11. 𝙎𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙭𝙞𝙢𝙖

I was turning sides on my bed when I saw Sanju leaving the room, as I sat up straight on my bed with a jerk, clenching my fists and closing my eyes shut, I could just reminisce what happened a few hours back.

A Few Hours Ago
In The Gym

I was alone in the gym, just doing some light exercise, as I have recovered from my wound.

In the last week, Charu changed her hideout due to which there were some changes made in the mission whereas I could just sit back here in the academy and communicate with them, and just instruct them.

Until now, thankfully everyone is safe and sound, also, no one is being spectacular about my whereabouts and busy days.

To be honest, I am just hiding from five of them so that I don't ruin their plan and the same with mine. Because I think, our next meeting will be disastrous enough to let them know about the realities and truths.

My trance of thoughts was broken as I heard Yash in my communicator, "Silver, Charu ke Saath ek aur aadmi involve hai, en sabme..."

"Yash obviously en sabme kaafi goons vagerha involved hain so he must be one of them. Esme naya kya hai?" I enquired, being oblivious to why it's such an issue.

As soon I completed, Yash told me, "Because, he is involved in the major stuff. Like jaise tumne hume Balli ke baare mein btaya tha, us type mein. Because Charu esse tameez se baat kr rhi hai, looks like they are equally involved."

"Physical appearance?" I questioned.

Yash took a moment as he started to describe, "Someone with spectacles. Main tumhe picture bhejta hoon."

"Okay." I replied.

I received the picture as it was downloading when Yash continued, "Karan ki pehli kidnapping mein yeh involve tha, and tumhe kidnap krne ke liye sabse zaada planning toh yeh kr rha hai..."

"Yash, switch off your phone right now!" I interrupted him hurriedly as I instructed.

A few moments later Yash replied, "Copied. Lekin achanak kyun?'

Instead of answering, I said in the earpiece, "Everyone, turn off your cell phones. We can not take the risk of getting caught!"

"Copy that!" I heard everyone say.

"Silver, I am going upstairs for the clue. Won't respond." Yash said.

I took a deep breath as I said, "Copy that. Careful."

I removed the communicator and glanced at my phone, and the picture was downloaded as I tapped on it and just kept on looking at the picture, with an unfathomable expression while my hands were in the form of fists.

Aneesh Malhotra!

I didn't know when I lost control over my lips as they synced, "You will pay for it Doctor Aneesh Malhotra! Vaise toh tum doctor toh kya, insaan kehlane ke laayak bhi nahi ho! I swear, tumne jo Karan ke saath kiya, uske baad I am not gonna spare you!"

I was lost in my thoughts as I started to move out towards my room, to calm myself and brew up a plan to catch him.

I was walking absent-mindedly when I bumped into Karan, as he caught me by my waist and prevented me from falling while my arms were wrapped around his neck while we were sharing an intense eye lock.

My trance of thoughts was broken, as he broke the eye lock and he helped me in standing, as I composed myself and said, "Thank you."

Before he could reply, I left from there and entered my room with a sigh as my mind was occupied with Charu and Aneesh's thoughts.

Present

I was frustrated with the occurring when suddenly a plan strikes me as I adjusted back my earpiece and spoke up, "Gunjan ma'am. I need the location."

"Copy that Silver. A moment." replied Gunjan ma'am instantly.

That's when my phone rang, as it flashed Aashna, I was about to ignore the call when I decided to pick up and kept the communicator Bluetooth on speaker.

I answered the call as I said, "Hello, Aashna?"

"Hi, Monami. Voh, mom kaisi hain?"  Aashna enquired calmly, opposite to what she did last time.

Probably, she is missing Gunjan ma'am, but I can't do anything for you Aashna, as I snapped out of my thoughts and answered, "Gunjan ma'am thik hain. You don't have to worry."

Before she could reply I heard Gunjan ma'am on the communicator, "Silver, we are at Park street..."

I instantly went to put the communicator on mute as I heard Aashna say, "I will talk to you later."

