At the royal court of Cheena,

Taeheong was kneeling in front of the emperor.

"You are her head eunuch! You probably knew everything since the very beginning!" The emperor pointed his bow and arrow at Taeheong.

"Your imperial Majesty, I-"

Suddenly the door opened and Liang rushed in.

"ORABEONIIIII..." She knelt down and grabbed Taeheong's arm.

"Orabeoni, he is innocent! He did nothing wrong. Don't you trust your sister, orabeoni? Please don't harm him!" She grabbed his legs and begged for mercy.

"Then will you die on behalf of him? HUH! ALL WOMEN ARE SAME. THEY ONLY KNOW HOW TO BETRAY!" The emperor pushed Liang away and glared at Taeheong as pulled the string of his bow.

Taeheong closed his eyes shut as the emperor released the arrow. But as soon as he did so, Liang came in between and took the attack. The arrow directly hit her stomach, "AHHHH" 

Taeheong opened his eyes and grabbed her in his arms, "LIANG!!!" He patted on her cheeks

The emperor clenched his jaw and threw away the bow and arrow. He grabbed his sword and as he was about to behead Taeheong.....

"THE WILL! IF YOU KILL ME, I'LL TAKE YOU DOWN WITH ME! AND DON'T THINK I'M ALONE HERE. I'VE MEN AROUND THE PALACE!"

The emperor was taken aback and shocked. He glared at Taeheong and threw away his sword. He boiled in anger and felt like losing his mind as he stormed out of the room

"Liang! H-HOLD ON...I'LL ASK JEEMIN TO-" He stood up but Liang grabbed his hanbok.

"I-I l-love y-you..." She whispered.

Taeheong cupped her cheeks, "I love you too. Please stay with me!"

Her innocent eyes stared into his eyes with tears. She was happy to hear those words from him.

"LIANG????!!!!!" Taeheong cupped her face and let his tears fall as he realized that she was already dead. He closed her eyes with his shaky hands and hugging her corpse, he cried.

In the west palace,

"Daughter!!" The old king went and hugged his daughter. He was brought here secretly by the dowager queen's court maid

"Father, at last you are here! Did you bring the woman and her child?" The dowager queen asked.

The old man nodded.

"Now I can regain my power as the empress again!" The dowager queen smirked.

"Wait what? I thought you were kidnapped or something.."

"My dear father, your work is done! You may leave now!"

"I'LL NOT LET YOU USE THOSE POOR PEOPLE FOR YOUR BENEFIT!" He blocked her way

"FATHER!!!!" She pushed the old man and he hit his head hard on the wall.

"Ahhh~~" His head was bleeding.

"Foolish old man!" She rolled her eyes

In Seongjin's room,

"Namjun is here. I was too late to inform!" Seongjin sighed while placing pins inside his flutes.

"What are these, hyungnim?" Jeemin asked.

"Poisoned pins! If I point the other end of the flute at a person I want to kill and blow hard or do a high note on the flute, the pins will come out and hit the target resulting in the person's immediate death."

"T-that's genius!" Jeemin smirked.

On the other hand, at the outskirts of Cheena,

"MEN! INCREASE YOUR PACE! WE WON'T BE ABLE TO REACH THERE ON TIME!" Jeongguk ordered the forces while riding his horse and leading the army. The army started to march faster.

Seyeon's POV

I was about to head towards the feast hall, when the court maid outside announced, "The emperor is here!"

The door slid open and the emperor entered while smiling.

I bowed at him forcing a fake smile.

He sat down and ushered me sit too, "Lets talk before going to the feast hall!" He clapped his hands two times and his servant came in with two cups and a tea pot. The servant placed them on the table and left after bowing.

The emperor grabbed a tea cup, poured some jasmine tea in it and offered me, "Here..my lady, this is for you!" He smiled.

This was weird. Out of nowhere he came in and now is offering me a cup of tea. But I didn't give it much thought as I was already depressed. I accepted the cup and sipped from it.

He poured some tea on the other cup and sipped from it while looking at me, "Let me tell you a story my mother used to tell me!"

"What on earth is he up to?", I wondered.

He began his tale, "Once upon a time, a woman was married to a man. The man loved her very much but the woman decided to cheat on her husband with another man....."

