I wonder what that was all about..

I took out my keys, noticing that I had finally made it home. I unlocked the door and entered the apartment.

Taking Yukiko carefully out of my pocket, I placed her gently on my pillow. Then I walked into the bathroom and shut the door.

I took off my coat and pulled up my shirt. Blood had already soaked through the bandage.

I looked through drawers and found a First Aid Kit. I opened it and searched for the stitches.

I found the antibiotic cream and the bandages. After rummaging a few more seconds, I found the stitches.

I had somehow forgot about my arm. It didn't even seem to be healing at all... maybe I was rushing and decided not to stitch my wound.

I then finished it and stitching it. I let go a sigh I didn't know I was holding and leaned against the door. I stared at the weird frame on the side of the wall and noticed it's beautiful details.

It was a clash of different colors. If you looked closely, you'd see a beautiful painting of a sparrow. I smiled. I don't know why, but I did.

I exited the bathroom and took my jacket and threw it in the hamper. I'll do the laundry after I finish eating.

Making quick ramen, I finished it and grabbed the hamper. I go to the laundry room right near my bathroom and put the clothes in the wash. Finishing that, I go out the balcony and look at the already midnight sky. I haven't been looking for planets much today. And it's too bright in the city, I still wouldn't be able to find Saturn.

Taking my telescope, I look through it and find a bright star. I didn't want to look to close unless I wanted to be blind. I grabbed my telescope and put it in a different place.

Chu seemed to be very sleepy today, I thought to myself as I looked at her and gently rubbed her forehead. She is a cute bunny. Well, she's sleepy from doing such a good work on the Festival. People are sure to have fun.

Closing my eyes, I take a deep breath and sleep.

Unable to sleep, I get up and walk to my kitchen. My mother has tried so hard for us. When I got kidnapped for 3 weeks, she worked her way up the institution and was able to get help to save me. Now I have to repay her back. She sold her body and soul to save me. I need to do it in return. My mom is closest to our boss after all. I need to impress them.

Opening the fridge, I look through the content of food and found a small cake. I grabbed juice and went on to my counter. I ate the cake and finished the juice. I washed it and right when I turned around, my mother peeked up at me and scared me.

"Oh~ My dear little Mousy~~~~ You know Mama loves you right, darling?" ,my mother said to me as she hugged me.

I smiled back and replied, "Yes mama. I love you too."

"Great. Now. Make sure you brush your teeth and take a good night's sleep. The festival is in 3 days. Okay?"

"Yes mama.",I smiled. I walked to my room and went into my bathroom. Brushing my teeth, I finish. Spitting out the toothpaste I looked at myself.

My black hair. Short. Bangs. My glasses. My short figure. I looked at my breasts. They're small. Yukiko has big ones. Just her bra or whatever keeps it hidden. Taking a sigh, I walk away and jump into my bed.

I close my eyes and fall asleep.

Searching up documents of Yukiko, I couldn't find her past or her whe- right. She's staying with Kenta.

There was just something different. Something so... how could I explain it. It was weird in it's own way.

A knock was on my door, I looked up and said, "Come in."

A man in black clothing appeared and gave me an envelope. "Is this it?, "I asked.

He nodded and with that, he left me with the envelope. I had him search and spy on Yukiko a bit.

Opening the envelope there were pictures of Yukiko in a room with Mizutani-san. Then a few strange photos showed up. Yukiko seemed to have... bunny ears?! What? That can't be. I look closely, then I noticed that they were actually real.

They seemed- She. She seemed a bit familiar. I went into my file cabinet and unlocked the drawer.

I searched through the alphabets trying to find the E. I find it and search the the files until I find;

Experimental Research Production Center

File A-B. Animal DNA and human subjects mixing.

It has said that animal DNA have been mixed into the human blood on human subjects who were worthy.

There were other human subjects who gave birth while having DNA transported into them, making it transfer to their babies and the DNA would be able to mix well with the Animal DNA. If the babies died, then that means they were a failure and the woman who gave birth would be casted away into a fire and die there.

This case has been illegal so I made Kenta work on this case.

I searched through more and found only about 8 subjects who have been able to contain and meet to the scientists expectations.

The subjects who were able to complete the process of the human DNA and animal DNA mix.

