(Steve's POV)

{10 months later}

"Good job team, now come on home. Alfred made cookies", I said into the headset I was wearing. I was sitting in the Bat-cave, at the Bat-computer. It was the way I could help the team.

As I was waiting for them to get back, I rolled myself up the ramp to the second floor of the cave. Bruce took me, Dezray, Beatrix, mom, and Aunt Ember in. Aunt Ember adopted Beatrix and she joined the team as Trickster.

I was looking at the past Batman, Robin, and the Finch suits. At the far end was my suit. Its black leather appearance appeared to still have the icy blue snow falling across it.  I brushed my ice blue streak of hair out of my eyes. Now a days, I wore t-shirts and jeans. And I had stopped wearing my contacts, instead I wore my black thin framed glasses. 

I heard the sound of motorcycles and the Bat-mobile enter the long tunnel to the cave. I quickly rolled myself to meet the team and the Bat-family on the bottom floor.

I greeted everyone and did a head count. We were missing someone.

"Where's Rosie", I asked Clare as she took Sam's hand in her own.

"Stayed behind to make sure the guy didn't get away", She said walking out of the cave with her boyfriend, Sam, in tow.

I stayed down in the cave until Rosie came back. I looked at the clock as she entered. 1:00 in the morning.

"Hey Steve, did you wait up for me", Rosie said walking up behind me and putting her arms around my shoulders.

"Yes", I said turning my head to kiss her lips. No one knew we were a couple. It was easier that way. No one would threaten Rosie or Nightingale with trying to kill me. I don't think Rosie could've taken any more scares from me right then.

"Well, I'm heading to bed, care to join", She asked me, nibbling on my ear. 

"Sorry, babe. Got to work a bit. But I'll be up as soon as I can", I said. She kissed me one last time and left.

An hour later, I finely went up stairs. I went through the TV room. Then I saw Rosie asleep on the couch. She was sitting upright, but very much asleep.

I rolled myself over to the couch and got myself onto it. Then I grabbed a blanket off the back and pulled Rosie on top of me. I covered us with the blanket and fell asleep to the sound of Rosie's quiet breathing.

(The next morning)

 I always got up before Rosie, and this morning wasn't the exception. Rosie was still very much asleep. She had a bad case of bed head, but I didn't care. I held the girl I loved in my arms.

She eventually woke up though. 

"Good-morning, Sleepy-head", I said kissing her on the top of her head.

"Morning to you, Captain Bed-head", She said leaning her head up to kiss me on the lips.

Then I heard a person clear their throat.

"Its about time you two hooked up", Alfred said as he and the rest of the family moved where we could see them.

Rosie's dad looked filled with joy. Not what I would happen. I thought for sure he would kill me for kissing his daughter but he looked totally fine with.

 "Pay up Bruce", Mrs. Grayson shouted at the top of her lungs.

"How much", Bruce asked.

"$500", She said, sticking out her hand for the money.

"Wait you had a bet on us", I askedn getting into my wheelchair.

Yep and Bruce lost it ", Mrs. Grayson said, a large smile forming on her face.

Everyone started to laugh at the look on Bruce's face as he handed the money to her.

(No one's POV)

The masked man watch the happy family and smiled himself. 

"Soon you won't be so happy, Richard Grayson", he said as some of Gotham's worst villeins stepped up behind him.

Then they all started laughing.
