Jake finally calmed down and Bryce let him go.

"I...I messed up,"

Bryce shook his head.

"Jake...you can not blame yourself for this,"

Jake just sighed. Nicholas finally looked up from his paralyzed state.

"It is not your fault Jake...I failed her...after all the years that she has been there for me, I failed her when she needed me most...when she just wanted me to support her decision, I didn't. I love her, she's my sister...I failed my best friend and I can't do anything about it. I swore 12 years ago that we would be best friends forever, I broke a pinky swear,"

He was in tears at the end of his small speech. Jake and Bryce felt their hearts breaking again at the sight of him. Jake sighed and knelt down beside him, Bryce soon following suit.

"Nicholas Belasco...you never failed Michela. You never will. She's hurt because that evil son of a gun is lying to her. It is our job to catch her when she falls, she still needs you, Nicholas, she loves you as much as you love her,"

Bryce nodded.

"No guy will ever change that Nicholas, sure, right now she is PISSED at all of us, but we will always have her back and if we ever see Alec ever again, may the Lord have mercy,"

Nicholas chuckled and nodded. He slowly got up and hugged the couple.

"Thank you guys,"

Jake and Bryce smiled and hugged back, Jake put a hand on his shoulder after they got out of the hug

"We are brothers Nicholas, we all love Ella, I think she just might need some time, but also a friend."

Nicholas nodded. Jake and Bryce left and Nicholas took out his phone. He saw Michela in his contact list and frowned, thinking about her heartbroken face. He looked at Ashley's contact name and nodded: My Universe <3. (Bold is Ashley)

"Ash...I need help,"

"Oh my god, are you alright? Why does it sound like you were crying?!"

"Because I was,"

"Who do I need to beat up??"

Nicholas chuckled softly,

"I think it would hurt you to beat this person up,"

"Okay, now I'm confused,"

"Can you call Mickey?"

"Why can't y- Oh my god...what happened?!"

"I-I messed up Ash...really bad. I just want to make sure that she's alright,"

"What do you mean? Nick, Mickey loves you as much as you love her...what happened?"

Nicholas started tearing up again at the thought of his best friend crying.

"I-I can't think about it right now Ash, I'm sorry I-"

"No, don't worry about it Nick, I'll call her right now...will you be alright?"

"Once I know that she is alright,"

"Okay...I'll call you after I talk to her,"

With Ashley

Ashley was worried, she barely ever hears Nicholas so broken up about anything. She immediately called Michela: Baeeee! (Bold is Michela)

"Mickey?"

"Hey, Ash,"

Ashley could sense that Michela was broken up about something.

"What's wrong?"

"It's nothing important...why'd you call?"

"What? Can't call my best friend after she had her date get confronted by her three older menacing best friends?"

Ashley heard something from the other side.

"Hey, are you alright?"

"I don't wanna talk about the guys,"

Ashley frowned, now even more worried.

"Alright, so-"

"Wait...did Nicholas call you?"

Ashley was horrified when Michela used Nicholas' full name, she never does.

"No...why did you use his actual name? Mickey, you are actually scaring me right now,"

"Uh, it's not a big deal Ash...I probably should get going now, bye."

"Bye-"

Ashley frowned and pulled the phone away from her ear, Michela hung up before she finished saying bye. That made her even more worried about her younger best friend.

With Nicholas

Nicholas put his phone down and decided that he should check up on his brother, sure Nicholas probably looked horrible because he just cried, but he needed to check up on his brother. Nicholas walked into Justin's room and saw his brother just staring at his ceiling.

"Hey, feeling any better?"

Justin immediately looked at Nicholas with a shocked expression.

"What happened??"

Nicholas sighed,

"Let's just say the confrontation didn't end well,"

Justin frowned,

"Were you harsher because of me?"

Justin felt bad for causing his brother pain until Nicholas shook his head,

"No, don't think like that...we didn't really like Alec from the start anyway, he gave us a weird feeling,"

Justin nodded,

"So...uh, what happened? With...with uh...her?"

Nicholas frowned,

"Well...uh...it didn't end well,"

Justin frowned at how sad his brother looked. Nicholas sat down next to Justin and looked at him.

"She...she left,"

Justin frowned in confusion. Nicholas showed him what is inside of his fist: Michela's charm bracelet. He gasped in horror.

"Oh my god...Nicholas, I'm so sorry,"

Nicholas just shook his head

"Alec is not a good guy Justin...and I'm scared that he's going to hurt Mickey...she looked heartbroken when she left. She was crying, Justin. I don't know what to do,"

Justin was shocked once again. He looked at his hands and nodded,

"I will talk to her tomorrow at camp,"

Nicholas looked at him in shock,

"But...Justin-"

"No...I want to help you and her...plus I never liked Alec anyway,"

Justin gave his brother a small smirk and a wink. Nicholas chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"You never liked him because you were jealous of him,"

Justin shrugged, finally realizing that, yes he was jealous, it drove him crazy seeing Michela laugh or smile with some dude that might like her. Nicholas looked at him,

"Are you sure that you are ready to see her again?"

Justin nodded,

"I want to save her,"

Nicholas smiled, proud of his brother,

"Okay, well...you need to take a shower in the morning so that means waking up early,"

Justin rolled his eyes and shoved him,

"Whatever,"
