Ash's POV
"You are nothing! Nothing without me!"

"That's not true and you know it X."

"Then allow me to prove it!"

"X What are you doing?!"

"You are weak! Pathetic! A useless runt!"

"X, I'm sorry. I hope you will forgive me someday."

"What?! What are you doing?! Nooooo!"

I woke up with a sudden jolt. "Ash are you ok?" I heard a voice ask me. I looked up, it was Hoopa and Meray. Pikachu was next to them,looking concerned. Well that explains the jolt, but what do they mean "Am I ok?" Then I realized, My face is covered in sweat and I have a rapid heart beat "Yeah." I said, controlling my breathing "I'm fine." I wiped the sweat of my face and hopped out of bed, they were still worried "I'm fine guys, really."

"Hoopa thinks Ashcan is just saying that." Hoopa retorted and they nodded "Guys really. I'm fine. I just a nightmare it's nothing to worry about." I said in a reassuring tone as I opened the door to the living room. Beraz was in their, making breakfast and watching the news "Morning Beraz." I greeted as I sat down on the couch "Morning." He said in reply as he was cooking breakfast. I took a whiff of it and it smelt delicious.

"Beraz what are you making that smells delicious!" I half shouted with a joyful tone. "You'll have to find out." He told me, keeping me in suspense. I was about to say more when Meray, Hoopa, and Pikachu walked in and sat down on the stools at the kitchen counter. Pikachu joined me on the couch to watch the news, Hoopa following close behind.
"What are we doing today?" Hoopa asked me. "Well Hoopa today the Tournament Of Legends officially begins, so naturally I'll be participating." I explained to Hoopa

"Hey actually I'm wondering something." Then I turned to Meray and Baraz "Are you two competing in the tournament?" The shook their heads, saying the only came to watch the tournament, rather than compete in it. (Besides idk their Pokémon teams. Don't worry though Beraz and Meray will use at least one or two Pokémon in this story.)

"Besides we have Hoopa to take care of." Baraz said, making Hoopa a tad bit frustrated "Hoopa can take care of itself!" It retorted "Like you did last month?" Meray asked cheekily. Hoopa was about to make a comeback, but kept quiet. It just let out a huff of frustration and floated to the kitchen, probably looking for donuts. Pikachu laughed a bit as Beraz finished making breakfast.

"Here you go everyone." He said as he put a big plate of waffles on the table. "That's a lot of waffles." Meray remarked. "Well someone in this room has a huge appetite." Then he looked at me "What's that supposed to mean?" I said in a pouty tone as I sat down and made my plate. Meray and Baraz sat down and made their plates as well "Thank you for the food." I said in a grateful tone "Now let's dig in!"

Iris POV
'Dang it we lost our chance' I thought as we went to our hotel room 'Brock and his big mouth.'

"Well well well look who it is." A voice that I knew all to well. We all looked up to see the traitors, stopping us in our tracks
"What do you people want?" Cilan asked in a cold tone "You have no right to stop us. You bring a very unpleasant flavor to the table."

"Thank you Mr. Connoisseur, but nobody cares what you think!" Serena snapped at us "Why don't you all just back off and let us go to our hotel room." I snapped "You have no right to stop us."

"Who gives a crap about rights?" Max asked "The reason you are even here today is because of your rights you dummy!" Bonnie snapped at them. Max blinked in shock "Max honestly how stupid are you?" Brock asked with an angry tone.

"Now now, let's not jump to conclusions Boulder Boy." A familiar voice said, it was Leaf. "You bitch!" I shouted "This is all your fault!"

"What have I done Dragon Girl?" Leaf asked, well demanded really. "You know what you did!" I said in a menacing tone "One day Ash will find out about it! You'll see?"

"One day Ash will find out about what?" A voice said from the shadows. Soon the figure stepped into the light. It was Ash. "I heard a commotion so I thought I should check it out."

"Leaf started this whole thing Ash!" I explained "She planned the entire betrayal start to finish!" When I was done he was mad- no he wasn't mad he was livid
"How dare you speak about my girlfriend like that! She's the reason I'm alive!" He shouted with a red eye. Then he made it disappear "Wait? Girlfriend?" Trip asked Leaf "Your cheating on me for that loser!"

Leaf walked over to Ash and kissed him on the cheek "I've been with him before I even considered dating you!" She said as she sticked her tongue out at Trip, who was furious. "She's helped me through so many things. Unlike you she has a heart!" Ash shouted at them.

