The next morning (J A S O N)

I opened my eyes to see that Charlotte fell asleep on my shoulder. I moved the strands of her blue hair out of her face. I then looked up to see Jinx was looking at smirking. "What's with the smirk?" I asked as Charlotte and back at me wiggling her eyebrows. "Jinx! Stop thinking like that!" I scolded as Jinx still smirked. Her tail then pushed me closer to her. "I know what you're trying to do," I said as I looked at my watch. First class doesn't start until 8 and it's 6!? I saw Jinx's tail lock the doors. "You did not just lock us in here?" I asked as Jinx nodded.

"Why are you doing this? You never did this with the other girl, so why are you doing this with her?" I asked as Jinx wrote out the word SPECIAL in the dirt. "Special?" I asked as wrote out the word DIFFERENT in the dirt this time. "Different? What you're saying she different from other girls?" I asked as Jinx sighed. She then wrote out the words TO and the word YOU in the dirt. "Huh?" I asked. She then drew arrow connecting the word SPECIAL to the word TO and another arrow to the word YOU. "So you think that I think that she's special to me?" I asked as Jinx nodded. She then wrote the words LIKE and HER.

"I barely met her Jinx! Yeah, she's a nice friend but I barely know anything about her!" I shot back but Jinx wrote GET and TO, the word KNOW and HER. "Jinx! There are plenty of different people in this academy that I already know a lot about! So why in the world do want me to her to know her?" I asked as Jinx sighed. She then wrote the words SHIP and YOU. "You ship us? In the 24 hours I've known her, you can't possibly ship us!" I shot back as Jinx rolled her eyes as she pushed me and Charlotte making her fall on top of my chest. "Jinx! What the heck are you doing?" I asked as she wrote the word KISS in the dirt.

"Jinx are you insane! I can't kiss her now, I barely know her and she's asleep!" I explained as Jinx wrote the words. PRINCE IN SLEEPING BEAUTY DID IT. "Do I look like the Prince in sleeping beauty!? And did she get pricked by a spinning wheel?" I asked as Jinx used one of the sharp scales on her tails and pricked her finger, surprisingly she was still asleep. "You just pulled out all the stops haven't you Jinx?" I asked sarcastically as I looked at my watch to see it was barely 6:30!? Is time moving slowly or something?! Jinx then pointed the stick at the word KISS again. "I said no!" I whispered trying not to wake Charlotte. Jinx then wrote. YOU KNOW YOU LIKE HER in the dirt. "But as a friend! A friend! F-R-I-E-N-D!" I spelled it out for her. She then wrote out GIRLFRIEND.

"I don't want her to be my girlfriend! Yeah she nice, and pretty and smells like roses, but that doesn't mean I like her!" I explained as I looked at Charlotte he was sleep. Hopefully, this is the last of Jinx's tricks. I think I see why Charlotte called her Jinx! "Is this all you got Jinx?" I asked as Jinx smirked as her tail lifted up my hand placing it on her waist. "Jinx! She's gonna think I'm a creep if she wakes up seeing us like this!" I warned her as Jinx rolled her eyes and grabbed my phone from my pocket. "What are you doing?" I asked and before I knew it the song 'Ma Belle Evangeline' started to play. "Seriously Jinx. The song Ma Belle Evangeline. What in the world is this for?" I asked as she wrote SET THE MOOD

"The mood really? She asleep for goodness sakes I think her mood is tired." I laughed as Jinx pulled a disco ball from behind her back and raised it up to the sun causing it to sparkle. "Where did you get a disco ball!?" I asked as Jinx wrote YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW in the dirt.

"Jinx, can you stop this! She gonna wake up any minute now." I warned her as Charlotte woke up. She looked down to see that she was laying on my chest.

"I-I'm, u-um... I-I... u-uh.." Charlotte struggled to saw with her face flushed.

