2nd Pov

You and Team 7 we're currently on a boat that was hiding in the Mist. You and the Team were eyeing Tazuna since you all pretty much knew that this was beyond scope of the mission.

The bridge isn't far now. Our destination's just ahead, The Land of Waves." The person said, that was rowing the boat.

"You all look up to see a giant bridge that was currently not finished. You were impressed by the progress that Tazuna was making with the bridge.

"Woah! It's huge!" Naruto shouted.

"What? Quiet! I told you, no noise! Why do you think we're traveling like this, huh? Cutting off the engine and rowing, moving around the dense fog so they don't see us." The man reminded.

"Mr. Tazuna, before we reach the pier, I want to ask you something. The men who are after you, I need to know why. If you don't tell us, I'm afraid I'll have to end this mission here when we drop you ashore." Kakashi said seriously.

"Sensei..." You trailed.

It was silent for a minute until Tazuna finally spoke. "I have no choice but to tell you. No, I want you to know the whole truth. Like you said, this is beyond the scope of the original mission. The one who seeks my life is a very short man who casts a very long and deadly shadow." Tazuna said.

"A deadly shadow? Hmm, who is it?" Kakashi questioned.

"You know him. At least, I'm sure you heard his name before. He's one of the wealthiest men in the world. The shipping magnet, Gato." Tazuna said.

"Huh? Gato? Of Gato Transport? He's a business leader. Everyone knows him." Kakashi said in a surprised tone.

"Who? Who? What? What?" Naruto questioned.

"Gato is a very powerful tycoon from a famous Company, that's true. But below the surface, with the same ruthless methods he uses to take over businesses and nations, he sells drugs and contraband using gangs and ninja. It was one year ago when when Gato first set his sight on The Land of Waves. He came to our island and used his vast wealth to take total control of our transport and shipping. Anyone who tried to stand in his way simply disappeared. In an island nation, a man who controls the sea controls everything. Finance, government, our very lives. But there's one thing he fears, the bridge. When it is complete, it will join us to the land, and that will break his control. I am the bridge builder." He explained.

"So that's it. Since you're in charge of the bridge, you're standing in this gangsters way." Sakura said.

"That means those guys we fought in the forest, they were working for Gato." Sasuke added.

"I don't understand. If you knew he was dangerous, knew he'd send ninja to eliminate you, why did you hide that from us?" Kakashi asked.

"Sensei, the land of waves is very small, not much of the people here don't have much money. They are working very hard for this bridge, if it's complete, then they might end up with money so they can properly pay." You say.

Tazuna nodded his head. "(Y/n) is right. The common people who are building this bridge, they can't pay for an A or B ranked mission. It's too expensive. If you end this mission when you drop me ashore, there will be no bridge. They'll assassinate me before I reach home. But don't feel bad about that."

"Of course, my sweet little grandson will be upset. He'll cry, "Grandad! I want my grandad!", oh, and my daughter will condemn the ninja of the hidden leaves, denouncing and blaming you for abandoning her father and living her life in sorrow. Oh, well it's not you're fault. Forget it." Tazuna said.

You looked down sadly since a lot has changed within a year after you last saw them, you looked at Kakashi with hopeful eyes. "Well, I guess we have no other choice. Well have to keep guarding you." Kakashi says.

You brought your clenched fists up in happiness, "Yay." You say softly.

"We're approaching the shore." The man said, making you all enter a giant tunnel that leads to the island.

You see the island has looked much better in the daylight but the buildings itself look more worn out. It looked a bit different then the last time you came.

"That is far as I go. Good luck." The man said, "Thank you for taking such a risk." Tazuna thanked.

"Okay. Take me to my home, and I mean get me there in one piece." Tazuna ordered.

You all started to walk the way that leads to Tazuna's home. You were lost in thought thinking to yourself about what kind of elite ninja that Gato might send, are they more dangerous this time?

Your thoughts were interrupted when you hear Naruto throw a kunai, scaring the team by surprise. You look up to see Naruto all the way in the front, "It was just a mouse." He said. The team then started to scold him while you were just standing there with a blank confused look.

You then sniffed your nose in case anyone is actually around, and you found a unfamiliar scent. 'Wait a minute, someone is actually here...'

Naruto threw another kunai at a tree which Sakura got mad at and hit Naruto in the head for what he keeps doing. You and the team went to see it was a snow rabbit. You and Kakashi looked at it suspiciously.

'A snow bunny? They only got white fur when it's the winter with little sunlight.'

Kakashi quickly looks behind him and sees a giant sword swing in towards them, "Get down!" You all ducked your bodies as the sword hit the tree, and a ninja appeared on top of it.

You look at the very pale ninja, he looked very familiar to you for some reason.

"Well, well, if it isn't Zabuza Momochi, rogue ninja from the village hidden in the Mist." Kakashi mocked.

Naruto then tried to charge at the rouge ninja, but Kakashi stopped him. "You're in the way. Get back." Kakashi said seriously, "But why?" Naruto questioned. "He's not like those other ninja. He's in a whole other league. If he's our opponent, I'll need this." Kakashi said as he held his headband, the side that is covering his left eye.