As soon she said so, she disconnected the call which I found odd but shrugged off and kept the communicator in my ear as I enquired, "Ma'am, please repeat."

"Haan, so Silver, we are at Park Street but Charu apna hideout shift kr rahi hai so we are going to the abandoned street, voh jungle ke piche wala. And, please hume es way se follow mat krna because yahaan ki security bohot tight hai..." Gunjan ma'am explained being concerned.

I nodded my head to myself and said, "Ok ma'am. Be careful and please update me."

"Positive." she said before she disconnected.

I glanced at my side table which had the photo of me, Karan, Sid, Sanju, Koel, and Faizi, as I took the frame in my hands and started to caress it with the utmost affection.

I was feeling restless all of the sudden, I could feel that something has happened, something unexpected. Which was not supposed to happen without my knowledge.

I peeked at the picture as I murmured, "I am sorry.... I promise ki main tum sabko bohot jald, sab sach bta dungi. Bas ek baar yeh mission pura hojaye... I hope that you guys will understand."

I closed my eyes, with the Photoframe still in my hand and I didn't know when the sleep took over me.

A Few Hours Later

My eyes shuddered before I woke up, and sat up on my bed, and then my eyes fell on the Photoframe which I was held securely in my hands, as a subtle smile came on my face when I glanced at the other side of the room, to find Sanju's bed empty.

I quickly placed the frame on the table back and looked at the time, as it was 530 hours already.

I instantly rushed towards the washroom and got dressed in the uniform and took the earpiece and kept it in my pocket as I rushed towards the training ground, and stood in the first row.

I inhaled sharply when I noticed that Karan, Faizi, Sanju, Koel, and Sid were quite a much glaring at me when Faizi instructed, "Cadet Monami, aap sirf light exercise hi krengi. Clear?"

"Yes Sir!" I replied.

I started with my exercise as others started with the original drills but I could still feel the five's intense gaze on me and I realised that today is gonna be a long day!

The drills got over as all of us went to the cafeteria while I settled with the five as I had no other option left and examining their faces, which I tried to avoid, I realised that if looks could kill then I would have been dying ×100 times by now.

I stole a quick glance at Karan and I knew that they wanted to talk to me. Alone.

I shivered as I thought about the consequences if they learnt about my truth from someone else!

Doctor Monami Juhi Mahajan, you are so dead if they get to know about this from someone else, they are literally gonna murder me then!

Karan and Sid are looking ready to eat me alive while I feel that Sanju, Koel and Faizi are just about to bombard on me with their numerous questions.

On one hand, I am scared of their rage on knowing about this but on the contrary I am also tensed, knowing they will be broken after knowing that I hid such a big truth from them.

I could imagine Karan's hurt face, Sid's un-shed tears, Koel and Sanju's unexpressed anger which is still gonna be laced with concern and Faizi's disappointed look.

I vigorously shook my head to clear it and started remembering if I did something which made them suspect me but to my unfortune, nothing came up to my mind.

The day was passing by, but the five were still haunting me everywhere, as if finding a moment to get me alone with them which they couldn't.

It was evening already, as escaping them I reached the cafeteria, and I had my communicator on when I found Dilbagh ji there as I enquired politely, "Dilbagh ji, ek cup coffee milegi kya?"

Dilbagh ji instantly nodded in affirmative as he said, "Kyun nahi puttar ji! Abhi laaya bas."

I smiled as he went behind the counter to get my cup of coffee when I pulled out the hair strand covering up the earpiece when I heard the sound of footsteps and turned towards the door, only to startle myself.

Karan, Sid, Sanju, Koel and Faizi stood there as finally they caught me alone, as they made their way towards me and the thing was, Karan's expression were screaming loudly that he isn't pretending to be Balli anymore...

I was just praying mentally to send someone to my rescue when the five of them reached nearer as Karan was about to say something when a voice interrupted him, "Chachi!"

A huge smile appeared on face, as my rescuer is none other than Baby, I mentally thanked her when she rushed to me and I quickly went on my knees, as she wrapped her hands around my neck, her chin resting on my shoulder, and her ear near my Bluetooth but I didn't minded it and hence wrapped my arms around her tiny waist.

