"And what makes you think that I'll help you after you destroyed my precious hanbok?" Jeongguk asked with a smirk.

I swear this guy gives me mixed feelings. One time he is super sweet and the other time he is a jerk. One time I feel like hugging him and the other time I feel like beating the crap out of him.

"Why are you staring at me like that? If you want to come to Goguryeo and if you don't want to leave me then you should do something by yourself!" He smirked.

"YES, I'LL DO!!!!!" I turned around to leave but his words kept running in my head. "AND NO......I DON'T WANT TO GO TO GOGURYEO BECAUSE OF YOU. I WANT TO GO THERE BECAUSE OF PRINCESS AHYOON!!!!!!" I stared daggers at him and left. I could hear him laughing behind me...UGH!!!!!!!!

After a while, in the courtroom,

"Goguryeo has accepted the king's marriage treaty and has sent me to take the bride to Goguryeo!" Jeongguk bowed in front of king Hoseong and presented him with the decree.

"I'm pleased. I've finished preparing everything for my sister's marriage. You can take her with you whenever you want to" Hoseong smiled.

"I would like to take the princess right now, if that is ok, your Majesty!"

Hoseong nodded, "Dear Ahyoon, get ready!"

"YOUR MAJESTY!!!!!!!!!!" I came forward and stood next to Jeongguk.

"Yes, Seyeon?"

"I want to go back to my hometown, Goguryeo." I bowed and looked at Jeongguk who smirked at me.

"But this can't happen, Seyeon, I can't send a warrior with Ahyoon else it'll be her in-laws' insult."

"Orabeoni, please. I want her to be with me as well!" Ahyoon requested as well.

"No No. This can't be-"

"It's ok, your majesty. I'll manage everything. She can come." Jeongguk spoke up and I was shocked.

"Are you sure that this won't offend the king?" King Hoseong asked with concern for his sister.

"Trust me. He will be ok with it!"

"Ok then! Seyeon, you can go with her." Hoseong granted the permission.

If that jerk was gonna help me then what was the reason behind behaving like an absolute asshole earlier?! I glared at him and he winked at me. THE FUCK? UGH! I rolled my eyes at him and went to my room to prepare for the journey. 

After packing my stuff and wrapping them with a piece of cloth, I went out of the palace where Ahyoon was sobbing in Hoseong's arms.

"Don't cry, Ahyoon! I'll come to visit you often!" He patted her back.

I looked around and saw many palanquins with maids, servants, and gifts. Woooooow! So I'm gonna be a part of an ancient marriage! So cool.

Hoseong guided Ahyoon to her palanquin and Jeongguk climbed up on his horse. Wait! Where am I supposed to go?

"What are you waiting for, lady Seyeon? Mount your horse." Jeongguk said pointing at the horse that was standing beside his horse.

"HORSE? I don't know how to ride a horse!!!!" I frowned.

"But a warrior is supposed to be on a horse that's why I prepared every last palanquin left in the palace to carry the gifts," Hoseong said.

"Seyeon can come inside my palanquin." Ahyoon proposed.

"But there is not enough space for two!." Hoseong sighed.

"Lady Seyeon can come on my horse and on our way back to Goguryeo, I can even teach her how to ride a horse!" Jeongguk proposed.

NO WAY!!!! I would rather stay here than climb on his horse.

"That sounds good! A warrior needs to know how to ride a horse! Go with him, Seyeon!" Hoseong ordered.

"But-"

Before I could protest, Jeongguk pulled me on his horse by my waist and made me sit in front of him. He held the horse's reins with both of his hands, securing me in between his strong arms.

"I-"

"May we leave now, your Majesty?" Jeongguk again cut me off.

"Yes! Have a safe journey and once you reach there, send me a letter." Hoseong said.

"Ok!" Jeongguk smiled and kicked his horse gently and it started to walk.

"Sit straight, lady Seyeon else the horse will lose its balance!" He was so close to me. I could feel his breath on my neck

"Who asked you to do this? I WAS FINE ON MY OWN!!!!!!!"