"Kakashi of the sharingan eye. Did I get that right?" Zabuza questioned, "it's too bad, huh. But you'll have to hand over the old man."

Your team was very confused on what both Kakashi and Zabuza meant, but, you were confused yet not really at the same time. You knew what the sharingan was, but you know for a fact that your sensei isn't a Uchiha.

"Now quick. Manji formation! Protect the bridge builder, and stay out of this fight. I taught you teamwork, now it's time to use it." Kakashi ordered. Kakashi then revealed his left eye, revealing the sharingan.

"Well, looks like I get to see the sharingan in action. This is an honor." Zabuza fully faced Kakashi. Naruto then asks what the sharingan is since people keeps saying it and Sasuke explained it to him.

Mist started to formed around you all as you walked back closer to your team. "As for you, Jonin, in the assassination unit of the hidden Mist, we had a standing order to destroy you on sight. Your profile was in our bingo book. It called you "The Man who copied over 1,000 jutsu." Kakashi, the copy ninja." Zabuza blurted out.

You stared at your sensei with slight disbelief, your sensei copied over 1,000 jutsus during his years?

"Enough talking. I need to exterminate the old man, now." Zabuza said, as you four surround Tazuna with kunai's in your hand.

"So, I'll have to eliminate you first, eh, Kakashi. So be it." Zabuza quickly vanished and you all saw that he was doing a hand sign, while standing on the water.

"Ninja Art. Hidden Mist Jutsu!"

Mist surrounded your team even more, "Sensei, who is he?" Sakura questioned. "Zabuza Momochi. He's the Ex-leader of the assassination unit. He's a master of the silent killing technique." Kakashi explained.

"S-Silent?" Naruto stuttered.

"As the name stated, it happens in an instant. So don't lower your guard." Kakashi stated. The Mist around you started to get thicker.

"Eight points. Larnyx, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, heart. Now, which will be my kill point?" You all heard Zabuza.

You look right next to you that Sasuke was shaking in fear, he was holding a kunai and was ready to stab himself. Your eyes widen and quickly grabbed his hands. "Sasuke! You need to snap out of it! Your team is here with you, we can make it out together." You reassure, holding his hands tighter.

Sasuke was still shaking a bit, but he loosened up from your touch. He took a deep breath, and kept his composure. "I'll protect you with my life, all of you. I will not let my comrades to die. Trust me." Kakashi gave a closed eye smirk.

You narrow your eyebrows as you gripped your sword with your hand, "Neither will I, Sensei..." You muttered.

"I wouldn't be so sure... " Zabuza lowly says, as he quickly appeared right in front of Tazuna. You panicked a bit as he swinged his giant sword at Tazuna, but Kakashi stopped him by stabbing him.

You look down to see water spilling out of Zabuza. "It's a water clone!" You warned, "Die!" Zabuza sliced Kakashi in half, but, he turns out to be a water clone too.

The real Kakashi held a kunai to Zabuza's neck. "Don't move. Now it's over." He stated.

Zabuza did nothing but laugh, which confused Kakashi. "Finished? You really don't get it, don't you? Your technique is nothing but a crass imitation. I'll never be defeated by a member copycat ninja like you. You are full of surprises though. You'd already copied my water clone jutsu when you made your little soeech."

"Very skillfully executed. You made your clone to say those words to draw my attention while you hid in the mist, waiting for me to make my move. Nice try, but I'm not that easy to fool." Another Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi.

You quickly threw a kunai at the Zabuza that was in front of Kakashi, which revealed to be a clone too. "That one was a clone too!" Naruto said surprised.

Zabuza swings his sword at Kakashi, to which he dodge quickly, Zabuza used used his sword to swim kick Kakashi, sending him fly in to the water.

Zabuza quickly appeared behind Kakashi, Ha, fool. Water Prison Jutsu!" Zabuza trapped Kakashi in a water prison. You granted in frustration since you knew that water prison is stronger than steel.

You see that Zabuza made another water clone so it can attack your team. Zabuza disappeared in the most again as he reappears to kick Naruto.

"Listen, get the bridge builder and run! You can't win this fight! He's using all his power to keep me in this prison. So he can only fight you with his water clone. But the clone can't go far from his real body. If you get away from him, he can't follow. Now run!" Kakashi ordered. You look around you to see you team including Tazuna completely shaking.

You glared at Zabuza while glancing back at your team. You knew its gonna be impossible to outrun a jonin like him, you knew that the only rational option to do, is to rescue your sensei.

You took a deep breath, "I'm sorry, Sensei. But, this is the only time that I'm not gonna follow orders." You said deeply.

You quickly turned to your team. "Guys, I want you to protect Tazuna. I'm gonna deal with the clone, just in case Zabuza keeps making more, I'm gonna deal with it. While I am dealing with it, I want you all to come up with a plan to rescue Sensei. Got it!" You ordered as your team have a shaky nod.

