This is a little different from the first two books because 1: Trickster and 2: Most of the book Nightingale, Blaze, and Trickster are all being held by a very creepy clown.

(Trickster's/Beatrix's POV)

I was fighting in an alleyway when Nightingale and Blaze showed up. 

We toke care of the bad guys and tied them up all comfortable.

"What do you want", I said sharply. I didn't like the fact that Nightingale was the youngest, yet had the most experience.

"We want you to join our team, Trickster. We could really use a girl like you", Blaze said in a calming voice.

"The answer is n-", I started to say as a can of laughing gas fell at our feet.

All three of us blacked out.
