I hated that he marked me against my will. Not even giving me a choice. I haven't talked to him in and I don't even care. I would reject his sorry ass but I can't because of the bond.

It could hurt both of us and I'm tired of being hurt. So I'm just not going to reject him. I don't want to get out of bed anymore I laid here straight for a whole week. I only got up to use the bathroom and take a shower but that's about it.

I lay on the bed going through what's on tv. "Nothing." I groan. I'm starving and irritated. I grab some money from Alex secret stash and I throw on a hoodie and some jeans.I look out the balcony and open the doors. Maybe if I jump I can run to get some food or something.

I look at how far down the fall would be and I decide on jumping. One,two, three! I jump and tumble into bushes. I make my run to the nearest cafe. I see a shop come up and I go into it.

"Hello how can we help you today?" A friendly old lady asked. "Can I get a Pepsi and a burger." She nods her head heading towards the back.

I look out the window making sure he doesn't find me.

After about fifteen minutes my food comes. "Finally!" I whisper yell. I take a bite into my burger and sigh. It's so good. I take a sip of my Pepsi that's in a styrofoam cup.

I hear banging in the window and I look out of it. "Shoot!" Alex was yelling from the outside and my eyes widen. "Thank you so much but I have to go now." I set my cash down on the table and I grab my burger and Pepsi.

Psst, you thought I was gonna waist a deliciously burger and Pepsi. I run out the back door the people kindly let me use and I run through the forest. I stuff the rest of my delicious burger I didn't really get to savor and I drink some more Pepsi while running.

I throw the cup and change into wolf form. I spring through the forest hearing Alex vicious growls. He was angry for a fact. But not as angry as I am. Leaving me in a room without food or water is a no no.

I hear him closer and I pick up my speed. I clench my jaw trying to run faster. "Dammit!" I'm tackled to the ground and growling Alex stands over me in shorts.

"Shift." I mentally roll my eyes and go behind a tree. I change back and out my clothes back on. I walk towards him and he's fuming with anger.

"How could you run away like that." "How could you leave me in a locked room for over a week. I wake up the next morning and "boom!" I'm locked in the room with you nowhere to be found. And do you want to know the funny thing? It's like you forgot all about me.

You left me in a room without checking on me. Not even to bring me food. You so call yourself trying to be the best mate but it doesn't look like that's working now is it!"

He stands back for a second and growls. "I left you in there because I didn't want to fuck you. It took all my strength not to for goddess sake! So I locked myself out. I told the maids to bring you food. And every since I marked you I wanted to be so damn close to you.

But then I see you running away from me. I see how you treat me and I don't like it one bit."

"Your being a selfish asshole!" I scream at him but freeze when he turns around. "Run."

"what?!" "You better run Makayla. The faster you run the less you won't get punished."

His eyes are dark and he's shaking. I run so fast I didn't even know my feet were moving. They moved on their own.

I kept running when I hear his growl miles away from me. The trees were a blur while I was running.

I was tackled to the ground once again. He lets out a vicious growl making me whimper and flinch. He punches my face and my head falls back hard into the dirt. He punches agains and kicks me in the side

"Please s-stop alpha!" He freezes and stands back.

Alex pov

"Please s-stop alpha!" I stand back at what she says. She hasn't called me alpha since the days I beat her. She hasn't stuttered like that either."

A memory flashes in my head and I freeze.

                             •Flashback•

How dare you lie about killing your sister! She was everyone's favorite unlike you. I whipped  her all over her body. It didn't matter if it wasn't her back or not. I was just furious. "Please s-stop alpha!" "Why would I stop for someone who doesn't deserve to live this life. Your sister needed it more. I whipped her one more time before she blacked off.

I look at Makayla laying on the floor and I gasp. I cup her her cheek and whimper. I pick her up from the ground and kiss her forehead.

"I'm sorry. I don't know why I was so mad. Just the thought of losing  you made me mad.

I knew she wasn't going to say anything to me but it was worth the try. She just laid there in my hands. Stiff and quiet. I carry her back to the pack and set her down. I take ahold of her hand and I walk her to the room.

"Please nothing but that room. I'm tired of seeing it's boring looks", she whispers to me. I sigh and lead her to the movie room. "We can just stay the night in here.

She nods keeping her head down. "Did I just bring out the old scared Makayla? I hope not. I sigh falling asleep by her in the recliner chair.
