5 ⚔️ Responsibilities
"Come on let's go" Diato spoke as he threw himself on the passenger seat of the car, clenching his fists
Terra was already seated on the driver's seat. She shifted the gear and accelerated. Diato popped his head out of the window and locked his gaze on the dragons. Terra also gazed at the dragons every ten seconds or so to make sure she was following them correctly.
The car was an SUV so the terrain wasn't a problem, but the trees didn't give the car enough space to go through the virgin vegetation. Terra turned the car and drove at the edge of the virgin vegetation, encircling it. The edge however, was rougher than earlier. The whole car bounced up and down, with the suspension doing its best to keep the car stable.
She eventually reached the main rough road where the car could actually drive. She narrowed her eyes, focusing on the sky in a way that both the dragons and the road were visible in her peripheral vision. Diato on the other hand, was also locked onto the dragons. He threw his hand to the backseat and pulled out Terra's gun.
"I think they're headed for the organization" Diato mentioned, his gaze still locked on the dragons, as he pulled the hammer of the gun down. He was about to aim for the dragons, but found Terra's hand gripping his forearm.
"Don't waste any bullets" Terra ordered as she snatched the gun softly from Diato's hand, "You'll miss." She threw the gun in her lap, and grabbed the gear again.
He glanced back inside - at the backseat of the car. He found his and Terra's weapons lying on the seat. Terra's weapons were carelessly stacked on top of her suit, while Diato's weapons were arranged systematically, beside his folded up fireproof suit. He again glanced back outside, to find the dragons were already near the organization.
He pulled out his bow from the backseat, along with a single arrow. He loaded up the arrow and threw his torso out of the window. He pulled the string and aimed at the dragons.
"Sit the fuck down, Diato" Terra tightened her grasp on the steering wheel, "You'll miss!"
But he didn't listen. He threw himself back on the seat and the arrow wasn't loaded up anymore. She knew the arrow was fired. He threw the bow to the backseat again with a smile hung on his face.
"Never doubt my aim" He spoke arrogantly, locking his gaze again on the dragons.
"You shot one of them down?" Her eyes widened as she turned her head toward him, keeping her pupils locked on the road,
"I didn't" Diato spoke, still with the same arrogant smile hanging on his face, "But please don't doubt it - it - it makes me insecure." He spoke in a tone as if he achieved something.

Hellen transformed her upper body into her human form, and kept the lower body as it is to be able to use the tail in its full potential. She gestured to Allen to go to the Terrace as she lowered herself to the ground floor, as they flew nearer to the building.
Allen gained some height and turned himself into his human form just like Hellen. His upper body: made of skin and flesh and the lower body still containing the black scales, and his tail. He stopped flapping his wings and straightened them to glide to the empty rooftop.
He was just thinking about what to use as a weapon when he gazed at the door that led to the Terrace. It was left open dramatically as if someone was about to enter. He was yet to land when he saw the flaming hateful eyes of a female Drayer, with an injured nose. She entered the Terrace, dressed up in her fireproof suit.
She had a thick rope clinging around her waist loosely held there by a small but heavy anchor. She had a dagger with reverse grip in one hand and a hatchet grasped tightly in the other hand.
Allen's eyes widened as he planted his feet against the terrace floor, forcing himself to almost a crash land. He gazed at Bella who seemed to be standing alone at the Terrace, but this was when he saw more Drayers come from behind her. All of them were in black fireproof suits with different weapons hanging on them. They entered through the doorway behind Bella but it looked like they emerged from Bella like a cinematic showdown.
Bella was the one who called them to the rooftop. Bella saw Allen and couldn't figure out if he was an actual dragon or some sort of hybrid. In any case, a dragon is a dragon. And this one might be a strong one as James freaked out when he heard about a black and a purple dragon.
She also noticed an arrow stabbed in the dragon's knee. Now she knew why the dragon crash landed - but what the fuck was this dragon doing on the terrace of the dragon slaying organization?
Allen gazed down at his knee when he saw her notice the arrow. Allen had no idea who shot the arrow but he couldn't care less. These arrows were made to kill Infernos - not Murkies. He wrapped his fingers around the arrow and pulled it out. It was splattered with blood, but the wound healed quickly. Just as Allen threw the arrow aside like discarded trash, the wound was nowhere to be seen. He jerked his head back at Bella, who looked prepared.
Bella raised the reverse gripped knife, to her nose level, as she crouched; her knees cracking a bit. Without a second thought, She charged at the dragon along with others marching towards him. Everyone drew their weapons, and charged at the black half transformed dragon without making a sound, like an army of ants heading towards a heap of sugar.

