Hello Peeta. What's all this rush?"

He straightens his hair and says out of breath;

"You've got visitors. And they are extremely keen on seeing you." He catches his breath as I stand up heading to the door.

"Let's go then." I say hooking our arms and heading out of the door.

Oh yes now back with the new part...

He gives me a faint smile and we walk through the corridors arm in arm with complete silence.

"I see you must be used to linking arms." I exclaim with a hint of jealousy and surprise.

"Yes in most of President Snow's balls I have linked my arms to get photographs with some people for various reasons." He continues his morale slightly different, anger flashing through this beautiful blue orbs," You'll be invited to join one at the end of your stay. More like forced to but again who isn't?"

I feel like he's hiding something from me. Something very important that I'm sure that I'm not supposed to be told. But curiosity gets the best of me and I ask him,

"Peeta you weren't a Victor weren't you? Why are you Snow's assistant? Why wasn't I allowed into that hall where you seemed extremely tired? And-"

"Katniss for the best I do believe that I answer none of the questions at the moment. Time will tell and there will be a time when I can tell you but you must be patient." He looks like he's fed up of me already and it breaks my heart.

I know I'm not supposed to have feelings about him. Something just draws me to him. I feel like a moth drawn to a flame.

"Sooo when can I give you body language lessons? Do you know a certain place where we won't be disturbed?" I try to change the topic while he leads me down the stairs.

"Well how about tomorrow morning at eight? And I think my room would be nice, I feel more comfortable there of course if it bothers you we can always go to ano-" He rambles on but I butt in laughing,

"Oh Peeta it'll be fine. As long as you feel comfortable that's good enough for me." I laugh and laugh later on because his face shows pure worry about the topic.

"If you say so Katniss. Oh and your visitors we're quite eager on seeing you." He speaks in an amused tone.

"Who are there visitors may I ask?" Confusion and curiosity wash over me as I speak.

"You'll see. And I hope you'll be pleased." He smiles and opens a door at the bottom of the stairs, guiding me in.

First I see nothing but a speck of yellow hurtling towards me like a cannonball. The force is strong and I fall to the ground with the yellow beast.

"Katniss! I've missed you sooooooooo much! I was so pissed when I heard that you weren't coming home immediately so I bought three train tickets to the Capitol, just to see you! I had to sell some herbs and Lady's cheese but-" Prim rambles on and on sitting on me, moving her hands around and around in excitement. I can't help but butt in,

"Prim all that matters is that you're here and you're fine and I'm alright. But if you got off me I could see how much you've grown!" I chuckle as she slips off my body and see her pout on the granite floor.

Peeta stands in a corner, amusement written on his face as he watches me and Prim.

"My Prim you've grown a lot taller!" I exclaim in shock. The little girl that I once had to feed and protect is now a young lady.

She blushes and comments me back,
"You still look beautiful as always and you've held your promise of coming back alive." After my little sister hugs me she whispers into my ear,
"Who's that devilishly handsome young man standing in the corner?" Smirking she pulls back.

I have absolutely no idea how she learnt all these words. School maybe? I blush and say,

"Little Duck he's a friend. Would you like to meet him?"

"You sure he'a just a friend? You know I can always keep a secret from Gale no problem." She looks up at my face raising her eyebrows and putting a sly smile on.

"Just come on you." I take her hand and walk her up to Peeta.

"Peeta this is Prim. My little sister back in my District." His eyes seem to shine as he bends down at Prim's level and speaks,

"Hello I'm Peeta. Nice to have met you." He extends a hand at her, and I'm shocked. He's not the shaking type.

Prim grips his hand and shakes it up and down like a swing. "Prim's the name. You must be my future brother in law."

Peeta looks stunned as I am as I exclaim in shock,
"Prim where did that come from?"

Peeta laughs and winks at me." Maybe after a couple of years."

"Really?" Her eyes grow as large as the dinner plates at the Capitol.

"Maybe." He replies smirking at me. I roll my eyes and ask Prim,

"You said that you bought three seats. Where are the other two people?"

"Oh Gale got in a fight with one of the Peacekeepers and they took him to this strange building called "Medical Ward" and mother saw one of her old friends and went to her house to stay there. She said she'll come to see you but I'm not sure. Gale will be back on Tuesday. He told me to tell you not to worry and that he would be alright." Prim explains everything with her own jests and mimics.

( i know i said there would be no gale but i lie😉)

"So that's just three days away." Peeta says in deep thought.

"Exactly. Oh and Pita Bread I like you. You'd be a good husband to Katniss. Consider it." She takes my hand and takes Peeta's and entwines them.

I blush like mad and look up to see Peeta's reaction. He looks at me smirking and brushes a strand of hair that covers my eyes and places it behind my ears.

"Excuse me but I'm here too you know." A female voice speaks up.

I turn around to see Madge, my best friend throughout High School and Elementary. Well Gale was my friend too but he was so popular at school and was surrounded by girls so I hung out with Madge most of the time.

"Madge! I'm so glad to see that you're here! How did you come? Didn't you have your mother to look after?" All there people are surprising me.

"My father had a business trip and I wanted to come with him and heard that you were in the mansion so here I am!" She eyes Peeta and suddenly looks like a lightbulb has turned on in her head.

"Oh my goodness! Katniss you've got some hot stuff here." She looks at Peeta and smiles. "Hi I'm Madge! You must be Katniss's boyfriend. Don't worry I won't tell Gale." She walks up to me and engulfs me into a bone- crushing hug.

"Name's Peeta and I'm not Katniss's girlfriend. Sorry." He extends a hand to her as well and Madge smiles and adds,
"Not yet but soon." She hooks her arm through mine after letting Prim sit on her shoulders and giving her a piggyback ride.

"So Peeta where are you going to lead us to?" Madge asks holding Prim tight on her shoulders.

"To the Dining Room if you ladies would like to satisfy your hunger of course." He opens the door and lets us pass, winking at me as he does so.

"OH YES PLEASE. I'D LOVE TO HAVE A MIDNIGHT BANQUET."Shouts Prim and I scold her,

"Prim where are your manners? Didn't I teach you not to scream or shout in the hallways and in public?" I frown at her and tut in disapproval.

"You look a lot like mom when you do that you know? Oh and I am awfully hungry." She's braiding Madge's hair now.

"The rest of you?" Asks Peeta.

"I wouldn't mind." Me and Madge say in union and giggle afterwards.

A small simple smile graces Peeta's face as he says," Follow me to the Dining Room m'ladies."

We ascend down corridors and are forced to listen to Prim's comments about every single President. We laugh at most of her comments because she rambles about nonsense.

"Here we are. Ladies first." Two Peacekeepers swing the door open and I see a big table full of food choices and hear Prim gasp.

"Well I didn't know that you'd be here." Says a voice from behind us. "Especially you Peeta. I have some unfinished business with you."

My blood turns cold as I turn around to see the person who would possibly be an answer to my questions and see...
