I sit there with a smile on my face. I haven't felt this happy in a very long time. I knew she was the one who would restore my faith in love the moment I set eyes on her. I didn't care about any of the girls Sloane hurt; they were just playthings to me, but Raven is different. Raven is the only girl I will fight for. Nothing will change that.

I grab a white tank, a black turtleneck, and dark jeans, putting them in my bag along with my chain, boots, and toothbrush. I close my bedroom door behind me and find Brie and Logan walking down the hall.

"Where are you going so early?" They both ask. I shrug and say, "What are you, my mom and dad?" I laugh and continue down the stairs.

"Don't forget about the party tonight, bro!" Logan reminds me.

"Shit... about that," I turn around to face them, "I won't be there."

"What? Why?" They begin to become frantic, as if my not being there tonight will be the end of the world as we know it.

"I already have plans." I shrug my shoulders and smile as I take my keys out of my pocket and bolt down the stairs. The look on their faces is priceless. I don't understand why they can't party without me. Yeah, it's my house, but Logan doesn't need me there.

"Don't worry, I'll be there later, just not when it starts." I huff. "I'll be late."

"How late?" Brie asks.

"Very late." I smile and walk away. I walk out the door and throw my bag in the car. I get in and start the engine.

I make my way to Ravens and park. I get this feeling in my stomach.

I'm nervous. Why?

I stroke my hair with my hands. When I see her, everything stops. I adore being with her. I feel more for her than just sex. I'm prepared to wait however long it takes for her to be ready. All I want is for her to smile and for me to be the one she turns to.

I get out and walk to the side of her building. Taking one giant leap, I land on her balcony. I knock, knowing she has this place locked up like Fort Knox. She opens the door, and she's still in my t-shirt. I smile and put my bag down. She locks the door behind me, and I don't waste a minute.

I need to kiss her. I lift her as she wraps her legs around my waist. I sit at the edge of the bed with her still wrapped around me. I move her hair out of her face and say.

"You might've not missed me, but I missed you." She kisses me, and I get lost in the bubble we have created. She pulls away, and I give her one last peck.

"Are you hungry?" She asks.

"I thought you were tired." I grin. "I am, but I'm also starving," she replies with a laugh. "So, what do you want to eat?" I tell her I'm fine, and she kisses my cheek.

She gets up, walks out of her room, and heads to the kitchen. Pulling out eggs, wraps, and cheese from the fridge, she looks at me and says, "Are you sure you don't want any?"

"I'm good." I smile at her and take a seat on the couch. A few minutes pass, and she takes a seat next to me. She takes a bite and then waves it in my face.

"Are you sure?" She taunts. I shake my head and lean down to take a bite. She laughs at me and takes another bite. "That's really good," I tell her.

"Here." She hands me the rest, and I eat it in one bite. I watch as she walks across the room on her bare legs while placing the plate in the sink. She motions for me to follow her as she licks her lips.

"Close the door, please." She asks, so I do as I'm told. She gets in her bed and tells me to join. I strip down to my boxers and get under the covers. I grab her waist and pull her close. She nuzzles her head into my neck as I kiss her head.

"So Brie texted me and said you guys are having another party tonight. I told her I wouldn't be going. So I thought maybe we should cancel our date so you can be there."

"I'm not cancelling anything with you. I already told them I was busy and I'd be very late. Plus, you're coming home with me tonight." I smile.

"Oh, is that so?" She giggles, and her smile lights up my world.

"Yeah." I cup her face and look into her eyes. "I want to do this right; you and I are both new to this. But if I walk into that party tonight, I want you by my side. If not, I'm not going."

"Okay." She agrees with me. I lean in and kiss her.

I can't help but kiss her neck as my fingers glide through her hair. As I leave a path of wet kisses, she moans. I take her top off, then I lower her panties. I desire her in every way. I kiss her breasts before moving myself in-between her thighs and down to her stomach. Her body begins to develop goosebumps as I watch.

As my tongue lands on her tender region, her breathing becomes laboured, and she begins to moan. She starts shaking in a matter of minutes. She pulls down my boxers and tugs at them before I can finish her. She lifts my head to kiss her, and I tilt myself to the side as my tongue separates our mouths. She strokes her hand up and down my length. When I pump, my finger gently glides into her, and she lets go at the same time as me as I kiss her passionately.

I pull her beautiful body closer to me and say, "Let's get some sleep." She closes her eyes as my grip on her tightens. Before I know it, we've both fallen asleep. The warmth of her body next to mine makes me feel safe and content. I know that I'm falling for her, But I'm afraid I'll do something to screw this up.

As I drift off to sleep, I can't help but wonder what the future holds for us. Will we continue to grow closer, or will our paths diverge? Only time will tell, but for now, I'm grateful for this moment of peace and comfort with her by my side.