I was feeling a faint pain in my stomach. I put my hand on my tummy and caressed it.

"......then one day she became pregnant but the baby wasn't her husband's!"

Why on earth is he telling me this story though? I looked at him while he smiled at me.

"Nasty, right?" He leaned towards me and whispered.

"Hmm..." I sipped my tea.

"That's right! Now tell me whose baby are you carrying?"

I choked on my tea and looked at him in shock. His smile disappeared and darkness appeared on his face.

"I'll ask again. Whose baby is this?" He pointed at my tummy and I grabbed my tummy, the pain was increasing

"My husband's!" I said without hesitating.

"LIE! I NEVER TOUCHED YOU!" He stood up and yelled.

"Ahh...AHHH..." I crouched down on the floor, holding my tummy. "Haha...and w-who told you y-you a-re my husband? I-I never drank t-that holy wine t-to s-seal our m-arital bond!" I gasped for breath as he grabbed me by my throat and picked me up. I coughed hard while struggling to breath.

"I LOVED YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME?" He yelled at me and I still struggled to set myself free.

Suddenly I felt a warm liquid flowing down my legs. I looked down and saw blood....M-miscarriage? The pain increased and became unbearable. Tears formed in my eyes because of the intolerable pain.

"ARGHHHHH...m-my baby~~" I grabbed my tummy and cried in pain.

"The jasmine tea you gave me that day had sleeping powder in it and the jasmine tea I gave you today had the poison that leads to miscarriage!" He whispered in my ears but I couldn't reply or do anything. My energy was draining because of the immense pain. He pushed me on the floor.

"Was this baby your bodyguard's?" He asked but I just couldn't reply anything.

I cried in pain.

"Was he the one you mentioned that has your heart?"

Blood spread around the whole floor, "M-my b-b-baby..." I cried.

"ANSWER ME!!!! DID YOU EVER LOVE ME????" He pointed his dagger at me.

I managed to look at the killer of my baby and said, "No! y-you a-are a m-monster!" I said with pure hatred in my eyes.

What he did next was, he stabbed me on my chest. Blood oozed out from the wound, "Ahh~~" I collapsed on the ground, half conscious. The emperor had tears in his eyes as glared at me and left the room. The wound wasn't that deep for Jeongguk's necklace under my hanbok saved me.

But I was still in pain and my eyes were partly open. That's when the door slid open and prince Taeheong came in...his eyes were puffy and red and his hanbok was stained in blood.

"OH NO...SEYEON! PLEASE HOLD ON....I'LL GO AND CALL JEEMIN!" He cried and left quickly.

I closed my eyes as I was feeling like I was about to die.

3rd person POV,

The emperor straight away headed towards the West Palace.

"Both my sisters. The woman whom I loved, my mother, the empress....ALL...ALL WOMEN ARE TRAITORS! I WON'T LEAVE ANYONE ALIVE TODAY!" He drew his sword and kicked on the door. The door opened and the court maid who was serving the dowager queen, screamed.

"DIE!" As he was about to thrust his sword in her stomach, she screamed, "LEE SOOOOOO!!!!"

The emperor's eyes widened and he stopped.

"L-Lee Soo?"

"Greetings to His Majesty!" The emperor turned around and found a slender woman.

"Son, greet your father!" She said.

"FATHER? HUH! The father who abandoned us when I was not even born." The boy clenched his jaw.

"Soo-ah~" The emperor dropped his sword and went near the woman.

"I-is he really my son?" He asked looking at the boy and she nodded.

"Why did you leave when you were pregnant?" He asked.

"I never left. The former empress made me leave when she found out about the child!"

The emperor clenched his jaw and cursed his mother even more in his mind.

"I'm sorry, Soo-ah! I had no idea about this but I promise that I'll give you both everything that I couldn't give you because of my ignorance!"

"Ahem! You need to give something to me too, right? Since I helped you so much!" The dowager queen spoke and the emperor clenched his jaw.

"I'll give you back your position as the empress!"

The dowager queen smirked.

Outside the palace, Jeongguk had the entire palace surrounded.

"MEN! ATTACK AND BREAK THE WALLS!"

