(This is when things, for the most part, go uphill)

For all the days/weeks, that Virgil was in the hospital, he always had company.
Patton, Roman, and Logan would always try to visit. Sometimes it might be one, sometimes two, then sometimes three. It really depended on the day. Patton seemed to come everyday, however Virgil didn't mind one bit. For being alone/rejected, for most of his life, being around people was... nice.
Now don't get me wrong, Virgil enjoyed their company, but because he was an introvert, he did enjoy the time he got alone, after almost all day(not school hours) he felt smothered. But he did enjoy it somewhat.
Every visit, they would bring their(Patton, Logan, Roman) would bring their own type of get well gift. The first time from Patton was a card(we all know the one I'm referencing😉) then it escalated from there. Cookies, flowers, balloons, books, of course homework(Logan would help him), and etc.
Virgil also needed to visit a therapist, of course they had one here, but after he got discharged, he could find a different one.
Virgil also had physical therapy for his wings. He couldn't look at them, not yet. One of the first things he told all three of them was that he wanted to see them as they're supposed to be, not what they are right now. His therapist agreed.
Virgil's parents, well let's just say they were arrested and Roman's dad was such a good lawyer, they will be in prison for a long time.(sadly not life sentence)
So when Virgil's doctor's told him he was going to be discarded the next week, Virgil's anxiety spiked. He had no where to go, will he be put in foster homes? Will he never get to see his friends again? Will he be put in more abusive situations?
Those questions were soon answered by Patton and his dad.
"You'll be living with us, well at least until you're 18, but you're welcome to stay longer." Patton's dad told him, later that day(the day he was given the news of discharge)
Well Virgil was still anxious, but instead of bottling it up, he talked about it. First to his therapist, then to Patton's dad himself. Both of Patton's parents were warm and welcoming, assuring him he had nothing to worry about(he was worried about being an inconvenience, waste of space, etc, all the depressing shabam). Patton was so excited and happy that Virgil was going to live with them, even telling Virgil 'it will be light a super longer slumber party!'(a very Patton thing if I do say so myself)
Then Patton started to tell Virgil everything they can do. Along with inviting Logan and Roman and make an even bigger slumber party.

Virgil has never felt more loved and cared for in his whole life. Logan helped him study, and gave tips for his mental and physical health. Roman help him with his physical therapy, and Patton helped with his mental health. They all played a certain part in Virgil's life but at the same time, they did way more then just those roles.

It was a few weeks later (a few months he missed of school total) that Virgil was going back to school. He has been keeping up with tests and homework, but now he will physically be in school.

Virgil was worried, I mean how could he not be. Though he had something or well someone(s) (some people?) that he didn't have before...

He did what he has always did best, ignore it until it physically appears and beats him (almost) to death.

Going back to school wasn't as bad as I thought. My bandaged wings caused lots of people to stare, which made me really anxious, but all three of them helped to keep my mind off of things.
Jason even apologized!
I still got close to major panic attacks, but Logan, Roman, and Patton helped distract me.

Hey guys! I think this story will be coming to an end soon, but I am planning a sequel so don't worry.

I noticed I switched from 1st POV to 3rd person POV, so I will probably fix that?
I want to do a book really focusing on his journey mentally. I made it pretty fast in this story, which doesn't really happen.

This will only be the beginning!!!!!