"Ch-Charlo-Charlotte... I um... Jinx did it." I also struggled to say as Jinx winked at us. I could feel her heartbeat my chest Boom... boom... boom "You probably think I'm a creep now don't you?" I asked. "Actually, I don't, I actually felt nice sleeping like this..." Charlotte admitted as she blushed. "It actually did feel nice. You sleeping on my chest. I could actually feel your heartbeat." I admitted. I looked into Charlotte's eyes, those big black eyes that sparkle like the night sky. Wait why am I thinking like this!? I looked down at my watch to see it was only 6:45!? What is with time today?? "Charlotte... um, you wanna hang out today, you can meet me at the pool," I asked. "Of course," Charlotte answered as she fell asleep on my chest again.

An hour later (R O X Y)

"I found her! Awww aren't they cute." I gushed as I saw Charlotte lying on some guy chest. "Wake up Charlotte we have to get to school." I shook her as little as she woke up. "We have to get to class come on!" I warned her as we ran to class.

After School (C H A R L O T T E)

"Where the heck is he?" I asked myself as I got into the pool. I was wearing a red two-piece with a black bow on the side of the top part. "Charlotte?" Jason asked as I came up from the water. And sat on the side of the pool. "Hey, Jason. You coming in?" I asked.

She wants me to come in the water!? While she wearing that!? Why does she look so pretty in that? "Well, you coming in or not?" Charlotte asked. "Yeah I'm coming in, just let me get changed first," I answered as I went to her changed. A couple of minutes late I can out without a shirt in black swimming trunks. I then jumped into the water causing a big splash. Once I came back up the surface of the water. "So you know how to swim?" I asked as I floated next to her. "Yeah, I've been swimming since I was 4," Charlotte answered. "Um, about what happened this morning." I started. "It's okay. We're just here to relax and swim and get to know each other. Yeah, I saw the words on the ground." Charlotte explained.

"So um favorite candy... 1.. 2... 3" I started. "Hershey's" We both answered. "Favorite Movie?" She asked. "Star Wars." We both answered. "The last Jedi" We both answered again. "In 1997." We both answered. "Woah..." We said simultaneously. "Favorite animal?" I asked. "Tiger." We both answered. "Favorite color?" Charlotte asked. "Red." We both answered. "Favorite number?" I asked. "25. Cause it's Christmas." We both answered. "Favorite type of music?" Charlotte asked. "Classical." We both answered. "Place you wanna see when you grew up?" I asked. "Japan." We both answered. "Zodiac sign?" Charlotte asked. "Aries," Charlotte answered. "Leo," I answered.

"Were compatible." We both said. "We I have to get going, meetup here same time tomorrow?" I asked. "Oh, I have to train Jinx tomorrow for something called Dragon Games? We can meet at the stables. Hey, you can train with me." Charlotte suggested as I nodded and left to get changed.

"Griffin! Griffin!" I yelled running through the halls until I reached our dorm room. "Griffin!" I yelled as I burst through the door. "What wrong we can hear you screaming from a mile away," Noah asked as he put down a book of spells. "Remember that girl Charlotte I was telling you about?" I asked. "Yeah, the girl that fell asleep on you this morning," Griffin answered. "The girl that renamed Raven," Noah added. "The girl that Jinx chose as her owner." Liam continued. "Yeah, we're familiar." Ethan ended. "Anyway, I got to know her and she is amazing! She the perfect person." I sighed as I sat down on the couch. "Yep we lost him, boys, he's drifted off into Charlotte world." Griffin sighed. "Not entirely maybe we can pull him out." Ethan considered.

"Favorite candy?" Liam asked. 

"Hershey's"

"Favorite color?" Griffin asked

"Red."

"Favourite movie?" Ethan asked.

"Star Wars."

"Which one?" Noah asked.

"The Last Jedi"

"Which year?" Liam asked.

"1997"

"Favorite animal?" Griffin asked.

"Tiger."

"Type of music?" Ethan asked.

"Classical."

