“What the heck is up with you two?” I asked Roxy and Ethan who seemed to be so tired they couldn't eat. “Tried.” The both answered.

“What did you two do last night?” Ella asked. “Stuff…” They both answered again. “Like?” Elinor asked but the both fell asleep again.

“So.. tiered..” Roxy groaned. “Luckily, any class today for anyone in the dragon games are cancelled for them.” Ella smiled as Roxy gave her a thumbs up.

“Come on Mavis we got train, for the mini games I entered you in the beauty part if the dragon games.” Ella smiled as she grabbed Mavis had and all the girls went to the stables.

“Hey Crumpets.” I greeted as I rubbed the top of crumpets head. “So you nervous for tomorrow?” I asked Crumpets as she looked away from me.

“Crumpets has always been pretty nervous dragon. She's never been good in crowds. Ever since she was a baby she never really socialized with other dragons or people. I was really surprised when she got really close to you.” Ella explained as I smiled.

“I guess I know how she feels I never was a big people person. I it's okay I'm scared too. I really don't do beauty contest but that's why we're gonna try to change okay?” I promised her as Crumpets nodded.

“Now hand me those flowers, the blue and purple ones.” Ella ordered but before I could pick up the flowers I heard a roar from behind the gold doors.

“Jinx! We have to practice, which means you need to wear a saddle!” Charlotte explained from behind the doors.

Suddenly the doors opened to reveal Charlotte riding on Jinx. “I'm gonna give Roxy and Braebyrn some tips for the racing part of the Dragon Games.” Charlotte said as her and Roxy walk out to the field.

“Okay, I think that should do it!” Ella smiled as I walked up to Crumpets. She had blue and purple flowers all down her back. She also had on a purple saddle, and her claws were painted a shiny blue color.

“Wow you did a great job Ella.” I complimented as Ella smiled.

“Thanks, I'm gonna go help Maya with sky obstacle course.” Ella said as she and Prince Of Scales walked out to the field.

“You look really pretty, Crumpets.” I complimented as Crumpets roared softly. “I know I'm nervous too. I usually overthink things too much and I psych myself out. But I'm trying not to do that anymore.” I sighed as I gave Crumpets some carrots.

“Everyone thinks since I'm at newbie I can't win this. But I think I can, we're gonna show them we can! Right, Crumpets?” I asked with determination. Crumpets nodded as I smiled.

Later that day

“Welcome one and all to the first part of the Dragon Games! We're your host Rosebella an-” Rosebella then got cut off. “And Bella.” Bella continued. “This competition will be split into six days.” Rosebella started.

“Day 1: Beauty.”

“Day 2: Speed.”

“Day 3: Talent.”

“Day 4: Agility.”

“Day 5: Strength.”

“Day 6: Dragon Games.”

“If you win one of the contest your teams gets 50 points the two teams with the highest points after the first 5 days will go on to play in the final day. Our beauty portion of the Dragon Games will start in 10 minutes.” Bella announced.

“I actually really like this outfit Ella.” I complimented as I got on Crumpets.

I have a braid on each side of my head that meet at the back and are secured with a gold accessory.

I wore a light teal top with a yellow ruffle in the center and a two tiered skirt, the top layer purple with yellow polka dots, and the bottom layer white and teal stripes.

I also have on slate grey leggings have a gold teacup design and bronze boots. I have bronze shoulder armor with a purple jewel and a matching waist piece and bracer.

“Your welcome Mavis, now get out there and get us our first win.” Ella smiled at me as me and Crumpets walked out on the field.

“We will now start our beauty portion of the Dragon Games. Our contestants are: Mavis Stardust and Crumpets from team Soul Wings. Elena Rose and Featherweight from team Phantoms Rebels. Ashley Ortiz and Legend from team Destiny Crusaders. And Luna Miles and Starburst from team Supreme Pack.” Bella introduced.

This arena was huge! It consists of an open field with marked sport lines in the green grass, with thick all wall around it, with windows and pillars and stone bleachers sculpted in it.

In each corner there is a planted tree tower with a base on top and red flags flowing from it, and the equipment needed to play the game, two long golden hoop goals.

There is a stage in the opposite side of the big archway door, with a jumbo sized TV, with two dragon statues to each side, one is black and one is white.

“You will have 30 minutes take your dragon beautiful as possible. You may begin now.” Rosebella announced as pretty big tent appeared around me and Crumpets.

“Okay Crumpets let's start.” I smiled as I grabbed the purple and blue flowers and put them all down her back. I then put some purple ones on the sides of the front of her body.

30 minutes later (No Ones POV)

“Okay we will now start the judging.” Bella announced. “Okay don't be nervous Crumpets, whatever we get I know we did amazing.” Mavis reassured Crumpets.

“We will start with Luna and Starburst.” Rosebella announced as the judges started to examine Starburst and went back to the judges table.

“The judges will now reveal their scores on a scale 1-5 points.”

Judge 1: 3

Judge 2: 5

Judge 3: 2

Total: 10!

Luna smiled and so did Starburst.

“Next is Ashley and Legend.”

Total: 6

The judges them moved to Elena and Featherweight.

Judge 1: 4

Judge 3: 5

Total: 13

As the judges walked towards Mavis and Crumpets they were both nervous.

Total 14!

“There you have it folks out winner of the first round is Mavis Stardust and Crumpets! 50 points have been awarded to Team Soul Wings!” announced Rosebella as Mavis hugged Crumpets.

“See I told you we can do this!” Mavis smiled as she got on Crumpets and flew around the outside of the academy with a smile on her face.

Later that night

As Mavis walked into her dorm room Noah hugged her. “Congrats Mavis!” Noah congratulated her as she smiled. “Only 4 more wins and we get to play in the final rounds!” Maya cheered.

“Their getting stronger, and so am I, but I need more magic.” I smirked as I looked into the crystal ball.

“We must strike those 6 puny kids now your Highness!”

“Not yet, wait just a little bit longer. Then we will strike for now just wait.” I assured him.