"No, you were not! Now hold the reins, lady Seyeon!" he said. I rolled my eyes, took the reins from him, and held them tightly.

"A horse is your friend, not your slave. Hold the reins gently because they are for controlling the horse and not for keeping you on the horse. What keeps you on the horse is...." He patted my back. "Make your back straight." I did and he pointed at my thighs, "Hug the horse with your legs." I did. "Good! Now to turn right, move the reins across the horse's neck to the right. To go left, move the reins across the horse's neck to the left. Got it?"

I nodded

"Good! Now let's see what did you learn."

"Wait what?-" Before I could say anything else, he kicked his horse gently a couple of times and it started TO RUN!

"WHAAAAAAAAT THEEEEEE ACTUAL FUCKKKKKKKKKK?????? I'M JUST A BEGINNER!!!!!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CONTROL IT????????" I yelled while panicking.

"You'll be an expert horse rider by the time we reach Goguryeo." He said calmly.

"HoW aM I sUppOSe tO sToP iT?"

"I don't know!"

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN BY YOU DON'T KNOW, YOU JERK????"

"Sometimes I don't understand what language you speak but anyways, did I say that there's a cliff ahead? And if the horse continues at this speed then we'll die!"

"WHAT ON EARTHHHHHHHHHHHH??????!!!!!!!!" I could see the cliff.

"OH MY GOD!!!! WHAT DO I DO??? WHY ARE YOU SO CALM???????? YOU'LL ALSO END UP BEING DEAD AT THIS RATE!!!!!!!!" I got no answer.

We got closer to the cliff.

NOOOO.!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO? GOD SAVE ME!!!

I closed my eyes shut and instinctively pulled the reins backward and the horse neighed and stopped just a couple of feet away from the edge of the cliff.

"Ahhhh! Oh my God!" I opened my eyes and took a deep breath. 

"Good job! Now you know how to control a horse!" Jeongguk clapped.

"YOU-" I turned around to face him, " WE COULD HAVE DIED!!!!"

"But we didn't!" He smirked "And what makes you think that prince Jeon Jeongguk would let his favorite horse, a pretty lady, and himself jump off a cliff and die?" He laughed.

"WELL, YOU DIDN'T HELP ME? DIDN'T TELL ME HOW TO STOP 'YOUR FAVOURITE HORSE' AND WE ARE STANDING AT THE EDGE OF THE CLIFF SO WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO HELP, 'PRINCE JEON JEONGGUK'?

"'Pretty lady', we are not 'on the edge of the cliff' but a couple of feet away from it!"

"Yeah, whatever! And stop calling me that!" I rolled my eyes and turned around again and took the reins of the horse. Ugh! Just after saving myself from a near-death situation, I'm feeling like I'm an expert in horse riding.

I guided the horse to turn around, kicked it gently and it started to walk again.

"So, you're enjoying the ride, isn't it?"

"Yes...can't lie about that."

"See, told you!"

"Thank you for teaching me!"

"Now tell me one thing. Who are you, lady Seyeon?"

"What do you mean?"

"Your hometown isn't Goguryeo. As I have said in our first meeting itself, I've never heard about a lady warrior in Goguryeo and everything about you tells me that you don't belong here. So who are you?" His voice became cold.

I gulped and pulled back the horse's reins and it stopped again. I turned around and looked into his eyes. His eyes which always shined brightly like the stars were dark.

He took the reins from my hands and kicked the horse a few times and it again started to run but I kept staring at him, not knowing what to answer. He wrapped his other hand around my waist, "You'll fall if you keep staring at me like that!" He smirked.

Silla,

It has been a few days since I last saw Yunki at the court of justice. Though minister Kang asked me to take care of Yunki, I was just not able to face him. I felt so lonely and depressed these days that I didn't even go out of my room. I wish Seyeon was here.

Sigh! I think I should meet the king.

I went out of my room and saw the servants and maids running around. I wondered what was wrong but decided to go straight away to Yunki's room.

"Your majesty, physician Jeemin wants to meet you." The maid declared as soon as she saw me.

"Let him in!" He ordered from behind the doors.

I opened the door and was confused to see him in armor.

