I'm writing this book for cancer awareness.

My best friend died from brain cancer in 2017 and on 4/26/21 12r0ses died from leukemia. (If you will go follow her that would be amazing. her dream is to be famous, let's fulfill it)

Cancer takes our loved ones in a blink of an eye. If you know someone that has cancer, tell them you love them every day because they could be leaving your life soon.

My best friends name was Scout Rodgers. She died on August 15, 2017. Man was she a great person.

I didn't go visit her as much as I should've and for that I feel bad.

She was such a bubbly person, you wouldn't even believe she had cancer. She never once complained or was upset because she has cancer.

She was always so happy. Scout was an artist. Aw man she was so good at drawing.

The day she died I found out at school, last period of the day. It was so tragic. I just remember being in choir not even being able to sing because I was just bawling.

I have two songs I remember scout by: titanium by David Guetta and H.O.L.Y by Florida Georgia line. She had dances for both of those songs and we would dance together.

Scouts funeral was the first I had ever been to. It was such a wonderful but emotional time for everyone.

No matter how far apart we are, I will always remember her and her beautiful smile.

I named this book 'butterflies' because that's what represented my best friend.

So I dedicate this book to Scout and everyone out there with cancer; I truly hope you get better:)
