HOST: Authortius: Good day, viewers, and welcome to the first-ever talk show " ON THE HOT SEAT " with our esteemed guests, the JHS-2 -Finalists. We are incredibly honoured to welcome Academy Award nominees to the show for the first time. A special guest will also be present. Let's welcome our Mr Sunshine Jung Hoseok!!!aka Jhope!!!

Jhope wave excitedly to all the entranced nominees as he quickly gave a cute dance move. The audience leapt up and shout his name. The nominees were beside themselves.

"Hi girls, I'm your hope. You my hope....and I'm Jhope!!! "

Jhope smile widely as he hold out his hand and gestured to all flustered nominees to come and join him in a short dance challenge of "Permission to dance"

oh lordy...I'll trip over him! she fans herself, @Nike_of_the_hills, giggling nervously.

I'm so in, dancing with our Hot Hobi... gosh! my friends will be so jealous. Let's do it, girls. Smirks

1. What impact does BTS have on Hoseok's writing and what impact do they have on yours? 

 I'm not sure about the first part. It could be the same impact that our family has on us. As for the second part, the impact BTS had on my writing is significant, if not huge. They've given me a base. A haven in a way to come and seek inspiration when I'm stuck.

 2. J-Hope and Jimin are dubbed "the eternal roommates". The former is neat and organized, while the latter creates messes (much to Hobi's chagrin lol). What do you think would happen if you were roommates with Hoseok? 

I think we can make it work if we were to be roommates. I'm not the most organized out there but I tend to adapt to different situations and routines pretty fast and adopt the ways of people I'm supposed to get along with. I think we'd be fine as roommates. Maybe I'll even develop some organizing skills.

 3. If Hobi asks you out on a date? What will you choose? A movie at home/ A street lunch or go to an underground street dance festival, And why?

Ahhh... I've never been out on a date so I wouldn't exactly know what kind of first date or any date I like. Maybe a movie at home... Or the underground street dance festival. These two seemed to be scenarios where I can pick up a conversation. The longer I converse with someone the better. So by the end of the date, we'd be over the awkwardness. Hopefully. Lol

 4. When writing Hobi what cliches do you like to write that fit with his personality? 

Hoseok's personality... I've never thought much of it. He looked like a sweetheart and eventually I learned that he really is a sweetheart. The Hoseok that I wrote wasn't based on his real character or personality. The only similarity in their personalities would be that they're both sweet. The Hoseok that I have in mind when I write has a versatile personality. That picture I have in mind, I got it from reading different fanfictions here. Unlike the others, Hoseok is that character who has been portrayed as a different character. He is the hero in some. The Anti-Hero in some. He's a sidekick, a filler character etc. So whenever I write a character for Hoseok in any of my stories I tend to make him different. In The Third Confession, Hoseok is a person who is emotionally dependent on lots of people. He also hates to disappoint and makes bad decisions himself and lets others make bad decisions for him too. But the Hoseok that I have written in 'When Our Worlds Collide' which is another story of mine I made him be an understanding man with lots of maturity. He plays the character of a scientist in that story. He is the Main Character in it too. In Seoul Nights where he plays a caseless lawyer, he's a funny guy who jokes even when things go wrong. Doesn't mean that he's less intelligent or anything. It just means that he is calm and composed and can think straight even when standing on his head. I have a few more different Hoseok's under construction which are all different from the other. I wanted to avoid cliches in my stories but I'll almost always end up with one. Strangers to Lovers was my favourite cliche troupe. Since it's a Hoseok story I'll mostly end it with the King of Cliches 'Happily Ever After'. I can't imagine ending a story with that man crying. Really. 

But I really do want to write a Passionate Lover Hoseok who could rule the world if he wanted to. I've read that version of Hoseok in this story called 'Important Business' or 'IB' as we call it by. I want to write a character as memorable as that which even though many have written about, stands out in the spotlight on its own. Mad Scientist Hobi is on my list too.

5. What is your favourite nickname or name for Hobi?

Hoba. I don't know why but I just like it.

1.What version of Hobi do you like to write, Funny and cute Hobi or Serious dance instructor Hobi?

As you know, our Hobi is always smiling and gets serious when he wants to, so I had picture him that (in his canon character) in my book called "Let Me Be Your Man." But I had a lot of fun writing the opposite, i.e., "bad and dramatic" Hobi in "BTS Oneshot". Would like to explore a Yandere Hobi in my next book. maybe with a different occupation hehe. 

 2. What drew your attention to Hobi first? 

Honestly, it's very hard to find a good Hobi fanfic in Wattpad, and since I'm drawn to the Hyung line more and had already written KNJ, KSJ and MYG fanfics before, so Hobi is definitely next. Hobi really deserves more attention!

3 Hoseok's writing style is performative; arduous to achieve but yields spectacular results.

 Is that a statement or a question? Haha. 

4. What habits of yours would annoy him and vice versa?

Actually, I have the same MBTI as Hobi! I like to clean, give praises, being self-conscious of my surrounding, scared of heights and bugs etc.. Oh man, we will definitely get along well! *wink*
