Ahem! So before starting today's chapter, lets talk about Mr. Park Jeemin's math. So you see, he is an astronaut, so we are gonna pretend that he is faster than a calculator, ok? And same goes for Miss Shin Seyeon!

Yunki was sitting on the other side of the lake. He was fully soaked in water, water was dripping from his hair and his scar was visible again.

"That's it! I'm so near to my goal!" Yunki smirked looking at the palace that was standing on the other side.

Inside the imperial palace,

Jeemin's POV

"Then you must find of a plan to reach Cheena at the end of these six months." Seyeon shrugged.

"I will! Let Yunki hyungnim regain the empire, then I'll definitely come up with something within these six months to pay a visit to Cheena!" I nodded at my own decision.

"Ok but you should worry about your wedding more!" She said fixing her hair.

"What do you mean?" I narrowed my eyes.

"What if Min Yunki is unable to make it on time and you end up marrying a man?" She asked with an unreadable expression. I couldn't make it whether she was joking or being serious.

"You don't know him, Seyeon. That man keeps his promise and I know he'll make it on time."

That's when she looked up to meet my gaze, "You trust him a lot, don't you?"

I went near her and sat down, "I do!"

She smiled and nodded at me and then again focused on her reflection on the mirror. She ran her fingers through the pretty stones on the necklace that Jeongguk gave him and smiled. I sighed.

"You shouldn't become fond of him that much. You'll be here for just another six months!" I said.

She looked at me and tilted her head, "I told you I'm not returning!"

She indeed did! But I thought she was just joking...s-she was being serious?

"Seyeon-ah, are you out of your mind?" I grabbed her shoulders.

"Jeemin, we already had this discussion before, didn't we?" She frowned.

"I thought you were joking? That's why I joked too about taking Yunki hyung with me to our time." I frowned.

"Did I laugh while telling you that I won't leave?"

"You don't laugh when you joke, Seyeon. I know you for the past 5 years! You got that poker face going on always, so its hard to say when you are joking and when you are not!" I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Oh God, Jeemin! I made a promise to Jeongguk and I love him more than anything. I can't live without him now!" She confessed.

"What about your family and friends whom you knew since your birth? Will you abandon everything for just one guy? And think about the change you will bring to the history and to the world!" I tried to explain.

She looked away from me. I cupped her face to force her look at me.

"Think again, Seyeon. Is that what you really want?"

She stared into my eyes for awhile and replied, "Yes! My world now revolves around prince Jeongguk! And don't bring up my family again. Besides, even if I return with you, we're always stuck in the NASA headquarters anyways. And about change, don't you think we both brought two huge changes already?"

"What do you mean?" I raised a brow.

"Two of the greatest warriors of this time are still alive, Jeon Jeongguk and Min Yunki! We are the reason why they are still alive, Jeemin!" She paused and grabbed my arm. "Why are you being like this, Jeemin-ssi?" She looked into my eyes with her pleading eyes, "Why do you so desperately want me to return with you? Ok keep aside my situation, tell me what will happen to your Yunki hyungnim after you leave?"

"Seyeon!" I grabbed her arm and pulled her closer, "I love Yunki as my hyung! I respect him and I wanna help him but I am a man too!"

She looked at me and blinked her eyes and then asked, "What are you trying to say?"

"What about us, Seyeon? I was with you for the past five years. We worked together and stayed together but in just these few months, you fell for a guy who is literally not from our time. And now because of him you are ready to abandon your everything?"

"J-Jeemin? What are you talking about?" She asked getting more confused.

"Seyeon-ah, you never understood me! Do you have any idea how scared I was when I couldn't find any trace of you here? And as for your promise, if you are saying that you have promised Jeongguk to stay with him here then did you forget that you have also promised me on my birthday that you'll return back to our time once we find a way out and that we'll publish our black hole theory together? But now out of nowhere you are saying that you want to live here...what do you think that makes me feel?" I asked with tears in my eyes. She gulped looking at me. She tried to say something but couldn't form any words. Ultimately she sighed and proceeded to wipe my tears when suddenly the door slid open-

"Seyeon, we-"

It was Jeongguk. He looked happy but his smile faded as soon as he saw us. That's when we both realized that we were extremely close to each other. I soon let go of her hand and she took a few steps back from me.

Seyeon went towards Jeongguk, "Jeongguk-"

"'Prince Jeongguk', for you!" He said coldly. Seyeon was taken aback by his comment.

"Seems like I interrupted you both, I'm sorry!" He tilted his head to shoot glares at me. If only glares could kill people, I would've been dead by now.

"You're misunderstanding, prince Jeongguk. It is nothing like that. It was just a friendly talk!" I tried to explain. No matter what, I don't want Seyeon to be hurt. I don't know what had gotten into me and why did I say all that to her. I regretted everything with a long sigh.

Jeongguk gave me one last look and turned around to leave.

Seyeon, "Jeon-"

"Don't dare to follow me, lady Shin!"

He closed the door harshly and spoke from behind the the closed door, his voice was icy cold, "Oh and I came here to inform you that we all are going to Cheena. Everyone is already on board and I'm going too. Hope you can join soon!"

"JEONGGUK..WAIT!!!" Seyeon tried to open the door but it didn't open.

That punk locked the door from outside?

"I don't see anyone here now. So once I'm out of here, I'll send someone to unlock the door for you!" I heard Jeongguk's voice again.

"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS????" Tears started to form in Seyeon's eyes.

"Why? I just want you to be h-happy......" I thought his voice was breaking. There was a short pause before he continued with his icy cold voice again, ".....you'll get extra time with your friend. Besides I don't want you to follow me!" 

"YAAA JEONGGUK, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?" I yelled but in response I just heard footsteps fading away from the other side.

Seyeon banged on the door and cried, "JEONGGUK!!!"

"Aish...tsk tsk...that jerk!!!" I went near Seyeon and patted on her back. She hugged me in response and started to cry even more.

"W-w-why is he d-d-doing this to me? W-w-why is he a-always so heartless?" She cried burying her face on my chest.

I hesitated for a bit but then patted on her head slowly, "Its ok, he misunderstood and got jealous. I'm sure once you explain everything to him, he'll understand. Don't cry, Seyeon. Everything will be fine." She just sniffed in response. After she calmed down a bit, I whispered in a calm voice, "Seyeon, you've exactly six months to think about which promise you're gonna keep."

The door opened as a maid bowed, "I'm here to escort you, milady."

"You should go now. See you again after six months!"