There were Two bunnies- The Yoh sibllings.

A panda- Daisuke Tsubasa

A snake- Aiana Aishitera

A dog and a cat- The Sakuchii siblings

A hamster and monkey- The Kamiya siblings

So far the bunnies have shown more progress so they were more tested on than the rest.

I sighed and put the papers down. I haven't really looked into this case. I just knew that they were kidnapping people and they did experiments on them and killed them.

I should've looked into this case a long time ago. This was Kenta's frst job too.

The subjects that have made the progress of Animal DNA have ran away once Kenta interfered into the Production Center. 3 tested subjects died though. So there was no hope in finding more details of the case and how they were changed.

I saw a tiny piece of paper sicking out and looked at it. It was written so small that I had to put on my reading glasses and zoom in more.

They've.. added modifications on the girl, Yoh Yukiko because her body was able to adapt more into the DNA?!

I looked at the picture and saw a disk fall out.

Day 110. Experimenting on Yoh Yukiko.

Age 4. Abilities being modified with weaponry.

I took the disk and put it in my laptop. I clicked on the data and saw the video. She was being painfully treated and very harsh as electric currents went into her to add the weaponry.

Painful screams echoed inside that white room. She was just a little girl.

I looked away and took the disk out.

There was something very wrong with this... Why her? Why not her brother? And where is her brother anyways?

I'm sure Yukiko-chan would've found him, but she probably can't remember anything since the treatment made her have amnesia.

Sitting on my bed, I worked on the costumes for the girls in my class. I had to, to alter something in my maid costume.

I finish and sigh.

Just two days from now it'll be the festival...

Where everything happens... and ends...

I clenched my fists and grit my teeth. I know what to do.

Knock, knock.

I look at the place of the knocking sound at my door. My mother must need me.

I get up and open the door.

"Yes, mama?"

She hands me a small black bunny and says, "This is him. He's been a complete trouble. Take care of him. I have some business to deal with Mizu-chan."

I nod and take the black bunny known as Komiyahma.

He was very kind but he was very very dangerous.

I yawned and place him on a futon, then I walk towards my bed and fall on it exhausted.

It is tiring today.

Usually I would've been able to sleep better but the same dream keeps happening.

Brother, Kenta-Nisan, has been killed many times in my dream because of me.

I walk up to my door and open it to the chilly air of the hallway.

Ever since he left, mother and father have placed all their hopes into me.

I don't want to be pressured since I am applying for an early college.

I walk down the stairs until I'm at the kitchen. Opening the fridge, I get out a small cake from the patisserie bakery down the road near Tsubaka local stationary store.

It was a really great strawberry cake with a chocolate Rilakuma on there.

It was yummy.

Yes, my mother has told me to watch my weight, but honestly, I don't really care. I want to be a free spirit and disappear to where no one can find me and where I can gaze at the pretty sunset and the mysterious beautiful moon.

Mmmm. This cake is the best!

I took a sip of milk near the cake.

A sudden flashback makes my mood glum.

(FlashBack)

"Onee-chan!!!!!!!" He yelled for me.

"Oni-san!" I yelled.

I pointed to a bird nest as Kenta-Nisan came closer.

"Look! The mama is leaving the babies. Ni-san, it's so sad. Who's going to take care of the baby birds?" My eyes watery as I asked him. Afraid.

He looked surprised and then smiled, "Onee-chan. It's okay. She'll be back. She won't ever leave her babies. But her babies will leave her one day to venture out in the world. They're safe. Don't worry."

My eyes teared up. I cried, "I don't want Oni-san to ever leave me! I don't want to be alone."

He patted my head and looked down to me, smiling, he said, "I won't ever leave you."

(FlashBack Over)

He even said he wouldn't leave me! And guess what. He did. Now I'm with my parents who expect too much from me.

Ughhh! Damn brother.

In a rage, I place the empty glass cup and plate into the sink and walk back up to my room. I'm never going to trust him ever again!

I close my door and stomp into my bed. He probably never even knew of when I got kidnapped for three days when I was in Middle School.

Hmph. Whatever. It's not like I am attached to Nisan anymore.

Besides.. that guy... He's... cute. Friends of Kenta-kun are very handsome... hmmm...
