Chapter 1: The eyes
The green eyes of the elf look at the fellowship. She sighs and retreats into the shadow of the trees. Legolas hears her and looks up where the sound came from but sees nothing. He turns to Aragorn. "We must leave; it's not safe," he says. "No," Aragon says, not opening for any argument. "The princeling is right, Aragorn." A voice suddenly rings thru the silent air.
All of the fellowship whips around to face an elleth. (Pic above). But they notice something different about her appearance. Her whole aura was different than the other elves. "Who are you?" Sam says, and Aragon and Legolas draw their weapons. "You shall see," the elleth says, and suddenly, she's gone. The rest of the fellowship stands there bewildered. "Where did she go?" Pippin said and looked around. Nobody answers him, and they continue in silence.

Frodo walks alone, some feet away from the fellowship. Suddenly he hears something, but it turns to be Boromir. He has stacks of wood in his arms. "None of us should wander alone." He says and glances at Frodo before picking up another wood. "You least of all," heads and turns to Frodo, who's silent. "Frodo?" He says, small concern in his voice. "I know why you seek solitude. You suffer. I see it day by day. You sure you do not suffer needlessly? There are other ways, Frodo, other paths that we might take." Boromir says.
"I know what you would say. And it would seem like wisdom but for the warning in my heart." Frodo says. "Warning? Against what? We're all afraid, Frodo. But to let that fear drive us to destroy what hope we have... don't you see, that is madness?" Boromir tries, but Frodo is stubborn and says something that makes something tick in the gondorian man. "There is no other way!" Frodo says. "I ask only for the strength to defend my people!" Boromir explains and throws the wood on the ground. But just before the man c/m leach out, a voice pierced the air, making them both freeze.
"Leave the halfing, son of Denethor," it says. Both Frodo and Boromir turn around to see the same brown-haired elleth that the others saw a few minutes ago. Boromir moves his hand to the hilt of his sword but doesn't draw it. Then the elleth walks closer. Soon she's just a few feet from the two. She raises her hands and beacons Frodo to come to her. Frodo hesitates but does as she says, and soon he's in her embrace. The elleth crochlese down and looks Frodo right in the eye.
"Why did you wander alone, ring bearer?" She said. Worry lacing her words. Frodo didn't know what to do or to say, so he just was quiet. Boromir just stood there, but suddenly he noticed something glow at Frodo's side. "Frodo, your sword!" He says, and Frodo draws his sword and sees that it burns blue. The elleth stands and draws her sword too. "Go!" She speaks, and Frodo starts to run towards where the camp is.
Suddenly Aragorn appears, and they fight altogether. Sam is searching for Frodo in the woods. "Mister Frodo!" He calls.
"Find the Halflings! Yaggh! Find the Halflings!" Lurtz yells to his fellow Uruk-hai. Legolas and Gimli run forward from behind the ruin. Legolas shoots several Uruk-hai; Gimli lands blows with his ax. The elleth is also landing blows with her swords. Soon she's gotten enough and let her blades go. She lifts her hands, and suddenly all the uruks are blown away from her. The rest looks at her in surprise, but soon she's gone again.
"Aragorn! Go!" Legolas says, and Aragorn runs after the elleth. Frodo runs and hides behind a tree. Across the way, Merry and Pippin hide in a space under some fallen tree trunks. "Frodo!" "Hide here! Quick! Come on!" They call. Frodo looks at them, then shakes his head. "What's he doin'?" Pippin says, worried, and looks at merry. "He's leavin'," Merry says solemnly. "No!" Pippin exclaims and runs out towards Frodo. "Pippin!" Merry says and runs after him. Merry and Pippin are out in the open. Several Uruk-hai is coming down the hill towards them.
But before they can even see the halflings, the brown-haired elleth appears and lands in front of them and pushes them away with her powers. But they get up again, and the elleth looks at Frodo. "Run, Frodo! Go!" She says in his mind. Merry then cups his hands and calls out to the Uruk-hai. "Hey! Hey you! Over here!" "Hey!" Over here!". Both Hobbits run away from Frodo. The Uruk-hai troop follows them. Frodo makes a break for it, running in the opposite direction. The elleth is gone but fights some Uruk-hai here and there.
"It's working!" Pippin exílame. "I know it's working! Run!" Merry says and runs. Back at the hilltop, Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli continue to fight the Uruk-hai. In one smooth move, Legolas stabs one Uruk with an arrow then shoots it out at another. Gimli wields his ax. Aragorn stabs one behind his back.