"Ash please hear me out!" I pleaded. "Do you think we drove 20 minutes away from your house for no reason? Do you think it was just dumb luck that leaf found you and took you to a cottage that was conveniently located in that forest?!" When I was done he was actually thinking about it. I knew I had made a good point. "If you say one more of these damn lies I will-." He then grabbed his head and he struggled to make his red glow vanish. Eventually it vanished into thin air. "Iris what are you talking about?" Leaf asked me innocently, making me and the others frustrated "You know exactly what we are talking about!" Clemont shouted and we all nodded in agreement. "Ash please listen to us! She is deceiving you, she has you wrapped around her finger! Please Ash just trust us." This made Ash's eye glow red again, only this time both eyes were glowing red.
"TRUST YOU?! YOU WANT ME TO FREAKING TRUST YOU AFTER ALL THAT HAS HAPPENED! FIRST YOU BETRAY ME, BLOW YOUR CHANCE OF FORGIVENESS, AND NOW YOUR ACCUSING MY GIRLFRIEND OF PLANNING THE ENTIRE BETRAYAL?! THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST RIDICULOUS THINGS I HAVE EVER HEARD!" Then he collapsed on the ground, his hands being the only thing keeping him up. Then the red vanished again. "This conversation is over, we're leaving." Ash and Leaf walked away, and the traitors went the other way, leaving me and the others alone.

Ash's POV
"Let me out you runt!" X demanded 'Never!'
"We both know that you want revenge on those simpletons! They hurt you, betrayed you, and you even gave them a second chance but they blew it. On top of that they just accused Leaf! Your girlfriend. Use my power, if we work together we can get our revenge."

'I will never let you out! You will forever stay sealed!'

"Ash?" Leaf asked me, snapping me out of my conversation with X. "I'm sorry that you had to hear that." I said in a apologetic tone "The very thought of you having anything to do with them is despicable. Unthinkable." Leaf caressed my cheek and kissed me. "Don't listen to them, they are just trying to manipulate you Ash." Leaf advised and I nodded, but in couldn't stop thinking about what Iris said
'Do you think it was just dumb luck that leaf found you and took you to a cottage that was conveniently located in that forest?!' I hadn't really thought much about it before but now that I am, it is suspicious. They didn't have to drive all that way, they could've just left me in the forest behind Delia's backyard; it was strange how a cottage was conveniently located in the exact same forest where Leaf found me, nursed me back to health, and became my girlfriend. She said she had to go somewhere. Was she double crossing me? I had a lot to think about, but where do I start.
"Ash are you alright?" Leaf asked me, being me back to Earth again "Sorry Leaf I was just lost in thought" I replied, assuring her. Then I realized I was sitting in the stands of the league. I must've really been lost in thought if I hadn't noticed that I walked all the way to the league, went to the stands, and sat down.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" Charles said as he walked up to the center of the field, mic in hand. (Ok I'm pretty sure we all know what he is going to say here so imma just skip it. If you don't know then ask me in the comments and I'll tell you) "Here are the latest matchups!" Then Charles gestured to the big screen.
Let's see im.....up first. "Gotta go." I told Leaf as I pecked her on the cheek. "Wish me luck."

Third person POV

"Now for our first battle!" The referee said as the crowd went wild. "Coming our on the right side is Trainer Clemont from the Kalos region!" The crowd cheered as he walked out "And on the left side we have a very mysterious trainer! People in Sinnoh refer to him as "The Champion Of The Mountain" Because he makes his home at Mt.Coronet in the Sinnoh region." The ref explained as Ash walked out "He has faced countless trainers on the mountain. His identity was discovered only recently, so may I present to you, Ash Ketchum of the Kanto Region!" The crowd was silent, then it erupted in cheer "Correction Sir I'm from Sinnoh now!" Ash yelled and The ref nodded in understanding and apologized.

"Trainers please send out your Pokémon!"

"Ash please listen to me! Luxray let's go!" Clemont shouted as the gleam eyes Pokémon appeared on the field.

"I refuse to listen to anything you have to say! Noivern I choose you!" Ash shouted as the Sound wave Pokémon appeared and hovered in place on the field.

"This will be a 3 on 3 battle! When either side is out of Pokémon, the battle will be over! Ready?Battle begin!"