That's when the sound of bullet shot came from my earpiece as I realised that one of my team mates shot someone, with his or her communicator on, as I closed my eyes due to the impact when Baby separated herself from me and a horrified look was plastered on my face, and I know why but I questioned, trying to sound oblivious, "Baby kya hua?"

"Chachi mujhe aapke kaan ke paas se ek bohot tez awaaz aayi. Jaise Chachu ki bullet se aati hai..." explained Baby, being confused.

Everyone stared at me shocked as I tried to convince, "Baby yeh bhi toh hosakta hai na ki yeh aapka koi vehem ho..."

Baby looked convinced when Koel said, "Monu, ek baar apne baal hatake dikha de, probably tab doubts clear hojayen.."

I slightly nodded, even though I was hell scared if they see the earpiece in my ear, as I moved my hand towards my hair strand, and started to push it backwards, when Bhabhi entered the room and everyone's gaze shifted on her and taking the chance, i quickly removed the communicator and placed it in my pocket.

That's when Bhabhi questioned, "Yeh kya kr rhe ho tum sab?"

"Kuch na Bhabhi, Monami tu baal hata..."  Said Sanju, turning towards me and I nodded as I pushed back the hair strand and they found my ear to be empty.

They sighed as before Bhabhi could enquire, Karan said, "Bhabhi, bethiye na, hum baatein krte hain!"

Bhabhi nodded as she sat on the table along with Baby, Koel and Sanju while I sat on the other table with Karan beside me and Faizi along with Sid infront of me.

We were talking randomly when I sneakily took out the communicator and placed it back in my ear, and pulled out the hair strand once more and that's when I noticed that my small back pack which has my gun, and medical aid was on the other table but I wasn't worried knowing that no one will check it.

"Silver, we left for abandoned street. Sneha and the two girls are at Park street to handle the situation." informed Ajeet.

I didn't reacted and probably he too understood that I am infront of someone when Riya, one among the third rescue team said, "Silver, I am in Park Street, ek aadmi hai. In his late twenties probably, with spectacles. He seems like heading the team here."

Aneesh! I clenched my fists unknown to myself and my fist was tightening with each passing moment.

My trance of thoughts were broken as Baby almost shouted, "Chachi!!!"

"Hmm? Haan?" I managed to say, coming out of my thoughts.

Bhabhi looked at me quite worried as she interrogated, "Monami dhyaan kahaan hai tumhara? Aur yeh mutthi (fist) kyun bana rakhi hai? Tumhari shakal se lag rha hai ki kisika khoon krne ka iraada hai tumhara?"

On hearing her last line, I instantly loosened up my fist and forcing a smile, I said, "Nahi Bhabhi, aisa toh kuch nahi hai!"

Before anyone could enquire me further Dilbagh ji came with my hot coffee in a glass, and everyone got diverted when I heard something again, this time from Aditi, the third and last member of the third rescuing team, "Ladkiyon ko bechne ke liye, aadhi ladkiyon ko yahin rakha gya hai..."

And here, I got lost in thoughts again trying to calm my rising anger when someone snatched the glass from my hand and the person was none other than Karan as Sid yelled, "Monu what are you doing? Abhi hot coffee apne upr hi gira leti toh..."

"Sorry." That's all I said, leaving everyone baffled.

I held the cup once again when this time what I heard broke my patience, as I heard Sneha saying shocked, "Yeh toh Gunjan ma'am ki beti hai na? Yeh yahaan kaise!?"

Aashna!

That's it, I slammed the glass on the table, breaking it and got up from my chair with a jerk as everyone started to question me worried, but their voices didn't reached my ears as I decided that I am setting the maxima, I am setting the limits now!

I took my bag from the table and planting a kiss on Baby's forehead, I spoke up, "Main usse safely leke aaungi. Soldiers Promise!"

Not letting anyone respond, I walked out of the cafeteria, and allowed Silver to lead the way.
