When we finally reached Heathrow, our car didn't go to the parking area but instead to a security gate. I never knew there was another way to enter the airport. After some security check, Ryder drove our car directly onto the tarmac.
What was going on?!
And then I saw a...jet. I instantly remembered I saw a private jet in some random movie. I assumed the one in front of me was also one of them. But why were we heading to it?
Ryder carefully halted the car at the foot of the steps leading up to the plane. Ryder and Ian both climbed out and right away started to scan the area cautiously, for our safety. Then I saw it. The bold letters on the jet, 'Ryan Cloud'. I took a few moments to properly digest the fact.
"This is your private jet!?" I whispered to Ron excitedly while still gawking at that beauty.
"No." I looked at Ron with a slight disappointment, which vanished by his following words. "This is our private jet."
A few minutes later when Ian and Ryder properly completed their security check, Ryder opened the door for Ron. Ron walked to my side with a few wide steps and opened the door for me. And without giving me any warning he climbed in and lifted me up. I yelped with his sudden action.
"What are you doing?" I squeaked as I snaked his firm neck with my arms out of fear.
"Fulfilling the wedding rituals," Ron smirked playfully.
Ron carried me effortlessly up the steps. Ian and Ryder silently followed us with our luggage. I didn't pack much, and neither did Ron. We only had two small trolleys of our own. Ian first entered the cabin and signalled us to enter. Ryder left those trolleys at the threshold of the plane and returned to the car. Inside the cabin, there were two pilots waiting for us with a very welcoming smile on their faces.
"Welcome abroad, Mr and Mrs Ryan." One of them smiled at us politely.
Ron put me down and shook the pilot's hand.
"Congratulations to you both," The other one smiled at us respectfully.
"Thank you, Andrew. Liza, he is Andrew, the first officer of this flight." I shook Andrew's hand. "And this is Tristian. He's our captain for today."
"Delighted to meet you." Tristian smiled politely at me.
"Are we ready to fly?" Ron started a talk with them as I looked around the cabin. It was gorgeous and luxurious. The interior was all white and cosy. All the seats were covered with pale cream leather. A good-looking woman in a light chocolate uniform stood at the other end of the cabin. I assumed she was the flight attendant.
"Excellent." I looked at Ron when he finished talking with those pilots. He looked at me gaily. "Let's take a seat." He led me to those super luxurious leather seats.
I carefully took my seat as Ron took off his tuxedo jacket and undid his fine black brocade vest. We sat comfortably in two single seats facing each other with a small, highly polished black table between us.
"Welcome abroad, sir, ma'am, and congratulations." That attractive attendant smiled at us, offering pink expensive champagne. I note her name on the name tag, Samantha.
"Thank you, Sam," Ron said, and she smiled politely at us.
Once Ryder came back finishing his work, he went to another common cabin with Ian. We settled down on our seats as the plane started to roll on the runway. Once we were airborne, Ron got up from his seat.
"Come." He offered me his hand delicately, and I took it. He led me to the back of the cabin, to a small door. Then he led me down a spacious corridor and through a door at the end. Ron opened the door for me.
Oh, a private bedroom.
The cabin was all white, with a comfortable double bed covered in grey and pale cream cushions.
"Take your time." Ron smiled reassuringly and left me alone.
Ian already placed our trolley on a luggage rack. I opened mine and quickly changed into a simple maple coloured floral dress. I kept my hair and makeup. If I tried to remove them, I would look like a horrible mess. I returned to the previous cabin to see that Ron also changed into a simple pale violet shirt and white trousers.
Once I settled, Samantha served us our food. Lobster with mashed potatoes, filet mignon with green beans, classic seasonal salad, grilled chicken and cherry tomato skewers. For dessert we were served with delicious raspberry macaron, irresistible chocolate muffins and elegant small cheesecake pie.
I didn't eat much at my reception. I felt super hungry after seeing those delicious dishes.
After finishing our food Ron handed me over a black sleeping eye mask.
"Why don't you take a little nap?" He smiled dearly at me. "It will take a few hours."
"Where are we going, anyway?" I asked him as I took that mask from him.
"It's in Thailand." He informed me casually.
"What's in Thailand?" I was clueless as fuck.
"The gift," Ron said. "Remember. It's in Thailand."
The whole conversation was kind of complicated. I remembered clearly that Allan and Lucy gave us a full box of sand as a wedding gift, with a little mix of glitter. But there we were talking about Thailand. I assumed my ceaselessness was completely showing on my face because Ron started to laugh.
"Do you know what they gave us?" He arched his one brow with a smirk on his face.
"Umm, a full box of sand," I replied to him, "with some glitter." Ron's eyes were glinting with amusement.
"Yeah, it was sand, but no that wasn't glitter. That was gold dust." He chuckled in a low tone.
Right! I should've known that rich people used gold dust instead of glitter.
"But what about Thailand?" I asked him again. Ron bit his lower lip and pressed his neck so hard that his knuckle turned white. Oh god, did I make him angry?
"You are going to be a death for me." he chuckled darkly at me with dilated pupils.
"You didn't get it, did you?" He inquired.
"No," I modestly admitted.
"Then I shouldn't spoil it. Why don't you wait for a few more hours to discover it yourself?" He smirked.

It felt like I'd barely fallen asleep when Ron woke me up. It was almost a twelve-hours flight. I was groggy as Ron pulled me through the terminals carefully, struggling to remember how to open my eyes after every blink. It typically took me a few minutes to catch up with what was going on.
A grey Porsche was waiting for us at the gate. The sun was almost ready to set and there was still time before the evening. I drowsily peeked through the window. The warm breeze felt really nice on my face and skin. Our car stopped at the wooden docks. We slowly stepped out of the car and when I looked ahead of me, and there was only one thing I could see.
