Theo's P.O.V

I finished putting all my crap into Philip's trunk. I couldn't believe the fact that I , Theodosia Burr Jr , was gonna be introducing myself to the Hamilton's as their son's girlfriend. Not once in a million years did I ever think this would happen. I was so nervous.

"Theo, you don't have to go if you don't want to go i'm not gonna force you." Philip reassured me. "No, i'm coming. Its your birthday and as your girlfriend of well..like 3 days..I should be there." I told him. No way in heckeroni was I backing out of this no matter how nervous I was.

We pulled up to the Hamilton house  and went inside. A woman holding a little boy in her arms came out of the kitchen. "Oh hello darling! Please come into the kitchen and have some snacks." She said. "Thank you Mrs.Hamilton!" I say. "Just call me Eliza." She says.

Then Mr.Hamilton comes into the kitchen. I mentally prepared myself for my fate. "Hey dad. As you know, this is Theo Burr my-" Philip began to say but was cut off. "Your girlfriend. Philip Hamilton, didn't I raise you better then this?! What excuse do you have to be dating a Burr girl?" Mr.Hamilton exclaimed. I saw Philip look at Angie and she smirked. 

"Angie did you seriously tell him?!" Philip half yelled. She nodded. "Angie i'm going to kill you." He says. "Alexander, can't you just accept this? If Philip and Theo have chemistry between them then so be it. If this ends badly then so be it. Just because you don't like who her father is doesn't mean you shouldn't like her." Eliza said to her husband.

Then the door practically burst open and panic started coursing through my veins. "Is he here?" I heard a voice ask. Oh god no. Its my dad. I grabbed Philip's hand. "Just know, that your most likely gonna die here." I whispered. He kissed me on the cheek as my dad came in the kitchen.

"Theodosia Burr, what the hell is going on here?! I thought Hamilton was only joking I-" 

"Dad calm down please. I like Philip, he likes me. Please can you leave it at that?" I begged, Philip's hand still in mine. "My daughter is dating a Hamilton! I can't just leave it at that!" He said.

Eliza just looked done with everything. She set her son down as the bickering grew. "Would you all just be quiet!" She yelled. From what Philip has told me about her, she almost never yells so when she did everyone shut right up.

"Jesus, would it kill you all just to accept the fact that children don't chose their parents? Alexander, just because you and Mr.Burr doesn't get along shouldn't affect how your children see each other! For the love of god you two are being extremely petty right now and are acting like children! Would it kill you just to put some of your differences aside for the sake of your children?" She stated. 

Mr.Hamilton and my dad looked at each other, looked at me and Philip, looked back at each other. "Alright then Eliza. I guess it wouldn't kill us to put our differences aside for once." Mr.Hamilton said and he and my dad shared a handshake. "Thank you." She said, a slight smirk in her voice.

"But if that Hamilton boy breaks your heart, don't come crying to me." Dad says. "I know, I know." I say leaning on Philip.

The rest of the day went pretty smoothly and nobody died.
