Theo's P.O.V

It was the day after Christmas and Philip had told me he was gonna pick me up that night. I'm pretty sure he was trying to sneak in some more time with his family which I of course would do to. I walk downstairs and see my dad in the kitchen.

"Hey dad, what do you think of the Philip boy?" I asked, kinda catching him by surprise. "He's a Hamilton. That's all I can say. Why do you ask Theo?" He responded. "No reason. Although he is a friend now." I stated.

"Is 'Friend' cover up for something else?" He asked. "No. After all dad, I've only known him for a few days." I respond. Then my phone rang. "Hold on i'm gonna go take this." 

Philip's P.O.V

"Hello?" Theo said on the other line. "Hey, i'm just calling to let you know that i'm gonna head out in a few minutes. AJ wants to talk to me and then i'll head out." I say. "Okay, i'll grab my things and wait." She responds to me.

"Okay. Buh-bye." I say and hang up. "Great, can we talk now Philip?" AJ asks. "Yeah, whats up?" I respond. Angie sits down next to me. "Let me hear this conversation. I'll try to keep quiet." She said and you could practically hear her smirk.

"Alright. So Philip, i'm having girl problems." AJ says. "Who is this girl?" I ask. "Her names Eliza Knox." He responds. "Aw, if this works out then it'll be Alex and Eliza, just like mom and dad." Angie said.

AJ shot her a death glare and she rolled her eyes. 

"Okay, how do I get girls to notice me?" AJ asks.

"Well...cover yourself in glitter and that'll get them to notice you." I respond.

"The hell?! No!" AJ exclaims.

"Then grow a pair and talk to them!" I say. "I second that! Come on, you won't get anywhere in life until you man up and talk to these girls." Angie yelled. "Angie! You said you would stay out of this!" AJ yelled. 

"It was your mistake to let me sit here. Did you seriously think I would uphold that promise?" Angie said. AJ rolled his eyes. "Whatever, i'm going up to my room." AJ said.

Frances and Georges were already in the car. I was saying goodbye to my wonderful 6 siblings and mom and dad. "Remember to drive safe!" Mom said for the hundredth time. "Alright, i'll tell Georges." I said as I walked out the door.

Theo crawled into the seat after she put her bag in the back. About an hour later we arrived back at the apartments. Frances and Georges walked to our apartment. Susan had gotten an Uber here but was planning to meet up with us later.

"Hey, i'm gonna walk Theo to her apartment. I'll be back in a few." I said. Theo had no objections and while I was walking her there she didn't really talk like at all. I decided to try and break the awkward silence.

"So Theo, what did you get your dad?" I asked. "Well, a few years back my dad sold the last picture of my mom and me together to a pawn shop. I had bought it back a couple months ago and planned to give it to him but I just wasn't sure when I could. As you can guess, that was my gift to him." She responds.

"That's very kind of you. How did he react?" I asked. "Well...he began crying...actually." She responded. "Honestly, the last time I saw my dad cry was at my mom's funeral." 

"Oh wow...I don't think I've ever seen my dad cry." I said. "Well, thanks Philip. See you later?" She said. "See ya later." 

I came back into the apartment and Susan was already there.

(A/N : sorry this was so short i'm lazy. Also, I just found out my story (as of June 21st 2020) is #2 in Philidosia. I think that's the highest ranking one of my stories has ever been. So thanks to all the people who have been reading this even though its really bad)
