Philip's P.O.V (short chapter coming up by the way)

Today I was once again taking Theo out. I was hella nervous but it was only our 2nd date so why wouldn't I be? I can't believe i'm doing this but i'm asking Georges for advice.

"Georges, how do you not get nervous on the second date?" I asked. "That straight forward mon ami? Well..its simple. Just make sure she's entertained and tell her that she isn't the crazy one even when she is. Trust me, I've learned that from your sister." He responds.

"Alright thanks." I say. Great. Just assure Theo she isn't the crazy one. Nice. (that's a little tip for all you men by the way)

I waited nervously for Theo outside the restaurant. She said she was running late because of her work. Maybe she's flaking on me. Theo pulled up soon. "Sorry, the boss was holding me up. We were in rush hour. I quickly threw together an outfit. I know I look bad." She said as she got out and walked towards me.

"No no! You look beautiful, trust me." I assured her. That's what girls like, right? To be showered with compliments?

(answer : depends on the girl tbh)

We go inside and I actually had surprised her with a reservation. I walk up to server. "Reservation for Philip and Theo?" I said. "Yes follow me sir."

"You seriously got a reservation?" She asked in surprise. "Yep. I want you to feel special." I told her. She seemed a little bit emotional. "Are you okay?" I asked. "No..well a little bit but...since my mom died me and my dad had been struggling. Honestly I just..really..I don't know what to say." She responds.

I take her hand and kiss her on the cheek. Just to be reassuring. 

"You have me. And Georges, Frances and Susan." I tell her. She nods.
