C H A R L O T T E

"Potions?" I asked Elinor as I looked at the schedule. "Yeah, us three have potions right now. And Mavis and Roxy have herbology." Maya answered. "Who the heck is Professor Shawn?" Elinor asked. "Obviously, he teaches potions." I answered. "No, really I thought he teaches flying!" Maya added sarcastically as we went up the stairs. "Here it is room 115." Elinor said as the three of us stood in front of the red door. As we opened the door everyone looked at us. "You're late." Professor Shawn observed as we sat down at one of the tables.

"Now that everyone is here we can finally start." He said as he passed out the book to each of us. "This is the standard book of potions volume one, the rules are simple, Rule #1) No talking unless you are called on. Rule #2) only open to the lesson that we are on. Rule #3) Follow the directions to a tea. And rule #4) Never try to do any advanced potions till I give you permission to. With that said open your books to page 12." He explained. "Strict much," I whispered to Elinor and Maya. "Miss Charlotte, what is rule number 1?" Professor Shawn asked in that weird deep voice of his. "No talking unless you are called on," I answered. "And, what did you do?" Professor Shawn asked again. "Talked in class without being called on," I answered.

"Exactly, now since this is the first day of the first semester and I'm in a good mood I'll let you off with a warning Miss Charlotte." Professor Shawn warned me as he walked back to the front of the class. How is he in a good mood!? "Today we will be making the potion Felix Felicis" Professor Shawn announced as he clapped his hands and mixture cultures appeared on the table. "The recipe is in the book, your table has 20 minutes to make this potion, you may begin now." He announced as I looked down at the recipe.

Add Ashwinder egg to a cauldron, then add horseradish and heat.

Juice a squill bulb, add to the cauldron and stir vigorously.

Chop up anemone-like growth on the back of Murtlap, add to mixture and heat.

Add a dash of tincture of thyme and stir slowly.

Grind up Occamy eggshell and add to mixture.

Stir slowly then heat the cauldron.

Add a sprinkle of powdered common rue.

Stir vigorously then heat the cauldron one last time.

Wave wand over potion in a figure of eight and say incantation 'Felix Empra!'

After I finished the potion he came to our table. "Right color...the leaf does not disintegrate. For a couple of the first year, I'm pretty surprised." He complimented somewhat. "You have earned an A, class dismissed." He said as we left the classroom.

R O X Y

"So how was herbology?" Charlotte asked. "There where these plants that screamed like crazy. And i think I blew out my ear drum." I answered as we walked to the field. "Welcome class to your first flying lesson. Now before we begin are there any questions?" Miss Melanie asked as Elinor raised her hand. "I thought we're flying on brooms?" Elinor asked as Miss Melanie laughed a little. "Follow my class." She answered as we followed her to what see to be a stable of some sort. "We will be flying on these." She answered as she opened the stable doors to see dragons. "Oh...my...god.." I started. "Well go on class go pick one out," Melanie said as we walked into the stables. They were so colorful! Walked around the stables no of them really caught my eyes until I passed one I really liked.

It is a four-legged dragon with a regal complexion, with golden scales with ivory and red accents, which accumulate around the muscle and chest. Its wings are big and have designs like swirls, branches, and leaves, and the horns are a similar way, fading into a lighter gold, as does the long tail, which ends in a tuft of yellow fur, she also had blue eyes with thick eyelashes. "Why hello cutie." I smiled as I scratched under the dragon's chin. "I think I'll call you Braebyrn."

M A V I S

I seriously found the cutest dragon I have ever seen. It is a four-legged dragon with a regal complexion, with a color scheme consisting of teal scales with purple and gold accents. Her wings are big and have a pattern similar to a labyrinth of sorts, or just random swirls. The horns are a curled, as is her long tail, which ends in a tuft of blue and magenta hair. The legs have sharp claws and fade to purple, and she has big yellow eyes surrounded by thick eyelashes. "Well you're obviously the cutest thing I've ever seen, so I'm gonna name you Crumpets." I smiled as I patted his head.

E L I N O R

The dragon I chose was so cool! It has thorn-like purple horns, green eyes, and long lashes. There are shocking-pink circles around her eyes and is covered in purple scales. She has pink bows on her tail, which is purple with streaks of pink. "Well, I'm gonna call you Brushfire." I smiled as I opened the pen where the dragon was in to get a better look at her.

M A Y A

I looked around the stables until I came upon one that was sleeping. It overall bears a bright and tri-colored complexion. Around his chest area, he has golden swirls parted by small pink flowers. Golden curves run down his front while pink scales run down his back. It has a small tuft of purple fur at the back of his head. He has purple and pink gradient wings and feet. It then started to wake up as It stared into my eyes. "Wow..." was the only thing I could really say. "She's a Nervira heart fang, very rare kind they found him when he was a baby." The girl next to me explained. "I'm Ella." The newfound Ella introduced. "Maya." I introduced as she shook my hand. I looked over to the pen where she was standing at.

It is a white dragon with a gem on her forehead, white and purple wings, and a white tail with a purple tuff of hair at the end. Her chest is adorned with silver and her scales at her front are green. On the underside of her wings, is a pattern of swirls "You know what I think the pink dragon likes you more." I smiled. "Are you sure?" Ella asked. "Yeah you two seem to have a special connection," I answered ad the walked up to the dragon. "Yeah, I guess we do." Ella agreed. "I'm gonna name him Prince Of Scale." Ella decided as I looked back at my dragon. "I think I'll call you Deejay." I smiled.