Terra screeched the car's brakes at the foot of the Drayers building. She jumped out of the car and opened the backside door. They didn't have enough time to wear the fireproof suits. She snatched her urumi and slammed the door shut. She made her way to the other side of the car.
Diato's one had grasped the club's hilt, and the other hand was taking off his T-shirt. He threw the shirt inside the car through the open window, and leaned inside to grab his knife. He snatched it out of the seat and clenched his jaw as crimson red wings popped out of his back.
They were smooth as butter but only Diato knew how painful they really were. It felt as if his upper back was being torn apart by a flaming hot metal blade. He squared his shoulders as the pain only lasted a second. His wings expanded to his sides, getting ready for flight.
Terra strolled near him, and tightened her grip on the curled up urumi. Diato threw his hand around her waist. He slightly pulled on her waist, as she jerked her head toward him, throwing him a angry - almost disgusted look. 'what the fuck?' she wanted to say.
Diato side hugged her tightly as he flapped his wings and took off the ground. Terra's eyes widened as she twitched her other arm around, gripping across his chest. She was quick enough and saved herself a fall. For the first time, it felt weird. Diato had not felt this uncomfortable in a long time. It wasn't because he wasn't wearing a shirt, but because he hadn't taken a shower today. He could smell his bad body odour without moving his head.
'Oh, poor Terra' he thought as he flapped his wings harder and flew higher.
In no time, they were above the Terrace - Prepared to charge at the dragon from above. He glanced at Terra who was ready to jump. She threw her urumi blade down and uncurled it. Diato tightened his grip on the club as he prepared to strike from above with Terra.

Hellen thrust her feet against the glass window - shattering it. She rolled inside on what seemed like a wide lobby. She quickly threw herself on her feet and curling her wings around her torso to cover herself. The wings wrapped around her gracefully as if doing it for the hundredth time. She turned her lower body to her human form as well, to move freely inside the corridor, as the wings covered her enitre body like a long dress.
She jerked her head around in both directions. On one side - there was a glass door - most probably automatic but there was no on inside. On the other side, she saw someone halting their sprint.
It was Lailah - the librarian. Her heart sank as she saw a dragon enter through a window and quickly spot her. She quickly gained control over herself. 'I am a trained dragon slayer who can kill a dragon - without dying' she told herself, as she raised the single barrel sawed off - Shotgun she was holding and took aim, with one arm.
Hellen's lips curled into a smirk, as she squared her shoulders and turned to her.
"You think- " Hellen gritted with venom, but was interrupted.
Lailah shot the bulled straight at Hellen's head. The bullet exploded her head, pieces of skull and flesh flying across the corridor. some drops of blood managed to reach her face. Hellen almost fell to the ground, but her body managed to stay standing. Her blown off head had exploded into so many pieces that Lailah couldn't even figure out which piece of flesh served what purpose in her head. But Lailah didn't waste a single second, and dashed beside the headless Hellen to reach the library before she could.
Hellen's body fell on her knees as Lailah passed it. Before it could, fall to the ground, nerves and muscles twisted up her broken neck and filled in the space - as if healing it. She saved her fall with her hands supporting her headless body, while her bones regenerated like a starfish but faster. In no time - the face was completely regenerated and no one could tell her head exploded a few seconds ago.
Lailah jerked her head to make sure Hellen was down but her eyes grew wide as she saw her face. Hellen jerked her head towards Lailah - her eyes showing no sign of adrenaline. Lailah sprinted as fast as she could while reloading the shotgun. Lailah's heart beating against her ribs, she couldn't gaze behind to make sure Hellen was following.
Unfortunately enough, all the Drayer weapons used a metal that was capable of killing Inferno dragons, but Hellen and Allen weren't Infernos.
Hellen on the other hand - wasn't eager to fight with Lailah. She wanted to know why Lailah was running away instead of fighting her. She slowly strolled behind her as Lailah dashed thought the corridor. This is when it struck Hellen. 'The only reason she'd stay down here is that she must be protecting something' she thought.
"I GAVE THAT RESPONSIBILITY TO SOMEONE ELSE!" Shez had said. Hellen's eyes grew open as she realised that this girl with the shotgun was the one protecting the key. And that's why she was down here while the others were busy fighting Allen on the Terrace.
Lailah reached her desk and pulled the drawer open with unnecessarily high force. She saw the key laying wide open in the drawer instead of being covered with envelopes and mission letters. She jerked her head back at Hellen, and again aimed her shotgun at her only to find out Hellen already struck first.
Hellen flicked her arm towards Lailah and threw a surge of electricity in her direction. It seemed like an electrically charged rope but without the rope. It made its way through the corridor in no time and reached Lailah, as she realised she had no time to dodge. In the corner of her eye, she saw the reality warping in a circle. She thought it must be some sort of hallucination, before she died of that attack - as she knew there was no going back now, and no matter what she did, she couldn't deflect the literal electric charge.
