THE YELLOW DOORS.
"Sara?" Joe says, surprised.
"Hi guys. I got your letter. Sorry I couldn't be here in the morning like your letter said. I had a dentist appointment."
"No biggie," I said.
"Where is everyone else?" Sara asked.
"They didn't come," I said with a frown.
"Why not?"
"I'm not so sure."
"Maybe I could convince them to sit with us...I could convince them at the bus stop."
"Sara?"
"Yes?"
"Are you sure you want to see them again?"
"What makes you think I don't?"
"...One of them spread...well I mean...one of them hurt you."
"I-I'm fine," she sighed, "it's all in the past. I'm sure they wouldn't hurt me again."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive."
The bus came to a stop at our drop-off ten minutes later. I gathered my stuff and followed my friends down the aisle. I squished my way through the tightly spaced aisle.
I tried not to trip on people's feet that purposely stuck out. They thought it would be funny to see someone trip.
I made my way out of the yellow doors. The yellow doors that would lead to where everything would begin. I would never know what all this would lead to even if I rewinded a thousand times.
