When her family is killed and she is forced off a roof right into the arms of Joel, the two begin to kindle a friendship and maybe something more. With secrets and lies keeping the two at arms length, will Joel and Bonnie come to terms with each other's past? Can they stop being ignorant and leave the isolation and ignorance of the 'cave'?