"WE'VE BEEN ATTACKED!" One of the guards was about to ring the emergency bell but an arrow pierced his heart.

All the guards and soldiers appointed at the main gate got engaged in fights after shutting down the main gate.

Half of Jeongguk's army got engaged in a fight while Jeongguk leaded the other half to the secret passage. But some of the Cheena soldiers followed them and blocked their way.

"Your Highness, we'll win, right?" The commander who was standing beside Jeongguk asked.

"Commander, I smell fear in your words! We'll only win if we are fearless!" He jumped down from his horse, ready to attack.

At the feast,

The emperor entered into the hall as everyone bowed and greeted him. He sat on the throne and looked at Namjun.

"Welcome to Cheena, my dear friend!" The emperor smiled and looked behind Namjun, "I see that you've brought two bodyguards!"

Namjun turned around to look at Yunki and Hoseong who were dressed as bodyguards, "Yes! They accompany me wherever I go!"

"I see! We shall begin the feast now!"

"But Your Imperial Majesty, this feast is in honour of the imperial noble consort! Where is she?" A person from the crowd yelled and others followed his lead and started to protest again.

"Please calm down! The imperial noble consort will be here shortly! For the time being, lets start with a musical performance!" The head eunuch said.

Seongjin entered the hall and scanned the area, he spotted the assassins and took a deep breath.

"Begin!" The emperor ordered and Seongjin began to play his flute. 1st softly and then slowly increasing his note. He pointed his flute at the assassins while playing the high notes and ended their lives swiftly while everyone was drowned in his melody.

As Seongjin's performance was about to end, the emperor looked around and wondered why didn't the assassins attack Namjun yet. But he couldn't find a single assassin. He clenched his jaw. Seongjin ended his performance and headed out.

"Next performance please!"

"YOUR MAJESTY, WE ARE NOT HERE TO SEE THESE PERFORMANCES. Didn't you say that you'll appoint the imperial noble consort as the empress tonight? That's why we all are here tonight...WHERE IS SHE?-"

"SHE CAN'T COME! I'VE KILLED THAT WHORE BECAUSE SHE WAS CARRYING HER BODYGUARD'S BABY!" The emperor yelled and a hush fell over the crowd. "AND HERE....HE IS THE HEIR OF THE THRONE AND SHE IS THE IMPERIAL NOBLE CONSORT FROM THIS DAY ONWARDS!" The emperor pointed at Lee Soo and his son who were standing among the courtiers. But the crowd was not having it.

"Whore? How can you call her a whore? When she never touched anyone other than her husband?" Taeheong entered, "YOU ARE A WHORE! YOU HAD 1000s OF CONCUBINES! AND NOW YOU'RE SHOWING YOUR ILLEGITIMATE SON TO THE CROWD...YOU FUCKING WHORE! YOU'RE A MONSTER! YOU KILLED YOUR OWN SISTER!!!" Taeheong let everything out as a hush fell over the crowd and the emperor was taken aback too.

"WHAT? LIANG IS DEAD?" A lady wearing a veil came forward and asked.

"YES! AND THIS WILL...." Taeheong grabbed the will from his hanbok and displayed it!

"IT CLEARLY MENTIONS THAT LADY YEONG IS THE HEIR OF THE THRONE!" Taeheong knelt on the floor and yelled while crying.

The lady took the will and took a look.

"SOLDIERS!!! WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING? CATCH HIM!!!"

"HALT!" The woman yelled and removed her veil.

"YEONG?!" THE EMPEROR GASPED.

"Yeong!?" Both Namjun and Hoseong were surprised.

"YOU'VE NO AUTHORITY TO ORDER THE SOLDIERS! I HOLD THE POWER TO DO THAT!" Yeong said holding the will.

"Hahahahaha...but I'm coronated. I hold the power now! GRAB THEM!" The emperor said and the soldiers attacked

"GET THE EMPEROR AND HIS FAMILY!! ENOUGH OF THIS!" The common mass yelled, broke the barricade and started to fight with the soldiers.

Yunki and Namjun took advantage of this situation and made their way out of the hall while  Hoseong pulled Yeong to a safe corner, "What are you doing here?"

"I had to come....I knew something was going to happen!" Yeong took out her dancing ribbons and started to spin them.

