanju, and Sid were adoring them along with Monu as I whispered in her ears, "Tu aur Karan, Sid aur Sanju, ab enka kya status hai?"

"Dono pyaar mein hain, Faizi ko realisation ho rakha hai aur Koo ko hona hai..." she whispered back with a smile, her eyes fixated on them.

I smiled knowing that the three Special Agents who were pledged to not to love have given up on their hearts to someone else, their better halves as I enquired whispering, "Aage ka kya plan hai?"

Monu smirked as she replied, "Mission pe jaane se pehle third couple ka confession."

I winked, silently joining her in the plan when she said, "Bhai, Parakram mein pyaar ki hawayen chal rahi hain..."

"Pyaar ki hawayen nahi, pyaar ka pura toofaan aarakha hai Parakram Special Action Force mein!" and there I winked at the end and she bursted out laughing badly breaking everyone's chain of thoughts as they looked at two of us confused.

But then, I opened my arms and six of them almost jumped over me, hugging me tightly and trust me it's an epic reunion.

After long we separated, when Monu's phone beeped as she pulled out her phone and opened the text while I along with Karan, Sid, Sanju, Faizi and Koel peeked inside as the text was from Yash as the text read:

Monami, main Oak Street ke paas ek warehouse mein hoon, apni team ke saath. We need you here urgently.

We glanced at one another and then at Monu who was busy rereading the text when she spoke up, "Let's go!"