BLUE.
The sky, the ocean, everything was blue, an aesthetic crystal blue.
"Beautiful." I was so amazed that I could only mutter one word.
Ron held my hand and led me away. Ryder was ahead of us carrying our trolleys effortlessly, and Ian was behind us following. We stopped by the average size of a silver yacht. That yacht looked just like an alluring silver fish in that blue ocean. Ron supported me carefully to climb over the edge. As we headed into the open ocean, I allowed my mind and heart to absorb the beauty around me. I was born and raised on a lovely island. My life was surrounded by the ocean. But I never saw that amount of blue. It was beyond blue.
The sun drowned in front of me in that blue ocean. The light of the main city faded and disappeared behind us gradually. The warm touches of the pleasant breeze washed away by the sea spray as the yacht took little jumps on the waves.
"Where are we going?" I asked Ron curiously.
"A little bit more." He smiled warmly. I turned my attention again to that artistic scenery around me.
"Can you see that, Liza?" About twenty-five minutes later Ron called me out.
I tried to look in his direction. It was a little dark, but I could see it clearly with the help of the last rich light of the day.
A private island.
A small island rose from the shimmering water, covered with countless coconut and other tropical trees. The island looked so green in that endless blue heaven. The boat slowed and positioned itself against a wooden dock.
"Where are we?" I inquired Ron.
"This is Roza Island," Ron answered me contentedly.
"Roza Island?" I asked wonderingly.
"A perfect blend of Ron and Liza," Ron smirked. "This is our wedding gift, from mom and dad."
Who the heck gives an Island as a wedding gift?!
Probably the rich people like Allan George Ryan. We all slowly climbed out of the yacht. Two Thai people were eagerly waiting for us on the wooden dock. One was a round male in his thirties and the other one was a female Asian beauty. When we reached them Ryder informed us that they were our caretaker.
"Hi." I smiled at them gaily.
Both of them suddenly clasp their hands together and bow a little to us.
"Sah wah dee khrap!", "Sah wah dee khaa..."
I quickly looked at Ron for help.
"They are saying hello." He whispered to me. "Just follow my action."
Ron mimicked them. "Sah wah dee khrap!"
"Kār deinthāng k̄hxng khuṇ pĕn xỳāngrị b̂āng."
"Laxeīyd."
Wow, He could speak Thai.
Ron started to talk with them in fluent Thai and I had no idea what they were talking about.
After chatting a little, Ron turned to me. "They arranged something little for us. Do you want to come with them? Or I can tell them that we are tired and..."
"What are you saying?" I cut him off. "I don't want to miss anything about this beautiful place."
Ron turned to them and told them something politely. They nodded their heads and led us the way. I promptly removed my heel and started to walk barefoot. After those high heels, that sand filled ground felt really nice. As if those loose sand grains were massaging my feet soothingly. For a short while, it was a jungle-like growth. We followed a narrow wooden path, lit by little lamps beside that trail. Soon we reached a lovely wooden bungalow, with wide windows and glass doors.
Ryder and Ian went into that house to set down our luggage. Ian also carried two little trolleys. I assumed those belonged to them. Ian headed to a detached little house a little far from the magnificent bungalow. Ron told me that Ian and Ryder would stay there. After settling the luggage, we followed those people. Ryder and Ian in tow. I didn't really know where we were going, but the place was so peaceful that It didn't matter anymore. I just enjoyed the musical sound of the broken waves on that golden sand.
After walking for like five minutes from the main house, my eyes widened before the sight of mine.
There was a bonfire and a table ready for two. The table was decorated with scented white candles and fragrant flowers. My throat felt dry when I saw an elegant canopy bed a little far from those excellent arrangements. Covered with red rose petals.
Perfect for a newlywed couple.
"We can go back to the house if you don't like it," Ron told me with a little hesitation.
"No, it's beautiful." I smiled at him indulgently.
Ryder and Ian left us alone. Those caretakers served us some local delicious dishes gracefully. As a starter tom yum Goong (spicy shrimp soup), pad thai with Yam Talay (spicy seafood salad) and Thai jelly as dessert. We drank some fresh coconut water as a drink. I felt super hungry in front of those dishes.
"Let me call Ryder and Ian." Ron got up from our seat as soon as we finished our grand dinner.
"Why?" I asked him calmly as I wiped my hand with a soft tissue paper properly. "I thought we would spend the night here."
Ron looked at me with a surprised expression.
I inhaled a long breath. "This place is beautiful. We could spend the night just watching those stars." I smiled at him amiably.
"Well, I... am... okay with that." Ron chuckled a little.
We moved from our dinner table to that rose bed. We took our seats on both sides of that bed. I stiffly leaned a little to the comfortable headboard.
"Look up Liza." Ron pointed to the sky gleefully. When I looked up, I was breathless instantly.
I never saw so many luminous stars in my life! The crystal moon was still coming out and its brightness was weak, further highlighting the brightness of those diamond stars. Without electric lights that extinguished them blandly, without the smog of the cities that hid them cruelly, millions of stars shone above us gallantly. We stared tirelessly at them. There was an enchanted silence surrounding us.
"Thank you." I broke the profound silence.
"You should thank my parents." Ron chuckled a little. "They are the one..."
"I am not talking about the gift." I cut him off. I turned my head towards him thankfully. "Thank you for everything else." He also looked at me in the dark.
We stared at each other for a few seconds. I slowly turned my head to those glittering stars again.
Little by little, the warm soothing breeze and the melodious sound of the sea became a calming lullaby which made my eyelids feel heavy. Without realising, I fell asleep.
Peacefully.
After numerous sleepless nights....

Tsk, tsk, Liza. You are so naive. Men don't only frustrate because of anger, there are many reasons to make them frustrated.....