"Yeong, you need to go to a safe place!" He tried to explain.

She threw the ribbon and it fell around the neck of a soldier, she pulled it and choked him to death.

Hoseong kept staring, "You're full of surprises!" He said with a poker face.

"Don't worry about me. I know each and every corner of this palace!" Yeong winked.

As Namjun and Yunki went out of the hall, they found soldiers there too but they were their own soldiers!

"MEN! ATTACK!!" Jeongguk ordered and all the soldiers entered into the palace.

"Jeongguk-ah! Go to lady Seyeon, I think she is in trouble!" Namjun said and Jeongguk's eyes widened.

"GET THE KING OF GOGURYEO!" Cheena's soldiers came and attacked them

"RRRRAHHHH!!!" Yunki drew his sword and attacked them. Namjun did the same while Jeongguk ran towards Seyeon's room.

On the other hand,

"Seyeon-ah~ wake up! What answer will I give Jeongguk, huh?" Jeemin rubbed her palms while sobbing.

Yakran fanned her while crying.

Jeemin had healed her long ago but she still laid there lifeless.

That's when Jeongguk came in, "SEYEON!!" He was shocked to see her lower body drenched in blood.

"W-what happened? Seyeon-ah!" He cupped her face.

"The emperor killed your baby, Jeongguk!" Jeemin rubbed Jeongguk's back and broke the news.

Jeongguk looked at him as tears rolled down his eyes, "Seyeon, please open your eyes! Look I came back!" Jeongguk patted her cheeks but she still didn't respond. He clenched his fists and vowed to give the emperor the worst death.

"THERE IS AN UPRISING! WE MUST LEAVE THIS PLACE AT ONCE!" Seongjin entered and informed.

"WE'LL END EVERY TRACE OF THE EMPEROR'S CLAN!" They heard angry voices of the people outside.

Jeongguk threw Seyeon over his shoulder and said, "Lets leave!"

All of them ran out only to meet with more soldiers, "ISN'T THAT THE IMPERIAL NOBLE CONSORT AND HER BODYGUARD? KILL THEM!!"

Jeongguk fought with one hand because he was holding Seyeon with the other. He was fierce and whoever came near him, died within seconds. 

Jeemin threw his hand fan at them and it came back at him after cutting at least 7 throats.

Seongjin used his poisonous pins to take them down.

"Jeongguk, go away with Seyeon. We'll stop them!" Jeemin said.

"But-"

"Just go!!" Seongjin said.

Jeongguk hesitated for a moment and then left.

On the other hand, inside the empty throne room,

The dowager queen quietly went and sat on the throne.

Crossing her legs, she laughed, "This throne is mine now!"

Outside the room, battle cries were heard.

Suddenly the doors flung open and prince Taeheong walked in. His hair was messy, eyes were red, clothes were drenched in blood as he carried a sword, blood driiping from it. The sword made a screeching sound on the floor as he dragged through the marble floor. The goofy and happy looking Taeheong was vanished and his face became icy cold.

The dowager queen narrowed her eyes, "Taeheong?!"

"Knew you would be here, you power thirsty woman!" He went near the throne.

"W-what?" She was shocked to see her son's new side.

"Taeheong, you changed!"

"You made me change!"

"Tae-"

He thrusted his sword into her as blood splattered all over Taeheong's face, "AHHHHH...."

She died on the throne. Taeheong threw away his sword and looked at her without any emotions, "I guess all my tears have dried for I feel nothing for you right now." He grabbed her hand and brushed his thumb at the back on her hand, "I hope this will give justice to all the people whom you've tortured and I hope I take birth from the womb of a kind woman in my next life!"

Ahyoon and Inhyeon entered into the palace with Byeongho and found themselves in the middle of the battle.

"This is the reason why I told you both to stay in Goguryeo!" Byeongho sighed and blocked the arrows with his sword that were coming at their direction.

"N-Namjun.....I-is he ok?" Inhyeon panicked.

Ahyoon scanned the area and spotted Seongjin fighting at a distance.

