I stood there for a few minutes stunned.

'Josephine!!!' I heard a cry. A familiar cry. I suddenly recognized it and yelled back 'Emily!!!!'.

I saw Emily rush towards me from the right side of the forest and hugging me tight.

'We have to go!!!' she said.

'Go where?' I asked.

'Josephine it is Annual eclipse of the Everial Moon motion period. Which mean the Cave of Moon Eclipse has been opened today. We have to go back' she said.

'Oh that was today???!!! But what about the kingdom? The others are fighting the orcs here' I said worried.

'The Kingdom has been attacked by orc but Aran Faerunduil and the army has successfully fended off all the orcs' Emily said.

'But we can't just leave without saying goodbye' I said.

'Who said you won't be able to say farewell' said an exhausted voice.

We turned around and saw Luthiann, Airen and Daemeon come out of the forest.

'We have won the war. Kingdom Duldruz is no more' said Luthiann.

'We will miss you' I said.

But Luthiann threw all of her elegance and came running to us and engulfed us in a big hug.

Emily and Luthiann cried and sobbed. I patted on both of their backs.

After she released us I went to Airen and said 'You fought really well. I was actually impressed'. He smiled at me. 'You could stay here...' he offered.

'I can't. My home and family awaits...' I said holding his hands in mine and giving it a squeeze. He kept his forehead on mine and said 'Farewell my love'. 'Farewell' I said.

I walked to Daemeon and he said 'I could arrange the whole seven realms for you. Please don't leave' he said with his eyes brimming with tears.

'I- I don't want to either but...home is where I belong. With my people. If I come across any chance to enter here in this realm, I will seize that opportunity' I said biting back my tears.

He hugged me and I sobbed on his shoulders.

'Then my love. Home is where you should be' he said and let to go of me.

I walked from him and saw Airen give Emily a hug.

I smiled at the trio and said 'Farewell' for the last time. Emily waved at them. And to our greatest surprise they bowed to us.

Emily and I gave an awkward curtsy. Well one thing we haven't learned properly is a curtsy. Better not let Lady Aquailean know.

I held Emily's hand and after giving all of them a last smile, we ran to the old place. Where it all started.

We climbed uphill. I remembered when Emily was once so excited to reach down. Now it was weighing my heart as I climbed above.

After a few minutes we reached above and saw the whole place one last time. Emily said she couldn't bear it if she stared at the place for another minute so she turned around and bawled.

I looked at the kingdom that shone majestically above everything else.

And to my greatest surprise I saw someone at the top most pinnacle of the palace.

He waved a hand at me. It was Aran Faerunduil. I was overjoyed seeing him. So I gave a big wave and a bow to him.

I heard a smooth silky voice say in my head 'Farewell Averinia'. I smiled knowing of the mind talking ability of elven king.

I turned to Emily and together we back to the cave.

Emily complained that we had to walk back the dark stinky cave all over again. It was a struggling thought but I tried to cheer her up while wipin the tears I had held for a long time.

As we entered the cave there was a long rumble and the cave slammed closed.

And there was a huge current of air and we thought something was going to kill us again.

But something happened and we fell unconscious.

After it seemed hours, I felt someone call my name and I opened my eyes to see Emily smiling down at me. I was lying on the ground so I pulled myself up and saw that we were back at the lake in the middle of the forest. There was no cave. Just the lake, us and the busy forest.

'We're back' Emily said. And we were wearing our old clothes.

'We are' I said as I held the amethyst necklace against me.

'So what do you think is going to happen next?' she asked me.

'Well I don't know. But we'll be with each other no matter what happens so I'm not worried' I said to her while beaming.

She hugged me.

I picked up the camera that laid next to me and said 'Well then how about we take the pictures of the dying dragonflies hmm?'