C H A R L O T T E

I walked to the back of the stabled to see these gold door with blue handles. "Are you sure you wanna go in there, newbie?" Melissa asked as I turned my head towards her. "I'm pretty sure I'll be fine," I answered as I opened the doors and walked in closing them behind me.

It was pretty dark until the candles on the walls lit up revealing a sleeping dragon. It is a four-legged dragon with a regal complexion, with a color scheme consisting of pitch black scales with metallic blue and white accents, which accumulate around the muzzle and chest. Her wings are big and are similar to those of bats and feature flame-like imagery, in white. The horns are a curled backward and have spikes, as does the long tail, which ends in a tuft of pastel pink, blue and magenta hair. The legs have sharp claws and she has big red eyes surrounded by a thick metallic blue brow, that's crusty and has divided into lightning bolts in the ends, and in between the two eyes, there's a permanent headdress of several gemstones in some kind of pattern.

She then opened one of her red eyes and stared at me. It was a little scary at first. I started walking closer to it little by little until I got to the front of its face. "You really are beautiful, miss dragon." I complimented as I placed my hand on the top of her head. "I'm gonna call you Jinx."

No one's POV

"Where is she? The class is already over we should be at lunch by now." Roxy complained. It's been 1 hour since the girls seen Charlotte. "We have to go, maybe she'll meet us for lunch," Mavis suggested as they walked to lunch.

C H A R L O T T E

Apparently, I fell asleep on Jinx, I looked at my watch to see I've been asleep for an hour now. "Hey, Jinx." I greeted as Jinx woke up also. I then heard footsteps coming towards us. "Jinx! I have to hide." I warned her as Jinx's tail wrapped around me putting me behind her back. "That works." I laughed a little as Jinx winked at me.

I then heard the doors open as a beam of light came through. "Come on Raven it's time for lunch." My stupid feeder, Jason cooed as he placed the food in front of me. I always hated that stupid name! For god sakes do I look like a bird to you Jason! I started eating as I looked up to see that he was sweeping. One of the most popular guys in this school and he wastes his time with me every day. I swear him and this Charlotte girl and somewhat alike. "Come on Raven you only eating some of your food. You know if you want to get better your gonna have to eat all of it." Jason remind me as I grumbled as turned away from him. "Raven... come on I know you don't like to take the medicine but you have to." Jason said as he tried to feed me the pill but I spit it out.

"Raven, if you don't take the medicine their gonna keep you here longer. And I know you don't want to have an owner, we've tried everyone in the academy but you just shut them down, even me your gonna have to choose an owner one of these days!" Jason warned me as I rolled my eyes. "Has anyone come in here today?" Jason asked as I shook my head. "Raven, are you lying to me?" Jason asked as he stared at me as I raised my eyebrow. "Raven, someone came here didn't they?" Jason asked as I nodded. "Boy or girl?" He asked as I grabbed a nearby stick and wrote the letter G in the dirt. "Do you like her?" Jason asked as I nodded. "That's a first." Jason scoffed as I rolled my eyes. "So did she asked to be your owner?" Jason asked as I nodded. "Did you say yes?" Jason asked as he leaned up against me. I nodded as Jason looked at me surprised.

"She must be really special if she made you say yes." Jason smiled. "So who is she anyway, did you find out her name?" Jason asked as I grabbed the stick and wrote out CHARLOTTE. "Charlotte huh?" Jason asked as I pulled Charlotte out from behind my back. "Jinx! Your gonna get me in trouble on my first day." Charlotte warned me as I undid my tail from her waist. "So this is Charlotte?" Jason asked as I nudged Charlotte closer to Jason. "Charlotte Omega." She introduced. "Jason Santos." He introduced. Let's see how this plays out. "So you're the girl who chose Raven?" Jason asked. JINX! My name is Jinx! J-I-N-X! "Yes, and her name is Jinx," Charlotte answered. "No, her name is Raven." Jason corrected her. "No her name is Jinx," Charlotte said. "I'm pretty sure her name is Raven." Jason reminded her. "I think I would remember if I named her Raven," Charlotte smirked.

"Jinx!"

"Raven!"

"Jinx!"

"Raven!"

"Jinx, which do you like better Jinx or Raven?" Jason asked as I wrote out Jinx in the dirt. "Ha! Told Ya!" Charlotte said smugly. "So why are you still in R-Jinx's pen?" Jason asked as the both of them sat up against the side of my  stomach "I fell asleep on Jinx and kinda lost track of time." Charlotte answered as Jason laughed. "I did the same thing the first time I took care of Jinx." Jason smiled as Charlotte chuckled. "Is this your first time at the academy?" Jason asked. "Yeah." She answered. There is something about the both of them that I can work with. I kinda ship them two. I looked out the window to see it was night and the stars were out. I looked up to see that the sunroof wasn't that far up. I then shoot fire at the sunroof causing it to burst open. I looked back at Jason and Charlotte to see that they looked up.

"The stars are really pretty tonight," Jason observed. "Yeah, they really are." Charlotte agreed. "Hey look it's the Big Dipper." Jason pointed out. "Yeah, and Orion's belt" Charlotte added as the pointed to the left of the sky. Charlotte and Jason continued to talk for hours and suddenly fell asleep next to each other. I grabbed the blanket beside me and pulled it over the two of them. I smiled at the two of them. Yeah, I ship them two. I definitely do.