"PRINCE SEONGJIN!" She called him and ran towards his direction. Seongjin was caught off guard when he heard her voice and turned towards her. His eyes widened. A soldier took the opportunity and was about to slash Seongjin. Byeongho quickly pulled Seongjin away and took the attack on himself but not before he thrusted his sword inside the soldier.

"Ughhh.." Byeongho fell on the ground as Seongjin got engaged with a fight again.

"Byeongho!" Ahyoon went near him and felt bad.

"Please tell m-my k-king t-that I-I d-did m-my j-job t-till my last br-" His body became lifeless.

"I will inform him! Please rest in peace!" Ahyoon swallowed the lump in  her throat.

"AHYOON WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING HERE?! LETS LEAVE!" Seongjin grabbed her arm but Ahyoon pushed him aside, grabbed two hairpins from her hair and threw them left and right.

Seongjin turned around to see one hairpin inside a soldier's throat and the other one was stuck in another soldier's forehead as they both lied on the ground lifeless.

"Have you been practicing throwing pins for all this while?"

Ahyoon simply shrugged and Seongjin again got engaged in a dual.

"GO TO THE BASE CAMP! DON'T STAY HERE!" He yelled while fighting.

Ahyoon nodded, grabbed Inhyeon's arm and started to run but more soldiers came in front of them. That's when two white ribbons came flying and slashed the soldiers. As the soldiers fell on the ground, Yeong came into view.

"Yeong?!" Inhyeon's eyes widened.

"I know a safe place. Lets go there!" Yeong grabbed both of their hands but Inhyeon jerked her hand away.

"How can I trust you?"

"I know you can't trust me and I know I've lots of explanations to do but please...I came here for Hoseong, I'm here to help you all!" Yeong said.

That's when more Cheena soldiers came but Jeongguk's soldiers tackled them.

"LET'S TRUST HER, YOUR MAJESTY!" Ahyoon yelled and Inhyeon nodded.

Yeong took both of them with her.

At the base camp,

Jeongguk entered into the camp holding a bowl of water when he saw Seyeon sitting on the bed, holding her stomach.

"SEYEON! YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE!" He went and hugged her tightly.

"Jeongguk..." She looked at him with tears in her eyes. "Our b-baby....." She hugged him tightly and cried her heart out.

Jeongguk rubbed her back, "I'm just glad that you're fine! After everything is ok, we can make as many babies as you want!"

Seyeon sniffed.

"BUT I'LL KILL THAT MONSTER WHO KILLED OUR BABY!" Seyeon clenched her fists and stood up from bed.

Jeongguk grabbed her and pulled her down on the bed, "I'll do it for you! You must stay here!"

"No Jeongguk! I'LL USE MY POWERS AND WITHIN SECONDS EVERYTHING WILL END!"

"You're weak now!"

"No problem. I just need an army plant!"

"We ran out of it!" Jeongguk sighed.

"What?" Seyeon closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "Ok! I'll save my powers only for the emperor! For the rest, I'll use my physical strength!"

"YOU'RE GOING NOWHERE! STAY HERE!" Jeongguk raised his voice and Seyeon was taken aback.

Jeongguk sighed and kissed on her forehead, "Stay here...for me?"

Seyeon slowly nodded. Jeongguk patted on her back, gave her the bowl of water and left.

Seyeon drank the water and narrowed her eyes, "You wish!" She stood up, grabbed one those shock proof rubber armours, grabbed a sword and left.

Seyeon's POV

As I got out from the base camp, I saw many horses were there. I jumped up on one of them and started to ride. Soon I found Jeongguk riding in front of me. He turned back and frowned.

"YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ME, DO YOU?" He shouted.

"DO YOU EVER LISTEN TO ME?" I shouted back, taking my horse just beside his horse.

He narrowed his eyes at me and nodded, "Very well! Lets get it!"

For killing my baby! I'LL END YOU EMPEROR HAO!

After we reached the palace, me and Jeongguk paired up together and started to fight against the soldiers.

Left and right I was swinging my blade and cutting down people.

"FUCK Y'ALL! Y'ALL KILLED MY BABY......TORTURED MY HUSBAND! I WILL SPARE NONE OF YOU!" I beheaded some and thrusted my sword into some. By now, I was drenched with blood.

