Alex

It was safe to say the rest of the week went by faster than Charlie Sheen could say winning after 3 lines of coke.

Christian did his best to hold the fort down. We spoke briefly about the nondisclosure agreement his mother apparently had us all sign, and by us, that would be: Me, Derek, and Joan. Christian said Anna was going to nullify the agreement, and I'd have nothing to worry about. That felt like weight lifted off my shoulders considering I didn't even have the money listed in the disclosure, if Ivanov Corp decided to sue me.

I mean, my most prized possession would have to be my rock collection I started in the third grade.

Something told me that wouldn't prove to be of much value to the Ivanov's.

Anna didn't stop by again for the rest of this week, and neither did John. I guess that made for a more peaceful workflow on my end. I did my best to keep up with Christian as he flew me through what the rest of the year was set to look like. With the Mavericks deal, our estimated total revenue was destined for a great increase. This meant money for funding on expansive projects, and smaller setbacks. It also meant the Ivanov's would be getting even richer than they already were.

Crunch time for the Mavericks launch was getting real. By the time Friday rolled around, it was pretty clear I was going to have to come in over the weekend to complete the work. Christian was in and out of meetings for most of the day, so unfortunately I wasn't able to see him much. He finally settled back at his desk around four in the afternoon.

"How were the calls?" He asked me, entering my office looking as crisp as he did this morning. Instead of his usual suit jacket, he opted in for a vest today, and I literally had to stop myself from drooling. He did that thing where he would curl his bottom lip in to nibble on it nervously. My eyes zeroed in on those lips.

When was the last time I kissed those lips? Felt like an eternity.

If we hadn't been in a work setting, I probably would of demanded he get naked right here right now.

"The calls were good." I replied, doing my best to repress my horniness. Christian had a smirk playing on his lips when he noticed I was shamelessly checking him out. "I was able to work out most of the minor issues with Marketing."

"That's good. Hows the workload looking?" He questioned, as he took a seat in one of my visitor chairs across from me.

"Lengthy but manageable. I think I'll come in for a few hours tomorrow to get the rest of the work done." I explained.

"That's good." He gave me another nod. "John reached out this morning. He's on another business trip right now so we didn't have much time to work out the details, but he wanted us to come out and meet some other promising partners next week."

I instantly lit up. "Does this mean another trip to New York?" I asked. Christian shook his head.

"No, this is actually a trip to Hawaii. He set the dates for next Wednesday through Friday."

Hawaii?

"That sounds exotic." I whispered to myself.

Christian chuckled. "If you think Hawaii is exotic, I'm really going to need to take you places." I rolled my eyes at him.

"That sounds great actually, I'd love to go. Should I start looking at places?" I asked. Christian cut in immediately.

"Absolutely the fuck not. The way you planned our New York trip was an entire mess." He replied.

"Okay I feel personally attacked. It all worked out in the end though, remember?" I gave him a wink, recalling the events of that trip.

"Yeah, I'm starting to think that whole trip was one elaborate plan to seduce me."

"Oh yes, getting embarrassingly shitfaced moments before I was supposed to show up for that third meeting was actually entirely planned. Puke and all."

"Is that all I am to you? A peace of meat?" He quipped. I couldn't help but laugh.

"You cannot hate the player, Christian. One must focus that energy entirely on the game."

Christian chuckled again as he started to help me get my documents together.

"Oh, I was thinking I might stay a little longer." I explained to him.

"No way. Go home. Especially if you're planning on coming in tomorrow. Whatever you haven't finished, can wait." He replied.

"But I-"

"Nope. No buts. You look like this week has eaten you up, and spit you back out like Jonah and the Whale. Go shower, rest up, and come back refreshed for tomorrow."

It was hard to argue with that sound logic.

So I let Christian help me pack up, and walk us down to the underground parking.

It felt like we had fallen into this rhythm: he would help me file my work, and walk me out whenever we left together. Unfortunately, it still forced us to remain professional due to the other coworkers roaming around the building. I wanted to tell Christian to come home with me tonight, but I knew he had far too much to take care of on his end.

So I gave him a friendly hug, or at least one that resembled a friendly hug in case any coworkers were still lingering around. What he really did, was slide his hand down to cup my ass and give it a hard squeeze. He was treading on dangerous territory. I wanted more. A lot more...

...But that was all I managed to get out of him before we said our goodbyes, and went our separate ways home.

Christian

Every fiber of being inside me wanted to go home with Alex... but I did what I needed to by cockblocking myself, as I pulled into the entrance of my home. There was a car parked in front that threw me by surprise. I noticed it was one of our company cars... but I hadn't expected any visitors tonight.

Maybe Nathaniel had drove it back?

That didn't make much sense to me, considering I let Nathaniel use my other cars whenever he needed to run errands... or he'd make me do it for him. Nathaniel wasn't very fond of driving to begin with.

As I locked up the vehicle, and headed up the steps to the entrance, I noticed the door was slightly ajar.
That was when I went into full on attack mode. I could hear arguing coming from somewhere inside. Once I slowly opened the door and stepped in, that was when the arguing died down and I was greeted with two sets of eyes. Both of which I recognized.

One was Nathaniel, who looked beyond the point of irritation with who our second guest was.... And there was really only one person who had the ability to push his buttons like this...

"Hi Chris." She smiled over at me.

"Bridge?"