You turned back to face Zabuza as you gripped your Sword.

"Time to play with my Katana, Zabuza."

You got in a position, "Dance of the Bee Sting: True Flutter."

You quickly dashed and slashed the water clone in rapid speed. Making Zabuza shocked, 'That speed...! She destroyed my clone in an instant! Wait a minute, she's wearing a butterfly hairpin, she must be a Kocho. The best clan that does sword techniques. She's also in my bingo book, she's a dangerous swordsman, I better be careful. '

"Huh, you attacked without any hesitation. Very nice. Maybe you have earned the title of Ninja, but, let's see more techniques you can use. Water clone jutsu!" Zabuza makes more clones but this time, he made five.

You continued to take some deep breaths.

"Breath of Mist, fifth form: Sea of Clouds and Haze."

You dashed forward and unleashed a fury of slashes on the clones. You don't want to waste your stamina by performing some breathing techniques but you gotta do it to keep your team safe.

"(Y/n)-Chan, get back!" You heard Naruto call you back, you immediately ran back and Naruto told you that he and Sasuke made a plan. You nodded since you trust them.

Sasuke brings out a shuriken, a big one in fact. "Demon wind Shuriken: Windmill of Shadows!" He then threw the Shuriken at the real Zabuza, to which he easily catches, but...

There was another Shuriken in the shadow of the first one. Since both of his arms were occupied, he couldn't miss it, but, he jumped over it to dodge. "I told you. You can't touch me!" He yelled.

But, you see the Shuriken poof, revealing Naruto. You were surprised to see him, "Eat this!" Naruto threw a kunai at Zabuza, which made him forcefully move his arm away from Kakashi's water prison.

Zabuza got mad and tried to hit Naruto with the Shuriken in his hand, but Kakashi blocked him. You smiled brightly, seeing Kakashi alright. You put your sword back into your sheath

"Naruto, that was an excellent plan. You've quite grown." Kakashi praised. Naruto explained on how he got the idea for the plan. Kakashi and Zabuza both began to perform a lot of hand signs at the same time.

You felt a little uneasy, so you went back to where Sasuke, Sakura, and Tazuna were. "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" They said in sync. You see both water dragons collide and a giant stream of water was head towards your way. You did a hand sign as you focused your chakra and sent the water back.

You can see that Kakashi and Zabuza being in sync again as they did some hand signs, but, Kakashi beat Zabuza to it. "Water Style: Giant Vortex Jutsu!" A giant water vortex sent Zabuza away somewhere but Kakashi went to where he was.

Zabuza crashed to a tree as Kakashi threw kunai's at his body as Zabuza groans in pain. "You're finished." Kakashi declared. Just as soon as Kakashi was about to finish Zabuza off for real, some needle went into Zabuza's neck, shocking everyone.

You all turn to see a tall boy, wearing a mask standing on a tree branch. You narrowed your brows as you took some sniffs of the person on the tree.

'This scent... I smell some purity, and some sadness, with a tiny bit of happiness? Strange. All I smell is the aspects of a pure person.'

The mask boy chuckles, "You were right. This was his last battle. Thank you, I've been tracking Zabuza down for a long time." The boy thanked, making you eye him suspiciously.

Kakashi went to go check on Zabuza's pulse, "No vital pulse." He trailed, making you confused a bit.

You can tell something was off, "So, you're a tracker from the Hidden Mist?" You questioned. The boy nodded and teleported down, lifting Zabuza's body, and disappeared.

You crossed your arms from the encounter of this masked boy. You turn your head a bit to see Naruto all frustrated and punching the ground, angry that the masked tracker took Zabuza down like it was nothing.

Kakashi talked to Naruto about the whole thing of him letting it go. You all got ready to walk to Tazuna's place, but then, Kakashi fainted.

"Kakashi-Sensei!" You all went to go check on him. You placed you hand on his face, "He's fine. He is passed out due to exhaustion. We should let him rest until he wakes up at Tazuna's place." You said as you did some hand signs.

(I made this little Jutsu. I was having trouble on how to say it...)

"Secret Jutsu: Zero Gravity Jutsu." You say softly as you touched your sensei and he floated a bit. You focused your chakra a lot so you can keep him steady.

"Okay. Let's get him somewhere to rest." You say as your team nodded and continued to walk.

Your eyes narrowed, thinking about that tracker ninja.

'That Tracker... That boy may have a pure smell, but, it's gives me a bit of a bad vibe... I better be careful and warn this to Kakashi-Sensei.'

✿ Zabuza actually quite feared (Y/n) since she was in the best swordsman clan and he himself uses a sword.

✿ When (Y/n) saw the mask on the tracker ninja. She remembered when she had a fox mask from Urokodaki.

Finally, I managed to finish the rest with almost half an hour,I had so much schookwork. Hope you guys enjoy this. I'm a bit excited to make the next one so I'll try to make the next chapter by tomorrow since I'm gonna be up super early cuz episode nine of season two of TPN is coming out and I need to be prepared for I!