On the other hand, Jeongguk was using his legs, arms and sword....everything to kill them. He kicked some of them, banged some of the soldiers' heads together and literally threw some other as if they were ping-pong balls.

This was the anger that both of us had buried in our heart for so long.

That's when I saw the archers.

"JEONGGUK!!! ARCHERS!!!"

He came in front of me and started to swing his sword so fast that it looked like a ceiling fan rotating at high speed. He dodged all the arrows just like that.

I looked around us and found a pool of blood and corpses. I gulped and saw someone moving among the corpses. I rushed there and pushed all the corpses and saw Yakran half dead.

"YAKRAN!!!" I pulled her out and cupped her cheeks.

"U-unnie~ P-please s-stay h-happy and l-live l-long~~" She put her blood soaked hand on my cheeks and said while tears rolled down from her eyes.

"YAKRAN! STAY ALIVE..." I looked here and there for help but there was nothing except corpses. I felt Yakran's hand that was on my cheek, falling down on my lap. I looked back at her and her motionless painful eyes were still staring at me.

"Yakran! Rest in peace!" My tears fell on her face as I closed her eyes. "I will not forgive anyone who  did this to you!"

Jeemin's POV

Rather than battling against the Cheena soldiers, I was more focused on healing our soldiers. The more I heal our soldiers, the more our strength will be intact.

Seongjin hyungnim was fighting against the soldiers and keeping them away from me so that I could focus on healing. But he was injured too. I don't know how long he will be able to do this. In fact, I was feeling a bit weary too. If I continue to mass heal people like this, I'll became exhausted and might faint again.

"AHH....JEEMIN FORGET ABOUT IT NOW! FOCUS ON HEALING!" I shook my head and focused on healing.

That's when I felt people dragging me, I turned my head to see Seongjin hyungnim crouched on the ground, holding his bleeding chest.

"HYUNG...GO TO THE BASE CAMP!!!" I yelled as I saw Seongjin hyung thrusting his sword on the ground and standing up with the support of it.

"You are a magical healer. Heal our people too!" The soldiers dragged me as I struggled to set myself free.

3rd person POV

At the royal court,

The place was empty but there were mountains of corpses inside it. The emperor was soaked in blood from top to bottom as he stared at two corpses and tears rolling down from his eyes. Those were the corpse of Lee Soo and his son.

"Here...your imperial Majesty!" The soldiers brought Namjun in and forced him to kneel down.

"Good!" The emperor smirked. "You all can go and take care of the others!" The emperor ordered and they bowed and left.

Namjun clenched his jaw and glared at him, "YOU ARE A MONSTER!"

The emperor ignored his words and was about slash Namjun. Namjun closed his eyes shut when suddenly he got pushed. He opened his eyes and saw Taeheong.

"Ahh..."Blood came out from Taeheong's mouth as blood started to spill from his chest too.

"TAEHEONG-AH!" Namjun grabbed him. "DON'T CLOSE YOUR EYES...STAY AWAKE!"

The emperor was again going to attack when a dagger came flying towards him and made a sharp cut on his arm, "UGHH.." He dropped the sword and grabbed his shoulder.

Hoseong rushed in, grabbed the emperor's hair and banged his head against the wall.

"NAMJUN TAKE HIM OUT!" He screamed and Namjun carried Taeheong out.

The emperor grabbed a sword from one of the corpse and attacked Hoseong without any warning.

"AHH!" Hoseong blocked the attack but with his bare hands. His hands started to bleed as the emperor pushed the sword towards him. Hoseong stepped on the emperor's feet hard until it bled.

"Arghh!!" The emperor grabbed his feet and groaned. Hozeong grabbed a sword from the floor and both of them got engaged in an intense dual.

"N-Namjun hyung-nim~" Taehong whispered.

"Please don't speak!" Namjun was carrying Taeheong with him to get some help.

"I-if a son is b-born to y-you, p-please n-name h-him T-Taeheong...f-for i-it'll be m-me a-after t-taking a r-rebirth-" Taeheong's body became heavy.

"TAEHEONG???!!! TAEHEONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!" Namjun stopped running and put Taeheong down gently.

"T-Taeheong??? B-brother?? Open your EYES!!!!!! YOU CAN'T LEAVE LIKE THIS!" Namjun screamed and there was no answer from Taeheong. Namjun held Taeheong's body close to his heart as he recalled their childhood memories.

