Philip's P.O.V

Theo had invited me over to her apartment. She said she wanted to talk to me about something. So i'm probably in trouble for something. 

I knock on her apartment door and it takes her a quick minute to answer. One look into her face and it was easy to tell she was up set. I take her hands in mine and walk her over to her couch. "Whats wrong? Its obvious something is bothering you." I said and Theo averted her eyes.

"Come on Theo, you can tell me anything." I told her in the most comforting voice I could give. "What i'm upset about is stupid. Do you really wanna hear it?" She asked. "Yeah of course. If you need anyone to vent to i'm right here." I say kissing her on the cheek. "Alright." She says with a sigh.

"My dad called me last night and told me he's dating another woman. He said its been going on for about a year. When I asked why he didn't tell me sooner he said its because he didn't wanna hurt me. I get it makes him happy to be with this women but...I don't know...I guess I never saw him with anyone but my mom." Theo explained to me. "Did he tell you her name?" I asked.

"Eliza Jumel. My dad invited me to meet her tomorrow but i'm not sure if I want to do it." She responds. "Hey, i'll come with you if you want." I said. "And if you decide not to go at all i'm sure he'll understand. I'm not here to force you to anything you don't want to." 

"Alright...I guess i'm going to me my dad's girlfriend...this is gonna be quite the trip." She said. She said she was hoping it would only be a short one day trip.

I found myself in the driveway of Mr.Burr's house. Jesus Christ, only god knows how goddamn awkward this shit will be. 

Theo knocks on the door and Mr.Burr answers after a minute. "Theo! Come in!" Mr.Burr said in the most cheerful voice I had ever heard from him. I followed her and Mr.Burr didn't really pay me much mind. We walk into the kitchen and see Ms.Jumel in there. 

"Hi Ms.Jumel, I'm Theodosia but you can just call me Theo." Theo says, trying really hard to not be awkward. "Oh please Theo, call me Eliza." Ms.Jumel says. "I'd rather not." Theo says, clearly forcing a smile. 

"Alright...who is this boy here?" Ms.Jumel asks. "I'm Philip. Theo's boyfriend." I said. Anyways...the rest of the conversation was kinda like when your aunt that you haven't talked to since you were like a month old or something calls and your parents try to get you to talk to them.

Finally it ended and I drove Theo home. "So Theo, how did you think thast went?" I asked as we sat down on her couch. "I don't know...i'm not really sure I like her very much. Maybe i'm just salty." She responds. 

She then proceeds to vent to me about how tense she is about all this. Then she stops. "I'm sorry. I know you don't really care about my problems that much and their probably stupid." 

I kiss her on the lips. "Theo I get it, if your upset over this then your upset." She hugs me. "Thanks Philip. Thank you for always being there for me. Your the best boyfriend I could have asked for." 

I just kinda stood there awkwardly and I don't know why.  W Then in my idiot mind I just spat out "Theo would you..maybe..possibly.. want to makelovewithme?" 

"Wait...you serious? You want to do...it?" Theo sorta stuttered out. "Actually just forget it." I said. "No, I...sure why not?" Theo responded.

I stroked Theo's hair as she had fallen asleep in our little embrace. It didn't take long before I drifted off myself.

(A/N : I'm going to try to make the next chapter a lot long but like not sure how that will play out)
