This chapter is dedicated to my senior rescue dog, Morgan, who crossed the rainbow bridge on Wednesday. I love and miss you little man, it would never be the same without you.

Minerva's Room,

Minerva sat at her desk, about to pen her thoughts down in her pink, leather back journal. She couldn't stop thinking about Asaph.

Usually her visions were about what would happen in a few days or hours time, and she always knew the people involved.

However, this was different. She had never seen this boy before now and this vision was about the far future. The commander in her dream was obviously royalty, so how could Asaph look exactly like him?

She started to write:

'Dear Diary,
Today, I met the boy in my dream, but I am uncertain of anything. I know one thing for sure though, I cannot just leave Asaph be. I must unravel this mystery.'

Ryna swung Minerva's door wide open.

      "Minnie come quick! Ascar has returned from his trip."

      "So early? The Creator heard your prayers." Minnie teased, standing up.

Ryna ran up to her to pull her along.

        "I'm not ready for your jokes today cousin. Come along!"

She bumped into Ascar in Minnie's doorway.

      "Ascar, you...." Ryna huffed.

      "Yes, me. It's good to see you too Ryna."

       "Well yes. Why are you back so early?" Ryna tucked stray tendrils of gold hair behind an ear.

    "Timore has returned."

    "Timore?"

    "Vessiye's oldest son. He requested to see me."

      "Oh I see. Ascar, shall we go for a walk in the gardens?"

       "You can't stand the flowers."

Ryna blushed.

         "I recently started to admire them."

He quirked an eyebrow.

         "I see. Well, I haven't greeted Minnie yet."

Ryna frowned.

         "I'm glad you're back Ascar. I hope you settled everything in Jehumem." Minnie said.
         
         "Yes, and about that. It looks like I might be coming along with you to Chestland."

            "Oh great Mother Earth!" Ryna exclaimed suddenly, hugging Ascar tightly.

Ascar's face registered complete shock and Minnie faked a cough to cover up a giggle.

          "Chestie women are very effusive in expressing their emotions." she explained.

Ascar nodded quickly and gave a sigh of relief when Ryna released him and offered a shy apology.

        "You're coming with us." Minnie prompted.

        "Yes. Your father and Vessiye have reached an agreement to encourage good relations between our two countries. Five Illearian youths would travel with your family back to Chestland to be trained for five years in modern warfare. Then, we shall return to Illearia and use our new found knowledge to develop it."

     "I think that's quite brilliant." Minnie replied, suddenly lost in thought.
     
      "Shall we go to the gardens now Ascar?" Ryna was trying very hard to mask her impatience.

        "Would you like to come along?" Ascar addressed Minnie.

        "I would have, but I must see father now."

Ascar nodded, but was quickly pulled away by Ryna before he could reply.