"Namjun hyungnim, if you become a king then appoint me as your royal minister!"

At the base camp, Ahyoon was taking care of Seongjin while Inhyeon was sitting in silence. She was worried, anxious and didn't know why suddenly felt like crying.

"Huh?" Inhyeon put a hand on her belly and gasped.

"D-did you just kick, baby?" Inhyeon caressed her belly, smiling faintly.

Outside the palace, Yunki was slaying people as if he was cutting down bushes.

"P-PLEASE DON'T KILL ME...I'M JUST THE ROYAL PRIEST-"

Yunki beheaded him and smirked, "This one was the last one of the emperor's trusted servant!"

"LEAVE MEEEEE!!!"

That's when he heard Jeemin's voice! He ran towards them, jumped up high and attacked them. As soon as they left Jeemin, Yunki pulled Jeemin behind him. One of the soldiers tried to thrust his sword into Yunki but the latter blocked the attack. Although he blocked the attack, the tip of the soldier's sword, pierced Jeemin's chest a bit.

"Ugh.." Jeemin took a few steps back holding his chest. Yunki kicked the soldier and beheaded him and got engaged with fighting against the other soldiers. He was fighting and walking backwards because the soldiers were walking forward. Jeemin kept taking steps back too.

Jeongguk's POV

"MEN!!!! RESCUE THE INNOCENT PEOPLE! THEY ARE LOSING THEIR LIVES TOO!!!" I screamed while fighting.

"YES, YOUR HIGHNESS!" Our soldiers replied and started to rescue to common mass.

That's when I saw a soldier attempting to kill a child, I kicked the soldier and crouched down to block his attack. I was holding my blade horizontally against his vertically aligned blade. He kept pushing his blade towards me until it pierced my shoulders.

"Aishh..." I kicked the soldier, as he fell on the ground, I beheaded him. I turned around and saw that the child already ran away.

I looked at Seyeon's direction and saw her surrounded by soldiers. I was about to go and help her when she pointed her sword at the soldiers and started to spin around killing everyone at once.

"How impressive!"

I looked around and saw Yunki and Jeemin hyungnims at a distance fighting against a bunch of soldiers. At the other side, I saw the emperor and Hoseong hyungnim engaged in an intense fight. The emperor was dressed in black and had a cape tied around his neck. I clenched my jaw at him. I will end you!!!!!

Seyeon saw them too. She finished off her last opponent and ran towards the emperor's direction.

Suddenly I looked up at the trees and saw archers. Their arrows were pointed at us!

"Aish..tsk..these punks!" I grabbed my bow and arrows and without looking anywhere, I shot the arrows up at random directions.

Then again I looked up and saw all of them dead. I took an arrow and kissed on its tip, "Practicing with blindfolds is finally paying off...huh!" I smirked and started to slay the other soldiers with my sword.

Seyeon's POV

I ran towards the emperor! That's it! I'll destroy you and end everything. Suddenly I saw Jeemin and Yunki fighting at a distance. The soldiers surrounding them were too many. I should first go and help them...they are fighting at the edge of the cliff.

Jeemin's POV

I was fighting the soldiers with a spear and Yunki hyungnim was still walking backwards and fighting against them bravely.

Suddenly an archer shot an arrow at Yunki hyung but he caught it and broke it into two pieces and continued to slash the soldiers.

I threw my spear and it pierced a soldier.

"ARGHH!" I heard Yunki hyung's voice as I turned around, I saw two arrows on Yunki hyung's chest.

"HYUNGNIMMMMMM....." I ran towards him when a soldier slashed my back..."Ahh!!"

"JEEMIN!!!" Seyeon ran towards me but the remaining three soldiers blocked her way.

Yunki hyungnim lost his balance and was about to fall off the cliff when I grabbed his hand, "HYUNGNIMMM!!!"

Seyeon somehow slayed the three of them and as she was about to ran towards us, one of the soldiers who was half dead on the ground, somehow managed to make a shallow cut on Seyeon's leg, "AHH.." She knelt down thrusting her sword on the ground.

Yunki hyungnim was losing his consciousness an his body was becoming heavy for me to pull.

