As the lights flicker back on, I find myself staring into the eyes of the monstrous creature that was claiming the lives of Carter Hollow's student body.

The single word is still reverberating through the stage area.

"Hamilton?!" She slowly sighs and looks at me, wordlessly. I slowly turn my head, and force the bile from my stomach down as I glimpse the slaughter for the first time. Blood is everywhere, splattered here and there, with bodies intermittently scattered.

I gather up the strength to manage one more word.

"Why?" No response. Hamilton is shutting herself off from me.

And soon enough, a crowd has formed. Their sombre faces tell me that this massacre is the darkest day Carter Hollow has ever seen. But the people I am relieved to see right now are police officers. To my relief, they tell me to get off Hamilton, and they cuff her.

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be provided to you by the state. Do you understand these rights as i have read them to you?" Hamilton nods, covered in blood. A single tear spills forth from her eye.

I sigh with relief. 'Well... I think there's another murderer, but I'm glad one's gone...'
