It's been two days after that incident occured, for some reason a similar event keeps getting onto my mind.

A girl's voice interrupts my thoughts, snapping me back to reality.

"Yes?" I called out.

The student gently placed the book on my table, near the stamp pad I owned.

"I would like to borrow this book, please. " Ariadne Rane said.

"Okay. " I simply replied and opened the back of the book. It revealed the slip I was supposed to take, where the return date was written.

"Please sign here. " I said, placing a red pen in front of her. The girl obeyed and signed her name with the pen I gave.

"So, when can I return it?" She asked.

"Next week. " I answered.

"Okay, thank you!" She then held the book and left.

I finally sighed as she closed the Library door behind her, leaving me alone inside.

Few people have been going in here, but that's the first day so I shouldn't expect big.

I heard students chattering. Free time for them, a few staff members were probably strolling too.

I guess I should too? Besides, I don't think anyone else would be visiting the library.

Teenagers these days don't even care about it anymore.

I left my chair and grabbed my bag along with the keys.

I left the library and locked the door.

I went to the other wing of the second floor, then a few murmurs made me jump for a bit.

They belonged to some students, but they're not supposed to be here in this area!

"Are you sure no teachers would notice?"

"Trust me! The colours won't catch their eyes!"

I stayed where I was and peeked to see a group of boys squeezing food dressings into the flasks, these flasks belonged to the closet where chemicals for Science Class were held.

After that, they placed them back where they belong.

I know I have to do something.

"What are you boys doing?" I raised my voice for a bit.

"It's the librarian!" Theywhispered loudly among themselves before turning around.

"W-We're arranging th-the left-out chemicals we used awhile ago. " I held my laughter while listening to their "explanation".

"I guess I'll be telling the professor later. "I thought to myself before saying, "Well, you better get downstairs before others accuse you of trespassing. "

I heard the boys snicker in triumph after running away.

This school was known for being the best, now for a death and sooner or later student misconduct, what is happening?

I decided to go back to where we would have dinner, surely nothing bad would happen again.

I spotted Sarah Jordan, the Science Professor walking near the tables.

"Professor Jordan," I called out.

"Yes?"I started to think of what to say as she came closer.

"I found a group of boys tampering with the chemicals in the closet. "I informed her.

Sure enough, her eyes widened for a bit.

"Really?"

"Yes. "

"I'll inspect it later. "

After that, we parted ways and I sat down on my chair.

Dinner was good, leaving me satisfied.

That night, I heard that yet another murder occured.