"Ahh.." I was about to fall from the cliff too but Seyeon managed grabbed my arm with one hand and the stem of a tree with the other.

3rd person POV

The emperor tried to thrust his sword into Hoseong's stomach but he was able to dodge it and his sword only pierced the side of his stomach.

"Ahhh.." He grabbed his tummy and crouched down.

"HOLD ON JEEMIN!" The emperor turned his head at the familiar voice and saw Seyeon.

"I-imperial n-noble consort?" His eyes widened and he took a few steps back in shock seeing the new side of Seyeon he never saw.

That's when he recalled what people told him.

"She has the ability to destroy this whole kingdom!"

"I SWEAR BY THE GOD OF CHEENA, EMPEROR HAO. IF I HAVE DONE ANYTHING RIGHT IN MY LIFE, THEN I CURSE YOU THAT YOU WILL BE KILLED BY THE ONE WHO YOU WILL LOVE THE MOST!"

"NO NO..THIS CAN'T HAPPEN!!"

That's when Jeongguk kicked the emperor.

"YOU-"

"You beat me up way too hard at that time. I couldn't return it back so!" Jeongguk spun around and landed double kicks on the emperor's head and the emperor fell on the ground. Jeongguk grabbed the emperor's collars and landed punches on his face, "THESE ARE FOR LAYING YOUR EYES ON MY WIFE AND KILLING MY BABY!"

"JEONGGUKKKKK!!!" Jeongguk turned around at the sudden scream and saw Seyeon trying to pull Jeemin and Yunki up. The stem she was holding on to for support, was breaking too.

He quickly left the emperor and ran towards Seyeon, "SEYEON...WAIT..."

Seyeon's POV

I called for Jeongguk and saw him running towards me.

"Heal~" I heard Jeemin and as soon as I turned my head, he let go of my hand as both mine and Yunki's bodies glowed, healing our wounds but Yunki looked lifeless.

"JEEMINNNNNNN!!" I extended my arm for him to grab it but he hugged Yunki and fell off the cliff.

"Stay happy, Seyeon~"

That's when lighting and loud thunder noises occurred and from below the cliff bright lights came. I closed my eyes instinctively.

Jeongguk's POV

I was almost there when Seyeon screamed "JEEMINNNNN"...thunder and lightning occurred and I was blinded by the immense light. When I opened my eyes, it was raining hard and Seyeon was crying hard while sitting on the ground. Before I could go and embrace her in a hug, an arrow embraced her. I turned around and saw the emperor with a bow. He was hardly standing. THAT MONTSER.

But I ran towards Seyeon, "SEYEON-"

"ARGHHHHHH DESTROYYYYYYYY!!!!" She screamed and lightning formed in her palms, hitting everything and everyone.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!" I heard the emperor's scream. All the Cheena soldiers who were left, died too.

I saw Seyeon losing her consciousness, I rushed towards her and held her in my arms, "SEYEON-AH!!! I TOLD YOU NOT TO COME HERE! WHY DID YOU NOT LISTEN TO ME?!" I cried but she never replied.

3rd Person POV

As Jeongguk held Seyeon in his arms and mourned, the sun rose from behind him, lightning up the long dark and bloody night.

Yeong entered the scene with a crown. She held Hoseong in her arms and caressed his cheeks.

Hoseong smiled at her weakly, "We won! It is all over now!" She nodded with a smile and looked at the direction where the emperor laid lifelessly.

She put down Hoseong's head on the ground gently and went towards the emperor, "You deserved a worse death than this for what you did to your people! But rest in peace, orabeoni! I'll make sure you are buried well!" She said looking at his burnt face without any emotion and then made her way towards Jeongguk and placed the crown on his head, "Cheena needs you, Jeon Jeongguk. And since I'm the rightful heir of the throne, I give it to you!"

Jeongguk closed his eyes and his tears fell on Seyeon's face.

The royal minister dabbed a napkin at the corner of his eyes as the royal author finished reading the book.

"Such a heartbreaking story our emperor had!" The minister sighed.

"But you didn't mention how the empress was coronated!" The minister narrowed his brows at him.

"I've written but let the emperor recite it for us!" The author winked.
