Today was Alex birthday. He's lucky he gets to celebrate his birthday. I sight as he walks in but he freezes. Mate, he says with hatred. My eyes widen. I heard about mates before my sister died.

"I don't want you as a mate," he spat. "The moon goddess must have made a mistake." He starts throwing punches and I whimper. He leaves and i lay on the floor in a puddle of my own blood.

I gulped. He probably doesn't want to see me since im his mate. I make my way down to the kitchen to find the alcoholic beverages. I pick them up and make my way out to the party.

I see girls dancing all over alpha. I make my way up to him and over him the beverage. He glares at me and takes one. The girls around him take one and laugh.

"Look at the little dirty maid". They all laugh including Alex. I let my head hang low and go back to the kitchen.

The old lady comes up to me telling me to stay in the kitchen until the party is over. I nod

The party finally ended and alpha Alex came into the kitchen drunk. Who told you to put your hair up, he slurred. Sorry alpha. He pulled my hair causing the hair tie to fall off.