"Luxray let's start this off with swift!" Clemont shouted as Luxray jumped into the air and released whitish, tan starts from its tail. Ash just stood there, calmly then said "Noibat let's finish this with one move! Boomburst!" Ash countered as noivern ascended into the air and released sound waves from its big ears, causing Luxray to get hit mid air and slam into the wall. It fell on the ground with swirls in its eyes.

"Luxray is unable to battle, the round goes to Trainer Ash!" The ref announced then turned to the audience "This is unbelievable! Lumiose gym leader Clemont's Pokémon taken down by one move and it was BoomBurst no less! Will Clemont's next Pokémon turn the tide or will Ash win the round again! Let's see what his next Pokémon is shall we?"

"Heliolisk Let's go!" Clemont shouted as it appeared on the field, showing its orange frilled collar to look intimidating. "Heliolisk use thunder!"

"Boomburst agian Noivern!" Ash countered as Noivern once again flew up into the air and shot concussive sound waves towards heliolisk. Heliolisk got hit before it could release the thunder, but it survived. Barely. "Heliolisk heal yourself up with Parabolic charge!" Clemont shouted. Heliolisk opened up its Orange Frilled Collar and fired a yellow Electric ball above it and lighting shot out of the ball. "Noivern dodge and finish with Acrobatics!" Ash shouted as Noivern was dodging the bolts of thunder. Noiverns body glowed blue and it zoomed at lightning speed and rammed headfirst into Heliolisk, sending it into the wall with swirls in its eyes.

"Heliolisk is unable to battle, the round goes to Trainer Ash!" The Ref announced as the crowd cheered "Two of Gym Leader Clemont's Pokémon have already been defeated and Trainer Ash hasn't even lost a single Pokémon yet! Things are looking grim for the lumiose gym leader! Can he make a comeback?!"

'Don't worry he won't.' Ash thought 'I'll make sure of it.' Then he looked at the stands and noticed Leaf wasn't there 'That's strange. Where could she be?'

Traitors POV

"We need him gone! Now!" Trip demanded. They were at a cafe with a hooded stranger. "It is to early, we need to build up his confidence more so we can truly break his spirit." The hooded stranger recorded "No we need to break it now. He may be a loser but he has strong Pokémon." Paul said "Strong Pokemon like Noivern shouldn't be with a weakling like Ash. We need him gone. Now."

The hooded stranger stood up "I will not be threatened in my own operation!" He half shouted, causing Paul and Trip to panic "We will wait for his confidence to build, then we will break him!" The hooded stranger said as he walked away, leaving Paul and Trip a bit annoyed at their leader.

Iris POV
"Clemont got crushed." I whispered to myself as he recalled his final Pokémon. He went to try and shake Ash's hand, but he walked away before he could even do anything. I sighed 'He will never forgive us.' I thought as I started walking out to the stadium. "Hey Iris wait up!" I heard Clemont shout as he ran up to me "Hey Clemont." I said in a sad tone "I'm sorry to hear that you lost."

"Oh no your fine in fact this actually helps me." I said in a dismissive tone "With me out of the tournament I can work on my inventions." I chuckled a bit, remembering all the inventions he made and blew up in our faces. "As long as they don't blow up." I said in a mocking tone as he let out a huff. "Is it true?" That voice sent chills up my spine. Clemont and I whirled our heads around. It was Ash. He had a cloak on and was looking at us intently "Is it true?" He asked again. "What's true?" I asked, obvious to what he meant. "Leaf being the mastermind behind the betrayal. Is it true?" Ash asked one last time. I finally knew what he meant.
"What you said earlier is right, it couldn't have been a coincidence. So I want to know if it's true." He explained and Clemont and I nodded in understanding "It is Ash, please tru- please hear us out." I corrected myself, I knew I had to choose my words carefully, I didn't want to lose this chance. Even though it's not really a chance, but I'll take what I can get. "Clemont has a mini lab in at our place we can use. It has a computer, cameras, and everything. Including the evidence!" I explained in a happy tone "What's the address?" Ash asked "I'll teleport us there."