"Place wants to fo when she grows up?" Noah asked.

"Japan."

"Zodiac sign?" Liam asked.

"Aries."

My four friends then back up and gasped. "T-Their compatible." Griffin stuttered. "We need to call you know who," Ethan suggested as he pulled out his phone.

"I heard the news," Ella said as she entered the dorm room. "Look at the damage." Ethan sighed. "Yikes. He got it bad. Who's the girl?" Ella asked. "Charlotte." I sighed in delight. "Oh her! Yay! I met her during flying class she really pretty, I also met her friend Maya. You should chat up with her Griffin." Ella suggested. "Charlotte?" Griffin asked. "No, you idiot! Maya!" Ella answered as she slapped the back of Griffin's head. "Just fix your brother! You have the blood of Cupid in you fix this!" Ethan said.

I looked at my brother carefully, and with the blood of Cupid in me, I can tell my brother was smitten for Charlotte. I can also read the part of people's brains that since you like someone. His thoughts... They were all filled with Charlotte. "So did you fix it?" Noah asked. "Nope." I started. "He's into deep, and plus I'm not gonna fix this Charlotte is his soulmate. Would you really keep him from his soulmate?" I asked as Jason laid his head on my lap. "See look in his eyes, I have never seen that look in his eyes before. You know what that look is?" I asked. "No." They all answered. "It's love you idiots. Once you four meet your soulmates you'll know how he feels. Until then there's really no way to explain it." I answer. "Nope! I called out to fix your brother you just made it worse!" Noah sighed.

"So Ella can you tell us who are soulmate is?" Liam asked. "Better question: Have you found your soulmate?" Ethan asked. "No, I can't tell you how they are until you think you find them and I'll tell you if your right," I answered. "Answer my question, Ella," Ethan asked. "Fine! I have, he just doesn't know it! That's the problem with me!" I answered. "Can't you just shoot one of those arrows at him?" Noah asked as I shook my head. "See I can't, with any other couples I could just shoot the arrows the couple and bing bang boom they're in love but it's not like that for me. He has to fall in love with me naturally. Without the arrows." I explained they all went to bed one by one and it was just me and Griffin.

"Ella, can I ask you something? But you can't tell the other boys." Griffin said. "Promise," I promised him. "What does it feel like to be in love? I never knew what it felt like. I've dated tons of people but they've never felt right. Like it wasn't loved, or true love to be exact." Griffin asked as I grabbed his hand. "You see that. That's it's the first part of love." I answered as I pointed at Jason. "Charlotte... Charlotte... mmm, Charlotte..." Jason said in his sleep. "You can't get them out of your head. They're in there 24/7." I explained. "How many parts are there?" Griffin asked. "6. Now hold on." I answer as I clapped my hands and we're in the grand hall. "This is tomorrow morning," I said.

"Hello! Jason! Earth to Jason! Jump off the crazy train!" Future Liam waved his hands in his face. "He's not even eating his pancake!? Ella, you broke him!" Griffin accused me. "Hey don't look at me I'm just doing my job!" I shot back. "Maybe he's not fully broken. Jason, who Luke Skywalker's sister?" Ethan asked. "Charlotte.." Jason sighed. "He's broken alright. Ella fixes this. I want the old Jason back." Noah requested as I rolled my eyes. "Can't." I declined as Griffin sighed. "And why is that?" Liam asked. "Cause I'm not keeping him from true love," I answered. "Step two: Friends opinions," I said as we came back to real time. "What if I never find my soulmate?" Griffin asked as I laughed. "She's so close Griffin. You'll meet her. I pro-" But before I finish my sentence my phone rang. I answered it to these that Maya was freaking out. "Okay Maya I'm on my way just slow down," I reassure her. "Griffin I got to go," I said as I almost left the dorm room.

"Oh and Griffin."

"Yeah?" He asked.

"She's right across the hall," I answered.

"What?" He asked.

"You'll see."
