Marinette's POV

My coronation is later this evening. This evening! I'm so excited to finally claim the crown that I'ved been raised for.

But there is one thing I need to do first.

My foot taps slightly as I knock anxiously on my boyfriends hotel room door. The hollow thumping sending chills up my already anxious spine, this was it.

The minute he opens up I'm gonna tell him everything, my past and my future. Hopefully our future. It's choice though, the crown is heavy to bare.

Kidding, this is the 21st century, politicians run China. All I have to do is sit on a thrown and wave.

"Hi Mari! Do you need something, beautiful?" Adrien opens the door with a smile and leans against it. Wearing his usual white shirt and jeans.

Speaking of clothing, I'm rocking a white shirt and these adorable baby pink dungarees I got here in China.

(A/N Are they called dungarees worldwide? If not sorry.)

"I need to tell you something. Its important..." The blush he gave me fades and I gulp nervously. Knowing my luck he probably hates princesses because of a traumatic Disney World experience.

"What is it? Are you okay?" Adrien asks somewhat worriedly. What a sweetheart! Am I being weird? Oh well, he's hot.

#Blessed am I right? No, okay bye...

"I'm fine but you know the coronation later? Yeah I'm the princess, surprise! Love you bye!" I try to run away after my awkward spew of words but Adrien's words slow me down.

"That's so cool! So your royalty? Wow." Adrien seems really chill with it, damn. I was expecting some emotional shock but hey this is fanfic after all, no need for feelings other than love and joy.

"Thanks for being so nice about it, see you later?"

"You know it princess, have fun wearing a tiara." Adrien pecks my lips slightly before disappearing into his hotel room like some kind of wizard. Or I'm just imagining it, lost in the awe of his golden locks and-

"Ugh I hate how casually he kisses another guys girl." JAMES GODDAMMIT DON'T RUIN MY HAPPINESS.

"James please fuck of you wannabe human being. Move on, okay? I can book you some help if you want?" Must remain calm. Must remain calm. Stay cALM!

"Help? Oh that be great. My parents have told me my whole life that I'd marry you one day and when you and I broke up I was so unprepared, my entire life was wasted. My parents are being dicks about it too, thanks so much Marienette!" James smiles at me before skipping away like some kind of phsyco.

"What...?" Is all I say before shaking my head and walking towards my awaiting friends. Alya and Chloe are really excited for the coronation if you didn't know that by now.

Who made fashion so complicated?

It's great and all but it's been four hours and only now are me, Chloe, Alya and, surprisingly enough, Sabrina are finally ready to go.

I'm rocking an oriental inspired dress that goes down to my ankles, excluding the slits of course. Its baby pink with ladybug details.

Alya went a little more casual but it works with her aesthetic, and orange unsurprising looks good on her. Chloe went for a more traditional pale yellow dress and Sabrina is living her life in a pretty turquoise get up.

"Thanks for helping look good girls but I've really got to go now, bye!" I hug all the girls before heading away to the palace for the coronation.