"Teleport?" I asked "With my aura, yes. I'll explain it later." I was still confused but I gave him our address and he snapped his fingers. Then we got engulfed in blue for a few seconds and when we could see again we were in our living room "What just......" Clemont trailed off "As I said I will explain later, now please show me where your mini lab is." Ash requested "Even though I kinda doubt their is one because we are in a apartment." Clemont puffed his chest out in prides and smacked a red button. Moments later the wall opened and revealed a short staircase "Are you sure about that?" Clemont asked in a mocking tone

"Not anymore." Ash replied as we walked down the short staircase. The lab was pretty small. Just a couple of desks here and there, maps of cities and towns on the walls and a big computer in the center. It was your typical nerdy hideout. Clemont sat in the chair and logged in. "I have many files on the computer, I also have cameras all around the town just Incase something happens." He explained, pride in his voice "As you can see I am well equipped!" Then he pushed up his glasses and starting searching through the files "Let's see....Aha! Here we go!" He clicked on a audio file and played it

"That Ash is so naive." Ash moved back a bit in shock at hearing leafs voice "Honestly how stupid can he be? Trusting me the second I found him, sharing all of his secrets with me, my plan is going perfectly.", "But we must be cautious." Ash knew that voice all to well. Paul. "He may be naive and stupid, but he has strong Pokémon. Pokémon that we will steal." The audio clip ended "I'm not believing it!" Ash snapped "Is their a video?"

"Uh yeah." Clemont answered "Give me one second." Clemont search through the files, nothing popped up "That's strange it should be right here. I'll check the recently deleted." Then he checked his recently deleted files, not their either. "That's impossible!" Clemont shouted in disbelief "It should be here! Nobody knows about this place, even if those traitors figured out about my mini lab, my computer is extremely secure, only elite hackers would even stand a chance!" He swiftly checked the files over and over again, panicking. "I was right." Ash said, causing us to look back "This is all just a lie. That audio file is a fake!" He was starting to walk away when Clemont shouted "Wait I found it!" This got his attention and he came back toward the moniter "Well sort of. Someone managed to hack my computer and is erasing this video as we speak, but I managed to recover half of it."

"Please let me sit down." Ash insisted and Clemont nodded as he pressed the play button. Ash sat down and watched with curious eyes.

"What now Leaf?" Paul asked her "Ash is now in your cottage, he is healing and he trusts you now."
"We should attack him." Trip blurted out "Trip you are such a dumbass!" Serena shouted "He is still weak, we must build up his spirt and his trust with leaf. Then when the time is right we will break him."
"Serena is right Trip." Leaf said "We must build up his spirt and break him. Soon the magic bullet will be done and X will go berserk. X will attack Ash and Ash will die at his pathetic mentors hand! Arceus bequeathed X to Ash, we will make sure he regrets it. Then, when he is dead, we will enslave his Pokémon and move on to phase two of-"

The Video ended and Ash was mad. Like really mad. Then tears started to flow down his checks "Why." He said "Why me....first the betrayal, now this." He put a hand over his eye as it started to glow red again. "Ash I'm so sorry." Clemont said as he put a hand on his shoulder "We both are." I added on as I put one of my hands on his other shoulder. Ash stopped crying and a red flame started to form around his body, Clemont and I backed away in shock and Ash quickly made it go away "Ash?" I asked him "What is that?"

"Aura." Ash answered "Aura is something in all of us. It is like our soul. If we have enough aura we can manipulate it to do incredible things." He briefly explained. Then he proceeded to give us a brief explanation of Aura Guardians, Aura users, Aura powers, and that only certain people can manipulate their aura. When he finished I was in awe "So if you were the descendant of an Aura Guardian you can use aura?" I asked and he nodded "Yes, but that's not always the case." Ash answered "If someone is a descendent of an Aura guardian they may have a powerful aura, but that doesn't mean they can manipulate their Aura. It doesn't matter if your a descendant or just a random person, their is only a slight chance you can even have a powerful aura, let alone wield it."

"I need to get going." Ash said, but I acted first and blocked him. "Wait one second." I insisted and he nodded "Do you believe us?"

Ash POV

"Do you believe us?" She asked me and I considered her question. I know it was Leaf on that video and I know her voice anywhere, but for all I know that video could be fake same as the audio file. "Honestly I don't know what to think. Part of me believes you and part me doesn't." I answered as best I could, then she got closer and closer until our noses were almost touching. "Iris what are you doing?" I asked her, slightly blushing but it wasn't noticeable. She then gently put both her hands on my face, then she smashed her lips into mine, catching me off guard. Before I could to do anything she broke off and put her hands behind her back. "I'll take it." She said, blushing. I was stunned for a second then I snapped my fingers and disappeared into thin air. Moments later I was in my bedroom, everyone was sleeping. "Well buddy it seems we stayed up late." I whispered to Pikachu and he nodded as he got off my shoulder and onto the bed. I changed into my PJ's and got in bed. I had a lot on my mind, but dismissed it all.

Tommorow was a new day.