"Greetings to His Majesty!" I bowed.

"Welcome Jeemin! It has been days since you visited me. I know that you're disappointed because I exiled minister Kang but-"

"Your Majesty, I understand why you did that and by exiling him, you only prevented his death! I-I was just feeling lonely. I felt lost and so I decided to take these few days to clear my mind."

"Jeemin!" He kept a hand on my shoulder, "I know what loneliness is. Whoever I trusted, betrayed me. Do you know why did I kill my brother to get the throne? Because my father's will made me the king yet my love for hyungnim accepted his betrayal and I never opposed him. But he always saw me as a threat, as an enemy, and always tried to kill me. And the people whom I trusted so much, were all with my brother. No one tried to save my life except minister Kang. So to protect me and my motherland, I had to kill him." He sighed.

"But you don't have to feel lonely. This 'tyrant king' is always with you. You were right that day, you're like my little brother and I'm fond of you. For all these days I wanted to see you. I wanted you to be mad at me and question me for exiling minister Kang but you didn't do it." He added with a sigh and I was shocked. Never have I seen him speaking this much and opening up about his feelings.

"As a king, it is my duty to forget about my feelings and my relationships in the court else justice cannot be done. I'm sorry Jeemin that because of me you and minister Kang had to suffer. You both are the only ones who are my family now yet look at me, I had to punish you both." He looked sad.

"Y-Yunki hyungnim, I-I....please don't say all these. You are not a tyrant. You are a great king. I'll always stay by your side and even minister Kang knows why you did all those. Don't feel guilty." I hugged him.

"Y-you called me hyungnim?"

"I-I...I'm sorry, your Majesty!-"

"NO!!!! Please call me hyungnim!"

 "Ok hyungnim!" I smiled.

"Umm...AHEM! Forget what I just told you right now!" He became awkward and started to adjust his armour.

"Ok hyungnim!" I laughed. He shows that he is a tough guy but he is a softie inside.

"But why are you wearing all these? Are you preparing for a war?" I asked.

"Yes, Jeemin! My spies informed me that Baekje and Goguryeo joined hands. It only indicates that they will soon attack us, so it's better that I attack them when they are enjoying their marital bond."

Right! Baekje, Silla, and Goguryeo never had a friendly relationship.

"Let me in!!!! I HAVE NEWS. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!!!! YOUR MAJESTY?????!!!!!!!!" Minister Kang busted in.

"Minister Kang?" Both me and Yunki were surprised.

"I'm sorry for disobeying your orders, my king, but I saw Cheena's huge forces marching towards Silla.

Right! Cheena is a problematic country even in our time!

"WHAT? PREPARE OUR FORCES RIGHT NOW!"

"BUT their forces are huge! I recommend you to seek help from Baekje and Goguryeo as well!" Kang proposed.

"I agree with minister Kang. If the three powerful Kingdoms come together, then Cheena will not stand a chance against us." I said.

"You both want me to join hands with my enemies?! I'm going to die protecting my motherland if needed but I won't lose my dignity and beg my enemies to protect me. GO AND PREPARE FOR THE WAR!" Yunki made himself clear.

Kang hesitated but Yunki's looked like he wasn't going to change his decision. So minister Kang bowed and left.

"FIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" We heard people screaming outside.

"What?" Yunki peeked out from his window and saw fiery arrows hitting the palace ground and burning everything.

"They are already here!!!" Yunki opened his room's doors and was greeted by fire. "UGH!!!!" 

"Yunki hyungnim!!!!" I rushed towards him. He grabbed my hand and we made our way through the flames. Though we didn't have any major injuries, I felt like my skin was melting.

"SOLDIERS????? KANG???-" We heard the clashing noise of swords. We rushed towards the noise and found everyone fighting against the Cheena forces.

"HOW DID THESE PUNKS COME HERE?" Yunki drew his sword and slashed two-three soldiers. I picked up a sword from the ground and started to fight as well. I have escaped death many times while living here and I believe the same will happen now as well, "HAAAAAA!!!!" I slashed an enemy soldier and his blood splattered on my face!