Merry and Pippin run across an old stone bridge. At its far end, they stop and see Uruk-hai running towards them. The Uruks are closing in, both in front and behind. An Uruk runs up to them, raising his battleax. Boromir comes charging in, knocks the Uruk back, and kills him with his ax. He throws a knife at another. More close in. The elleth sends blows of energy at the beasts, but they come back. Soon she understands that she will be no help here and disappear as fast as she came.
Legolas kills Orc after Orc. He shoots down an Uruk who has closed in on Aragorn. Three loud horn blasts are heard. "The Horn of Gondor!" Legolas exclaims. "Boromir!" Aragorn says and runs towards the sound of the horn. He runs down the slope towards the sound, but Uruks are between him and Boromir. The forest sweeps by as he goes. Boromir sounds like the Horn of Gondor again. The Uruks attack Boromir. Aragorn battles madly towards Boromir. Boromir kills two more. Merry and Pippin stab some Orcs.
"Run! Run!" Boromir says to the hobbits. The Uruk-hai leader walks into view. Boromir fights on. Merry and Pippin continue to throw rocks. The captain aims a black-fletched bow. He shoots. Boromir jerks backward at the blow to his left shoulder. Merry stops in mid-throw as Boromir falls. The Hobbits look at him in shock. Boromir begins to breathe hard. Uruks come closer, and Boromir gives a battle cry, rises, and swings his sword at one, who falls. The Uruk chieftain growls and walks down the slope. He lifts his bow and shoots again as Boromir turns to look at him.
A black arrow flies into Boromir's stomach. He drops to his knees again, gasping. Merry and Pippin still stand in shock, rocks in hand. Boromir stares into their eyes. Boromir gets back up and swings his sword at another Uruk. The captain shoots him one more time in the chest. Boromir falls on his knees and stays there, swaying a little and blinking. His horn is cloven in two. Merry and Pippin look at him, aghast. They take up their swords and attack the Uruk-hai.
The Uruk-hai lift them and carry them off. Merry and Pippin wave their arms frantically. The Uruk-hai troop walks away from Boromir, who looks on helplessly. The captain stops before his foe. Boromir swallows and stares back at him. The chieftain snarls and pulls his bow back, ready to deliver the final blow. Aragorn crashes into him, and the arrow flies off harmlessly. The captain and Aragorn fight. Aragorn loses his sword and is thrown to the ground; when he gets up, the Uruk-hai warrior throws a two-prong shield at Aragorn, pinning him by the neck against a tree.
The brown-haired elleth comes into view, and suddenly the Uruk-hai warrior is lying on the ground, dead. She helps then Aragorn with getting off the shield before they both run to Boromir. Boromir, pale and bloodied, is now lying on his back. Aragorn kneels near Boromir, who grabs Aragorn's shoulder. The elleth kneels beside Aragon, examining the wounds. "They took the little ones," Boromir says. "Be still." The elleth says as the duo continues to look at Boromir's injuries.
"Frodo! Where is Frodo?" Boromir says and grabs the elleth by the shoulder. "We let Frodo go," Aragorn says. "Then you did what I could not. I tried to take the Ring from him." Boromir says. "The Ring is beyond our reach now," Aragorn says. The elleth is quiet and stands up. Sorrow in her face. She may not know Boromir that strong, but she could see that he was a good man. No, Boromir, you fought bravely! You have kept your honor." Aragorn says and reaches out to pull the arrows from Boromir.
"Leave it! It is over. The world of men will fall, and all will come to darkness... and my city to ruin." Boromir breathes. "I do not know what strength is in my blood, but I swear to you I will not let the White City fall... nor our people fail!" Aragorn says. "Our people? Our people." Boromir says, and a smile spreads on his pale lips. He reaches for his sword. Aragorn places the hilt in his hand and helps Boromir clasp it to his chest. "I would have followed you, my Brother... my Captain... my King!" Boromir says before his last breath leaves him. Aragorn touches his hand to his forehead, then to his lips in respect. The elleth does the same from her stance.
"Be at peace, son of Gondor." bends and kisses Boromir on the brow. Legolas and Gimli arrive at the scene. Legolas looks sadly at Aragorn and Boromir. Gimli bows his head and turns away. Aragorn stands up, and the elleth places a hand on his right shoulder. "He was a good man; let him join the ancestors." She says and squeezes Aragorn's shoulder in sympathy. "They will look for his coming from the White Tower. But he will not return." Aragorn says, and a single tear finds its way down his cheek.

Good chap, eh? Well, I will probably continue this story since I'm rather tired of begging on a story and not finishing it. So I'll try my best on this. ☺︎
